In a quiet lane, just a pebble’s throw from the perfect, sandy beach of Porth, Wren’s Nest is a former sail loft which has been tastefully furnished and decorated and makes a wonderful coastal bolt hole to escape to. Quality hotel- grade bedding provided.
**OFF ROAD PARKING NOW AVAILABLE RIGHT NEXT TO THE BEACH** Leave the parking nightmare to others! Wrens Nest is a perfect example of an 18th century traditional Cornish fisherman's cottage- small but perfectly formed. They would have mended their nets with the boats pulled up outside and slept upstairs. It really is very small- think cabin-style but who cares with miles and miles of sandy beach and Atlantic coast outside. It's set just back from the beach, protected from winter storms in a little mews with 3 other cottages. There are 1.5 bedrooms upstairs- 1 standard double and 1 cabin style bed not suitable for a large adult (2'6 x 5'9) plus a double sofabed in the lounge. It's not recommended for 3 adults or very large adults. Important note re bathroom- It's old school. There is currently a small bathtub with enamel jug for rinsing off. No shower. There is a shower attachment but it's not very effective. We have always enjoyed this traditional cottage bathing experience but there have been a few comments from guests missing a shower. We are looking into this for the future.
Porth beach is safe and family-friendly, with a small coastal café, an excellent boutique and coffee shop, 2 traditional pubs (within 5 mins walk of the cottage) a deli up the road and world class restaurants nearby. Porth is perfectly placed on the North Coast between Padstow, Watergate Bay and Newquay. Padstow and Watergate Bay are sports and foodie hotspots. Less well-known- Newquay is undergoing a food renaissance with the arrival of Rick Stein and many new independent cafés and seafood restaurants. Watergate and Newquay's Fistral Beach are some of the best surfing spots in the UK and Watergate is also great for kiteboarding.

It's also just a stone's throw from Watergate Bay, home to Jamie Oliver's Fifteen and a good base from which to learn to surf or explore Cornwall's other treasures such as the Minack Theatre and the Eden Project. The apartment itself is laden with everything you need to make your holiday a fabulously easy one, with on-site parking, amazing sea views, TV, DVD player, WiFi, central heating, all linen and towels. The Living Space The open plan suite is fitted with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and chill out lounge overlooking Mawgan Porth's beautiful beach. Bedroom 1 (sleeps 2) A master double room overlooking the gurgling Menalhyl River. Bedroom 2 (sleeps 3) A bunk combination with double under and single on top enjoying a marvellous panorama of the countryside. The family shower room sits between the two bedrooms. Outside Areas Outdoors, there are two unique spaces to relax and enjoy the lush landscapes towards St Mawgan village and it's farms. The first allows al fresco picnic dining; the second making the perfect roof-spot for tanning and chilling. Up some steep steps is where the Beach Pad sits atop a busy seasonal restaurant serving the most delicious seafood and steaks as well as hearty breakfasts, steaming coffees, lounging lunches and sunset cocktails [as a Beach Pad guest you benefit from 10% discount on all food and drink throughout your stay!]

Built brand new for 2019, The Snug is a cosy self contained 1 bedroom chalet just 50 yards from the cliff tops. It’s a stones throw from Porth beach and the entrance to the legendary Porth Island, where locals and tourist alike gather with their cameras to capture that perfect sunset. Or borrow the Kayak’s for an evening paddle round the island. The Snugg itself is set into the rising hillside giving it the cosy and private feel its name suggests. Search Porth island drone on YouTube.
Cooking facilities are fairly basic, but there’s a microwave/oven combo, and a plug in counter top hob ready and waiting, so there’s everything you need to cook anything from a sneaky bit of toast or a roast dinner. Its primarily 1 bedroom accommodation, but a temporary bed ot travel cot can be provided to go in the living area for a child. The Snug has access the to the shared decking area on the back garden with panoramic views of the island and join use of the hot tub, but it also has its own small, well sheltered decking area right outside the front door. As shown in the pictures, there is table seating too.
The coastal footpath is just the other side of the road running from the island along the cliff top to the famous surfing beach at watergate bay. The sands resort is at the top of the hill and the gym, swimming pool and spar are all open to the public if you fancy some pampering. There is also an excellent physio in residence and a hair salon too. The Mermaid pub is a great place to eat, and has a good menu. It’s just 5 minutes walk. The rear of the pub actually opens out onto Porth beach.

