Iconic, mysterious, wonder of the ancient world - one to tick of your list. Whilst here - go visit the Amesbury Museum - it's a small museum with a big collection of mesolithic and neolithic artefacts. Really friendly and well informed.

Less than half a mile form Stonehenge - Durrington walls could be the 'builder's yard' for Stonehenge or maybe even the start of the funereal journey from the River Avon to Stonehenge. Excavations this year may reveal more. It's worth going to see!
