Beautiful open, light-filled first floor of a small house out in the country! Still accessible to downtown Cape May and beaches (a long but pleasant walk, or a short drive/bike), but felt more relaxed than the tourist happenings closer to the beaches.

Nice renovations and beautiful surroundings. Central location between Cape May Point and the beach. Easy bike or walk/run (if inclined) on pretty country roads. Slightly hidden house so appreciated the personal escort to be sure we found our way and were comfortable!

Barbara was very kind and accommodating. Check in and check out were super easy. The bed was quite comfortable, everything felt crisp and new, and the artwork and color schemes were pleasant and relaxing. Having access to Netflix was a nice surprise for that rainy evening. It was interesting seeing the vineyard close up, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. If you are heading to this area for the bird watching, this location is perfectly suited with s nationally recognized spots for birding within easy bicycle distance. Also just a short drive into Cape May/West Cape May for dinner. Don't miss the sunset at Sunset Beach just a mile or 2 down the road from the vineyard.

After a couple of days in noisy New York City, this place was just the best. The cottage was pretty, cozy and clean and (although there was also an inside shower) the outside shower was a great experience! It was also great that we could use the bycicles to ride around the pretty town of Cape May. Glenda and Werner were super friendly, and surprised us with some great muffins and fruit every day. We had a wonderful time!

This place was just what we needed. It is just enough room for two to get ready for the day and unwind and sleep at the end of the day. We really appreciated some of the bonuses that came with this Little Gem like the bikes, chairs, and beach tags. Glenda was so sweet and even had fresh fruit and muffins for us each morning. This was our second stay, and if anything, we came to appreciate Susan's wonderful place even more. It is very clean, well appointed, and has everything you need to stay in and relax, cook, or work quietly. The location is very quiet, but a quick drive or bike ride to everything. Could not recommend more highly!

The place is beautiful and spacious. Even though Susan wasn't there during my stay, she made sure we had everything we needed and replied very quickly to any questions. I would love to stay there again and would highly recommend to anyone looking to go to Cape May. The location is great too!

Susan's place far exceeded our expectations, especially for a couple of snowy January days! It is extremely well appointed and decorated, comfortable, and very clean. She has thoughtfully provided everything you need and more. It is both very private and quiet, and very close to the beach, restaurants, town, and Cape May Point. Susan was amazing, gave me detailed instructions to locate parking and left everything as easy as possible. My fiance, our small dog, and I had a great time at Mike and Lisa's cottage. It's a darling space with lots of natural light. Cozy, with all of the essentials - kitchen (with coffee maker, toaster, dishes, serving utensils), nice bathroom, plenty of space to hang clothes, good wifi, and cable. AWESOME for dog owners - our hosts are truly dog friendly and it shows - they let our pup run around the yard, as if it were her own. They also made recommendations for local eateries where she would be welcome. Mike was kind enough to offer us bikes to ride (we didn't get enough time to use them). The beach was a 5 minute car ride, so it would be great to cycle. Hope to go back and visit them soon.

This is a great place in a great location. Tucked away in West Cape May, close to everything but away from the crowds. A really great fenced yard that out two poodles enjoyed. Mike and Lisa are great hosts and had the chance to meet and talk to them a couple of time. Highly recommended! We hope to go back soon.

Wonderful weekend with my wife and Boston Terrier. The place is cozy and very well maintained. Very convenient location.... We only wish we had the opportunity to use the chimenea. Definitely recommend!

The cottage was perfect! Nice little Cape May escape out of the bustle of downtown, but close enough to everything to be convenient. The cottage is clean and bright and the hosts Mike and Lisa were really easy going and friendly, but respectful of our privacy too. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything!

Our stay at Mike's cottage was really nice -- it's a great location, close to a number of the wineries and dog-friendly Higbee beach and also a mile or so from Beach Ave. The cottage is cozy and nicely finished -- definitely enough space for me, my fiancé and our 19lb pooch. She loved the fenced in yard -- but the gate to fence was open one night and she made an (URL HIDDEN) that was a bit of a scare. Overall, really nice place and welcoming hosts.

The room and living room space were beautiful and welcoming. It was quiet and comfortable, very clean. My daughter got sick while we were there, and Shelley really went beyond what could be expected to help out. It made things much easier for us, and her thoughtfulness was truly touching.

The place was nice and comfortable. Everything was very clean. And Shelley was really thoughtful to keep us well stocked with bottled water and a keurig with k cups.

