Staten Island Has Great Touring Too!!!!

Staten Island is home to some of the oldest buildings in NYC, including one of the city’s only living historic villages! From Sandy Ground – the continuously oldest black settlement in the United States – to Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden – one of the first established retirement homes for sailors in the 19th century, it’s hard to walk a few feet without stumbling upon some interesting history.