The Lodge is well insulated to modern standards with double glazing and a wood burner, making it a very cosy off grid bolthole in the most extremes of winter weather. Situated yards away from the River Camel nestled in Cotton Wood SSI.
The Lodge sleeps 2 - 3 adults max or two adults and 2 children up to the age of 11. Sleeping arrangements are on two levels- a ground floor level and an upper bunk level. Ground Floor can sleep 2 people, either adult or children. You have the option of two single beds which can be configured to one large double if preferred. The Upper Bunk is 4′ x 6′ in size and is able to sleep 2 children or one adult. The pitched ceiling serves as a cozy den so we do suggest this is perfect for up to two children between the ages of 6 -11 years. Access is via a ladder. Please see the Lodge pictures. The nearest shop is a mile away with greater shopping and entertainment options 3 miles away along the Camel Trail in the old market town of Wadebridge. Cotton Wood is quite unique and therefore is not to everyone's taste. If you like nature, fishing, mountain biking, getting away from the crowds, or just being still for a while, Cotton Wood Lodge Hideaway could well be perfect for you! Camel Valley wines is across the valley and the Eden project is only 10miles away. The Camel cycle trail continues on from Wadebridge toward Padstow and the beaches beyond, (approximately 9 miles) or you can head inland toward Bodmin and Bodmin Moor along the easy grade cycle way.

If you really want to treat yourself, Jamie Oliver’s ‘15’ resteraunt is just 1.7 miles up coastal footpath... or around 5 minutes by car.

In spite of the apartment being modern, our gas and electric installations are checked every year, there are mains operated smoke sensors in every room, and a carbon monoxide sensor. The two bedroom windows are designed as a fire escape route so you have an easy get-out in an emergency.
The apartment is situated at the lower end of St Columb Major, known as Bridge. We are in a delightful conservation area, alongside the medieval church of St Columba. Agan Dyji has been created to provide you with a perfect flavour of Cornwall. Even though our cottage is over 100 years old and retains many original features including beams. It has light and airy rooms with a contemporary feel. We are proud of our Cornish heritage and love to show Cornwall off at its very best. Our cottage is easy to find and situated in mid Cornwall with many beautiful and historic Cornish gems on our doorstep. We have a lovely sunny courtyard space with bean bags and patio furniture and a shed that can accommodate bikes, wetsuits and surfboards. Set in the small hamlet of Trekenning, the Wren's Rest offers all your creature comforts . A self contained annex with an open plan kitchen / dining / living room , smart TV, two bedrooms ; one double and one single bedroom with an extra truckle bed. The bathroom has a WC and shower . There is a charming private garden with tables, chairs and a charcoal barbecue for alfresco dinning.
The Wren's Rest is set in a quiet and rural area however we are a 10 - 15 mins drive away from some of the best restaurants and cafe's on the North Coast such as: Fifteen, Scarlet , Retorrick Mill, Rick Stein's. For light lunches, The Bearded Brewery cider farm is on the door step and we highly recommend Town and Country in St Columb Major and Off The Path St Mawgan .