My bedroom (the one with the poster bed) and bath were comfortable, spotless, very private and nicely decorated. I had everything I truly needed ... (There was even sunburn ointment in the closet :) The location was good. Sometimes, I walked to the beach or to restaurants and sometimes I drove. I also walked to South Cape May Meadows. The home and the neighborhood were quiet. Shelley stayed in touch by text and I always felt free to contact her.

Shelley wasn't in town when I arrived, but let me know via text ahead of time and where everything was. The place was the nicest airbnb I've stayed in. There was a private fridge and tv, a keurig maker and bottled water! Very nice! Almost like staying in a hotel!

Shelley's place was perfect for us. We stopped in for only one night, but it was clean and centrally located. The decor was fun and the bed was comfortable. We never met Shelley, but we communicated via text. It was a good stay.

Shelly made me feel so welcome. Her home is so warm and inviting. The room was perfect, beautifully decorated and spotless. As was the private Bath. She provided above and beyond what I expected in amenities. So much so, that I will NEVER stay in a hotel in Cape May again. I also enjoyed the fact it was so peaceful and quite. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra estancia en Suzanne, excelente ubicación a poca distancia de la playa, tiendas y restaurantes! Suzanne es un excelente anfitrión, a nuestra llegada que pasó tiempo con nosotros revisando los puntos locales de interés, restaurantes que admiten mascotas, etc! E incluso tenía golosinas para perros orgánicos caseros para nuestra yorkie. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente para puerta de tranquilidad lejos.

Suzanne was very professional to work with, prompt and always helpful. The apt. is conveniently located, 6 blocks from the ocean. We rode our bikes east to go to the lighthouse and west to go into town. Pedaled around the surrounding neighborhood which was quiet and safe. Two air conditioners kept the place very cool and although you are on a busy road, couldn't notice with the a/c on. The bed is comfy and shower pressure strong. Host has made the most out of this space, provides plenty of soft towels and linens although i brought my own. I can be a bit squeamish about smells so i am happy to report this apt. smelled clean and was clean! Loved the high windows and great light. Plus plenty of lighting for nighttime throughout. The floor goes up and down in places as you may expect in an older home, but the rate more than makes up. There is an apt. above and you may hear subtle floor creaks as someone walks across but that was rare and faint. I slept well regardless! Suzanne gave me info on an organic eatery(just around the block) and organic market in next town which i was delighted to visit. Also, just across the bridge is an Acme that has an organic produce dept. The apt. is well suited to a single person maybe with a (URL HIDDEN) the bed is only a full size. I liked being able to cross the 'other' bridge to the mainland simply by driving up this street a few miles. This is my first airbnb experience and was a very good one. I will definitely use this service again. I am fairly independent and do my research for trips but whenever i had a question, Suzanne was just a text away. When i texted asking about gas stations, she supplied me with four choices and addresses! Very thorough! Even though this apt. is part of a larger house and i think numerous apts. there is plenty of privacy. This was more of a sabbatical for me, my husband came and went so the tiny kitchen wasn't a problem. But its definitely a one person kitchenette. =) If we were both there the whole week we would prefer a bigger bed and a bigger kitchen as I prefer to cook most of my meals but we totally enjoyed our stay and you will too!! And if you prefer to go out to eat, the kitchen won't be an issue. Very fairly priced and comfortable. CVS is just around the corner(i got a memory stick for my camera) while on my bike and Jakes pizza on Sunset Blvd nearby is convenient too when you don't want to go into Cape May proper.

Suzanne was a great host. She was very responsive to any questions we had and went above and beyond to help us out with our visit to Cape May. We went to visit for Christmas celebrations and Suzanne was nice enough to put together a small itinerary of all the events going on for that weekend and even gave us some great recommendations. The apartment was great for us. It offered everything we needed and was a great place to watch the Christmas Parade. We could watch the parade right from the front porch area.

Suzanne was a great host and provided heaps of excellent suggestions and recommendations. She was very accommodating of our needs, especially seeing as we were traveling with a 3 month old. Her place is in a great location close to everything but away from bigger hotels etc. The accommodation was good value for the price, could do with a bigger bed for two people, and the bathroom was a bit basic, but overall would highly recommend - thank you Suzanne!

