Some great restaurant options!

Here is a list of places to eat, both local and central, cheaper and fancier, chains, and individual restaurants. I hope you love them but do just ask if you need other tips!
The most incredible, authentic, Indian cuisine. Check on the website - most of the time you can't book and have to queue, but it's worth it!

A fantastic brunch spot. We recommend the Young Betty, Convict and the hash browns are to die for! Coffee is great and the orange juice with galangal is spot on. Lovely Aussie sweet treats for dessert if you still have room too!

This is a fantastic gastro pub - you get a combination of traditional English pub, really nice food and a fantastic view of the river Thames and St Paul's Cathedral. You can take a walk along the river before or after. I recommend walking all the way down from Waterloo to enjoy everything the Southbank has to offer and all the other views and vibrant activity along the way!

Tonnes of options here - places to eat and drink. One of London's most famous markets. It does get busy! I'd recommend Rabot 1745 here - the Hotel Chocolat cafe and restaurant. The cafe does great coffee and amazing chocolatey treats. The restaurant (top floor) has a nice view of the market and a full menu of chocolate-infused food!

This and the other restaurants at The Shard are great options. You can pop in for just a drink, or you can visit for meals and/or afternoon tea. I'm soon to visit for the Mary Poppins themed afternoon tea and very excited! You can pay to go The View From The Shard, but to me, it's better to sit and have a lovely drink a few floors down - it's cheaper and still has a fab view!