Grove Cottage (sleeps 2 + dog/s) is tucked away in a quiet corner of the conservation area in the small, friendly, historic market town of St Columb Major. Recently restored and refurbished to a high standard - it is compact, comfortable and has lots of character. The cottage has a conservatory, courtyard and off-road parking space. St Columb caters for day to day needs and is ideally located to explore all of Cornwall. The sea and surf are only 7 minutes away! A home from home all year round.
Grove Cottage is entirely self-contained with its own front door. It forms part of Grove House, a pretty and typically Cornish stone and slate Grade II listed Georgian town house. It has recently been restored and refurbished to a high standard together with the main house. During peak season, from approximately the start of May to the end of September and during other key weeks like the Easter and Christmas holidays, we only accept reservations of one or more weeks: Our changeover day is Friday and guests can arrive from 4pm onwards. Departure time is 10am on Fridays. From October to the end of April we offer stays of three nights or more. A 15% discount is applied to bookings of two weeks or more. Please let us know your approximate arrival time and we will try to be here to welcome you. If this is not possible, we will leave the cottage keys in the key safe and provide you with the access code - we will call in to say hi on our return. Grove Cottage is accessed through a light and sunny conservatory that leads into a compact and comfortable living space that includes a small kitchen and dining area. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with a generous 160cm wide bed. Next to the bedroom is a contemporary shower room. The cottage is entirely electric to make it independent from the main house. It has its own private courtyard with seating, views of the side garden and its own off-road parking space. We love dogs and are able to welcome up to two small dogs or one medium sized dog. We charge £30 per stay for a doggie guest and £10 extra for an additional doggie guest. The side garden is enclosed to help keep our doggie guests secure. We provide a dog bowl and dog treats on arrival to make our four legged guests feel equally welcome! We also offer mountain bike and surfboard hire and secure bike and surfboard storage. The cottage is cleaned on every changeover and towels are changed weekly. Please bring your own beach towels.
St Columb Major is a small, friendly, historic market town. The town centre is a 3 minute walk away and has a range of small shops and services catering for day to day needs: A Co-op convenience store, open from 7-11 every day, with an external cashpoint, a cafe, a butchers, pet shop, Post Office, an antiques and vintage shop, Boots with pharmacy, doctors' surgery, dentist, vets, garage, fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway, four pubs and various other shops and services. The small industrial estate at the other end of town is home to two very popular large surf stores. From Grove Cottage there is a beautiful 2 hour walk to Mawgan Porth Beach that starts on a quiet country lane, followed by footpaths through the wooded Carnanton Estate and open countryside. The picturesque village of St Mawgan, with its pretty tearoom and pub, is conveniently situated at the half-way point. National Cycle Route 32 (Part of The Cornish Way Cycle Route from Land's End to Bude.) passes through St Columb Major, directly past Grove House. St Columb Major is ideally located to explore the whole of Cornwall. It is only a 7 minute drive to the dramatic North Coast and the surf. Newquay, the surf centre of the UK, and Padstow, with its food and restaurant culture, are both approximately a 15 minute drive away. The Eden Project, Truro, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Bodmin Moor, St Ives with its Tate Gallery, miles of protected coastline both on the North and South Coasts and numerous National Trust properties are all within easy reach.

Hill Head Farm is just off the Atlantic highway A39 Wadebridge and Padstow are only 6 miles away. The stunning beach of Mawgan Porth only 10 mins drive. The Eden project is also nearby. One Double Bedroom with en-suite. Children's loft room has two single beds with tv, xbox and wifi. The cottage has a sofa bed in the lounge if needed. The holiday let is new built in the last 2 yrs Everything you need for a long weekends or weeks holiday.
Large paddock to walk dogs. Outside decking with outside shower! BBQ area summer months only .
Nice area close to St Columb and Newquay. Some road noise can be heard from A39 outside cottage. Nice 6 mile walk to the beach in stunning countryside

Lovely modernised, cool cottage
Cool in the summer, warm in the winter, old malt house that has been beautifully modernised.
On a quiet street 200 yards from the centre of St Columb which is a very small town with a great community feel. The old town still retains a co-op that opens to 10:00, launderette and takeaways. The cottage has a pub (the Ring of Bells) on the door step that does great food plus three other pubs are also in the town. The Ring of Bells (the Ringers) is very much a food pub, its not open late and only very occasionally has its patrons ever been an issue.