We very much enjoyed our stay with Marian. She is a gracious host and has a charming home in a perfect location close to the lighthouse and various beaches. The room was bright, cheery and spacious. We had an excellent weekend stay in Marian's home! Every bit of convenience that we could have possibly needed to have a comfortable, easy stay at Cape May was offered to us, including juice and coffee in the mornings, beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, and even beach tags! The bikes were a wonderful bonus, as it seemed all the locals used bikes to get around town. The home was clean, comfortable, had a beautiful garden, and was a quick bike ride to the beach and the downtown area. Marian gave us plenty of privacy over the weekend but was available through text and everything we needed to know was written in convenient messages around the house. I would highly recommend this home to anyone!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. Marian is an experienced and thoughtful host. We had use of living, kitchen and wonderful screened-in porch giving onto her lovely garden. Clean, cool and comfortable accommodations, a short walk from one of the migratory bird parks, and two very good restaurants she recommended to us. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Beach & Birder Paradise! Tom welcomed us and helped us get oriented on our first evening, and Marian was a friendly presence full of great suggestions for things to do and places to dine. The location was away from the center of town but within easy striking distance of the sites we wanted to reach for the fall birding festival. There is a lot of privacy given the access the Halligans give guests to the first floor, including a lovely screened porch and back area. The bathroom worked for the two of us, not ensuite but close by, and the bedroom with two double beds was spacious and comfortable. We recommend our hosts and enjoyed our stay.

Marian and Tom were amazing hosts! They made me and my mom feel so welcome! We had a great time at Cape May and I highly recommend to visit the winery that's down the st!

The Home was very friendly and comprehensive.

I was a little nervous booking a private room in a house where the host would be present. But Tom and Marian were very friendly and we pretty much had the whole first floor of the house to ourselves. We hardly knew they were even home. The neighborhood was safe and in a great location for us, as we wanted to enjoy the nature areas nearby. It was a warm house with a cozy feel and we were really impressed. Thanks, Tom and Marian!

Marian & Tom were very welcoming and accommodating. Quite helpful with giving us tips on the local activities and restaurants. Plus, there was an album full of info and pamphlets in our room which was helpful.

Linda and Lou are a truly kind and welcoming couple. I thoroughly enjoyed conversing with them both, especially because we have home towns in common. My favorite part of the experience was the porch which is so open and airy yet private and comfortable. The view is relaxing and I didn't feel bad when I was inactive because I felt as though I were still enjoying the outdoors on the porch. The bed was quite comfortable, although it was just myself - if I were a couple, it would be important to enjoy closeness and that we not be larger people! It was nice to be able to have the door open at night as a breezeway with the porch latched. I used the entire space thoroughly and found it all worked well. The area, as others have noted, is rife with farmers' markets. Being a long term vacationer in Cape May, I enjoyed that the location was not far from the Point, Cape May proper, or Higbee Beach, since I like to visit all three all three and did during my stay.

Linda and Lou could not have been more warm and welcoming. The chateau felt so much like home that it was very hard to leave! I cannot wait to find a reason to run away and stay here once again.

Linda was warm, genuine and welcoming! The tiny rental area is beautifully done, quiet, sunny. The bicycles made the whole town easily accessible and enjoyable and the location couldn't be more secluded and yet near good restaurants, the beach, farm stands, a massage therapist, shopping, etc. It really was everything we had hoped for! We spent a long holiday weekend here and really felt like we hadn't taken enough advantage of the location and available amenities. Bliss was an incredible place to stay in cape may! I proposed to my girlfriend at bliss and it will forever be a special place. The perfect romantic getaway that's far enough from all the hustle but close enough to the beaches. Susan provided us with a special place to come back to at the end of the day and by the end of our trip it felt like a home away from home.

This house is the perfect spot for anyone looking to get away and de-stress/recharge their battery. I immediately felt comfortable the moment I pulled in the drive way. I loved the hammock and the pool. The view of the winery right across the street and the sounds of the horse and carriages going by felt surreal. Bliss was everything we'd hoped for and more. We stayed for 2 nights for a couples mini-getaway. The house was of pristine cleanliness. Everything we needed was right there (towels, toiletries, cooking needs, linens, etc). Susan was there to greet us and showed us around upon check-in. She was informative and friendly. We felt at home right away. The location was wonderful. We were searching for peace, serenity and quiet and we got them all at Bliss. We would absolutely recommend Bliss to anyone. Susan is a wonderful host and we'd definitely return!

