This is a quick list of my favourites - please message me if you stumble on more during your stay that must be added. I'll be light on details, other than their names, so please Google them. It feels like Ballarat is changing by the day....with new places opening and more and more creative souls moving to this stunning city.
Book early, it's a tiny degustation-only, and pronounced something like oondabar. I still haven't been:( but I have heard it's nothing short of spectacular.

New and gorgeous decor, part of the newly opened Provincial Hotel, opposite the train station in one of Ballarat's many grand old buildings.

Super cool, their website says it's based on the hawker dining bars of SE Asia....my kind of place, think Melbourne's Chin Chin.