Idea place for a couple to see North Cornwall. Padstow is only 8 miles. Local beach is 10 mins drive. Right on the Atlantic Highway. We are close to the main road so there is some traffic noise. We have a large paddock that guests can walk the dog.
Lots of off street parking WiFi and Tv. Very cosy cabin , gas central heating for the winter nights. Full kitchen with gas cooker. Microwave toaster kettle etc. Lovely large shower with aqua panel walls . Everything is brand new just finished in October 2019 Also has a small sofa bed if another person needs to stay . Dogs welcome..
Padstow is 10 mins drive. Newquay is also 10 mins away. Wadebridge is 8 miles where you can go on the camel run bike ride . Close to watergate bay , Mawgan Porth , Porth and bedruthan steps .

Situated in North-Cornwall on our organic smallholding, close to the coast with lots of great walks nearby and handy for all local attractions. Watergate Bay, a spectacular 2 mile surfing beach is 15 minutes away... why not try your hand at some watersports or enjoy a bite to eat, or walk this section of the Cornish coast line. Mawgan Porth beach is about 10 minutes away, with a great selection of pop-up style food outlets.... in fact we are spoilt for choice with beaches, you could visit a different one each day! Or pop to Padstow for a walk around the harbour, renowned for its fantastic places to eat from Rick Steins famous Seafood Restaurant to family bistros and welcoming pubs. A woodland walk from our farm takes you to St Mawgan, a picturesque Cornish village with the most lovely local pub, The Falcon, and tearooms.... the possibilities are endless!

Located in Padstow and situated next to an old farm, this delightful cottage has its own paddock with ducks and chickens roaming free. The interior is modern yet cosy, and a mezzanine level is kitted out with an Xbox making it a great place for kids to unwind and have some down time in. The contemporary kitchen is well equipped with everything that guests would need in order to whip up some fabulous meals for the family, and the centrally located dining table with seating means cooking dinner can be a family affair. The family bathroom is generously sized and has both a bath and a shower with the large master bedroom having its own modern en-suite. Hill Head View also welcomes two pets which means that dog owners get to enjoy their Cornish break with their furry friends by their side. The property is just off the main road which means that some traffic noise can be heard, however this does not detract from the lovely rural setting of this property which is ideally situated for family days out.

Lovely cosy cottage with 2 double bedrooms, set within a listed Georgian building. The cottage has it's own entrance from Union Square and is centrally located within the ancient market town of St Columb Major. Close to the beaches of Newquay and the North Coast and good access to the major trunk roads. Both bedrooms have double beds and share a bathroom with shower over the bath. The contemporary white gloss kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle.
The cottage has 2 double bedrooms upstairs and a full bathroom with shower over the bath. Downstairs is the kitchen and open plan living and dining area. The TV is wall mounted and offers Freeview channels and has an integrated DVD player too. Parking at the front and rear of the building is limited to 2 hours during the daytime but evenings and weekends is unrestricted. Nearby is plenty of unrestricted parking, including long term car parks. There are a couple of lovely new cafes recently opened which are close by and plenty of pubs! Very friendly local community too :)
St Columb is an ancient market town full of interesting buildings - most of them are listed and there are some very quaint wobbly old houses in the centre of the town, along with a beautiful church. Nearby is Castle-an-Dinas - an Iron Age hilltop Fort with connections to King Arthur. Also, the Nine Maidens Stone Row, the largest stone formation in Cornwall is situated about 2 miles north of the town. The beautiful beaches of North Cornwall are all within a short drive. Newquay to the south is around 6 miles, with Watergate Bay about a 10 minute drive and the Padstow beaches are around 15 minutes away. Newquay airport is less than 10 minutes by car.

