Food Scene

Souk Tabule is delicious, and so convenient! We often pick up a muhamara dip with saj for a snack. Their dip tray is worth a try, but so is the rice, the fried fish sammy and just about everything else. It's also a nice quiet spot during the day to grab a pot of tea and sit with a book or some work.

Shopping

A Toronto icon. We recommend going on a weekday (except Monday, because it's closed) for regular grocery shopping. If you need fresh tortillas, brown rice syrup, or some other strange ingredient, try the basement. For the full market experience, go Saturday morning. Don't miss the fresh farmer section under the big white tent.