Susan is a phenomenal host! Bliss is the best place to stay in Cape May. Hands down. It's romantic, secluded, private, charming... Simply beautiful. This was our 3rd time visiting gorgeous Cape May. We stay at Bliss every time. Susan was nice enough, as per my request, to keep the outside jacuzzi open for us. That and the screened in porch make it an especially lovely place for any couple to really connect with each other. Jennifer and I LOVE this place. We are already discussing a Christmas 2016 or Winter 2017 trip. Obviously we will be doing a Spring, Summer & Fall 2017 trip as well. It's absolutely perfect for every season!

We had a great time, the home is comfy and airy, the yard is lovely, the location is convenient to what we wanted.

The home was comfortable for our five person family including our almost two year old. Everything worked as appropriate. The location close to the nature conservatory was beautiful. Dawn was responsive and was an easy to work with host. The house does show some wear but is very clean and very well maintained. We would stay here again.

Their home is lovely, spacious and very clean! The accommodations were comfortable with a nice area to relax after returning from sight seeing. Towels were provided and even toiletries in the "Oops I Forgot" basket. I would highly recommend a stay at Seas The Day in Cape May for its great accommodations but also because it is easily accessible to all attractions either by walking, riding bike and short drives including the beach, restaurants, wineries, etc.

Bill and Lori were so helpful when it came to any questions we had. They were wonderful and kind.

Sweet, comfy little house. Accommodated four comfortably. Comfortable beds. Close to everything. Nicely decorated and kitchen well stocked. We had too much rain to enjoy the screened-in porch and backyard but would be nice on a warm day. Hosts were very responsive and nice.

This house was a perfect place to spend three nights on a friends trip in Cape May NJ. We had a great time and have great memories that will last a life time. The home was clean, well decorated and comfortable. The screened in porch was a great place to relax and have a glass of wine. We used our vehicles to get around however we did enjoy the fact that there was only a short 10 minute walk to all the great restaurants and shops of Cape May. We loved our trip!

We had a quiet and amazing stay at cape may!!! We loved the place and the house as well. The place is really quiet and calm so its excellent to have a relaxing vacations! We really enjoyed!

Arrived late on our arrival day. Got the key from the lockbox, started to unload our car. Noticed right away that the kitchen was pretty dirty. Then we checked out the remaining parts of the house. We also walked into dirty bathrooms that we would not use until cleaned. We went to a CVS right up the street to get cleaning supplies. It took us about 1-2 hours to clean the place. The house was nice. Updated and for us a good location. Not right in the middle of the town but still walkable to the Mall and ocean. The house only has one TV in the main bedroom so if you have kids or extra guests it might be good to bring extra board games or activities to do. If you are bringing any pets it's very pet friendly. Nice new fenced in backyard and screen room. Our BNB rep was great to deal with and has refunded our cleaning fee. We do not believe this was in anyway her fault for the cleaning situation. She helped out a lot during the beginning of our stay trying to make it right. The cleaning situation was we believe a direct result to the listing agent and not keeping up with the rental properties and/or cleaning personnel/company. Next time we will definitely call ahead of time to make sure our rental is cleaned.

Loved the location...close to get to Sunset Beach and downtown. Spacious home with nice, fenced in yard for our furry family member.

House was as described in a quiet location within walking distance to beach, shops, and restaurants. Couldn't be beat and would definitely return when back to cape may again!

Yes !! Yes!! Yes!!️️️️ Perfect location. At night, with windows open, you can hear the ocean in the distance. In the morning the dog and I walked to the light house( about 2miles) . Cape may is the beach to go if you have small dog. Our dog was welcomed everywhere. House was a beach cottage with great amenities. All new appliances, new bathrooms, decorated with beach cottage feel. The cape may horses went by daily to and from the mall. The birds cape may is famous for where all around. The neighbors were friendly. Bike rentals are on the corner, cape may market with fresh muffins are within a short walk. The screened in deck allowed for early morning coffee and late glass of wine without bugs! A great breakfast place(Doc mikes) is the perfect destination for morning stroll. we only went for weekend in May, but felt like an entire week. This cottage welcomed us home after a long day collecting cape may diamonds or eating dinner at wonderful places( Mad batter). So click book, relax about your decision , and make some wonderful memories with your loved ones! This place is perfect!!

this house is very sweet, centrally located within walking distance of the little town. It's exactly as described, clean and inviting. we really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it!