Off the beaten track yet just 3 miles from Padstow... Quiet & cosy single storey cottage with double bedroom, bathroom & open plan kitchen/dining/living area. Small 2nd bedroom has narrow 2'6" built-in bunks (suitable for kids only). Situated just behind our house on The Saints Way, surrounded rolling Cornish countryside. St Issey is located 3 miles from the beautiful fishing port of Padstow, a foodie heaven. The famous "7 Bays for 7 days" & the Camel Trail are all within 12 minutes drive. Wi-fi
The cottage has a cosy, open-plan living/dining/kitchen with electric cooker & microwave. There is a king size double bedroom & small bunk room. The bunks are 2'6" wide (normal single beds are 3") so really suitable for children only, though small adults have stayed in them. There is a large bathroom with bath with shower over & a washing machine. The cottage is centrally heated with radiators. We finally have Wi-Fi too!
The cottage is just behind our house, but has it's own drive way. We're on one side of a river valley (well a stream valley!) & there are lovely views across the fields to St Issey church. We're off the beaten track but can be in the centre of Padstow within 5 minutes.

Close to Porth Beach and Chester Road shopping precinct. There is no carbon monoxide alarm,as no gas connection. There are however, the necessary fire alarms and extinguishers.
Chalet with combined living and sleeping space for one. Galley kitchen and separate SHOWER room. Desk for laptop-ready work space and good wifi signal. There is no TV in the chalet.
This is situated in a friendly neighbourhood about 1 mile from Newquay town centre. Porth beach is a 5 minute walk away, down a fairly steep hill.

No. 6 is on the top floor of the building (2nd floor), which is accessed via a turning staircase. It offers a double bedroom with a sofabed in the lounge. Microwave, toaster and kettle in the kitchen. Electric hob and oven, and fridge, fully equipped from glasses to bakeware. Ideal for couples but also suitable for people who travel for work. Wifi is complimentary Really good access for the major trunk roads and Newquay airport.
St Columb is an ancient town, full of quirky listed buildings, with a lovely church at the centre and surrounded by cuntryside. Just a few steps away is the local co-op which is well stocked with provisions ad not too expensive. There is a lovely tiny little cafe also a few steps away - Town & Country - which offers lovely breakfasts, all home cooked and recommended! There are several pubs, including the Ring O'Bells, which looks really tiny from the outside but is much larger once inside. They offer good quality pub food, with decent portions too. There is also a chinese takeway, fish & chip shop and a laundry

The cottage is over 200 years old it is light and airy with a homely feel. Guests will have access to the lounge kitchen and garden the garden is south facing. Parking is available on the village green to the front of the house or there is on site parking .
My home is a 200 year old detached cottage set in walled gardens. The house is Cornish granite under a slate roof. It's homely rustic light and airy. There is a farmhouse style kitchen and an airy living area with a walk in inglenook fire place to one end . Guests can use the kitchen lounge gardens and bathrooms . This room is a single room which can be reserved either on a minimum 2 night stay or when booked with another room . Free WI-FI
I live in North Cornwall in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Although some may consider us in a rural location we are only ten minutes from the A30 . Padstow Newquay Eden Project Bodmin are all about 8 miles away . My home for the last 22 years I love the peace and tranquility especially after a long day at work.

