Cracow Station has a rich history, having been settled in 1851 seven years after the explorer Ludwig Leichhardt passed through the area. It has been owned by Sarah's family since 1903. Nearby Cracow township took its name from Cracow Station and was the scene of Australia's last goldrush in the early 1930s.