Set in the heart of the north Cornwall countryside, this little hideaway is perfect for a getaway for two. This cute cabin is fully insulated and beautifully redecorated in 2019. Set in its own little space, the cabin has a lovely outdoor space, complete with pond. There is plenty of parking. As you can see from the photographs, Hawk's Nest sits in its own grounds, which can allow for a quiet and secluded get away in beautiful surroundings
We have always maintained very high standards of hygeine, but with the current Covid 19 outbreak we are very conscious of deep cleaning the accommadation after every stay. Cleaning products, including anti-bacterial spray are available in the cabin at all times. All bedding and towels are washed at 60 degrees. We understand if you wish to bring your own bedding and towels please inform us prior to arrival. (double bed) Complimentary tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits are available on arrival. The brand new bathroom has a lovely hot shower. The kitchen area, has a fridge, 2 ring cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle. If you bring bikes, we have secure storage and if you fancy cooking outside, we have a BBQ you can use. The cabin has one double bed, but if you are a larger group, you are welcome to camp out on the lawn and share the facilities or bring your camper. Cost per person is £10 for this option.
Our cabin is just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Cornish town of Wadebridge, which is bursting with independent shops and eateries. It is also just 2 miles from the famous Camel trail linking Wadebridge to Padstow and the picturesque sandy beaches, and less than a mile from Strong Adolfos, which arguably serve the best coffee and cake in North Cornwall!

An end of terrace grade 2 listed workmans cottage in the conservation area of St. Columb Major, close to Newquay, Wadebridge and Padstow. Fantastic access by road (A30, A38, A39), Rail (nearest station St. Columb Road, 2.5 miles), Air ( Newquay Airport 3 miles). There are several pubs in the village and a lovely tearoom, and local shops including a butchers and a Co-op. Close to the wonderful beaches of Watergate Bay, Bedruthan Steps & Mawgan Porth and within easy reach of Eden Project.
A cosy 200 year old cottage with open fires but with the modern additions of central heating, hot water and wifi. All bedrooms have deep mattresses and thick mattress toppers to give all guests a wonderful nights sleep. The sitting room has a blu ray / dvd player so you can bring your favourite films to watch. On those chilly evenings light the fire and warm your toes. The rear porch houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Between Wadebridge and Newquay, is the large village St Columb Major. Providing shops and other amenities to the local area, the village has some fine old houses and its pub, the Ring O'Bells, offers a range of ales as well as food in its restaurant. The church of St Colomba is large and built of Pentewan and Caen stone with an impressive tower. Inside there is a 17th century letter of thanks to the Cornish people from King Charles I. Each year this is one of only two remaining places which practise Hurling the Silver Ball, an ancient game which was once common throughout the county and played on Shrove Tuesday, the other being St Ives. Local shops board up windows as a scrum forms mid-afternoon between the "countrymen" and the "townsmen" and the teams pass the silver ball between member hurlers until they reach their respective goal, set two miles apart at opposite parish boundaries. The winners share beer which has been 'blessed' by the ball. Nearby is one of the best-preserved Iron Age hill forts in the county, Castle-an-Dinas. The area is also in the heart of Poldark country with much of the filming locations local to St Columb.

Our annex is small but perfectly formed and offers a little piece of the Cornish countryside to guests looking to explore Cornwall. Ruthvose is centrally located. The annex is away from the main house and accommodates two easily with a double bedroom on the first floor and an open plan kitchen living room on the ground floor. There is a private outdoor space, ample parking and a quiet rural location while being roughly 15 minutes from the north coast towns of Padstow, Newquay and Wadebridge.
The annex is completely self contained and away from the main house. Facing away from our view and the annex patio is completely private.
The neighbourhood is very quiet, a small very quaint Cornish hamlet. We are very centrally located in Cornwall, equal distance to both coasts and north to south Cornwall, making us ideal for exploring Cornwall. We are located just off the A30 for easy access for your stay. Close by is the Eden project, Newquay, Padstow, Truro, Wadebridge, Rock, Polzeath and St Austell.

This is a beautiful peaceful room, set in a traditional Cornish house, with large sash window to the front which lets in the morning light. The house is set in the middle of mid-cornwall so is perfect for exploring Cornwall! Watergate Bay is the nearest beach (15mins) and Newquay and Padstow are 20min drive.
St Columb is a very traditional Cornish market town, a complete world away from the main tourist towns! Locals are friendly and welcoming, and the town has a nice little buzz but mainly pretty peaceful, surrounded by countryside.
