Experience staying in a heritage inspired cottage in the character suburb of Red Hill, Brisbane. The Vale gloriously sits at the rear of the original grocers store that was built in 1870 and is now a cafe. The Vale is over two levels, bedrooms upstairs, a cook's kitchen, balconies and a lounge room with fireplace down. The cottage is perfect for up to six guests and is a great event space. Pricing is per person. Additional fees for parties, as well location fees for photoshoots and filming.
The Vale is a heritage setting and has an old world charm. The fireplace is operational and creates a lovely ambience in the cooler months. The location is 50% booked by photographers and filmmakers because of the uniqueness of not only the building but the carefully curated furnishings that brings about that 1800's feel. It backs onto our cafe through a shared courtyard and has its own separate entry for privacy.
The area is early Brisbane with the houses quite close to each other. So noise and privacy are big factors to consider when staying with us. (No big birthday bashes sorry) There is a bus line running into the city only 200 meters away and our cafe is open 7 days a week from 7am to 2pm.

If you have time for extra activities, there are two pools and a gym on site for your enjoyment.
My partner and I live here with our 2 cats, we both work full-time and will generally be out of your way during your stay. However, we are always available for any questions that you may have.

Restaurants of all kinds in walking distance. 8 mins from the city. Very quiet area.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (small dogs to 10kgs) for others please request.
Public transport at top of the street. 8 mins to the city central. Walking to Suncorp Stadium and Ballymore sports parks Restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Plantation Red Hill is actually the 2nd oldest house in Red Hill. We have tried to maintain the heritage look. Very quiet area. Undulating hills all around Red Hill..very pretty but some of them can be quite steep.

This room has a queen bed with linen, desk, chair, book shelf and wardrobe. The house is fully equipped with fully stocked kitchen, internet, ceiling fans in each bedroom and plenty of linen to keep you warm in winter. It is a traditional Queensland timber house which means it is a bit rickety. It just adds to the experience of visiting Queensland! There is no off-street parking. We have two council permits for visitors to park on the street.

My unit is close to Brisbane city centre, Roma Street train station and South Bank. The unit is fully self contained with a kitchenette, a queen bed in the bedroom, a pull out sofa in the lounge room and two bathrooms. For those travelling on business, it is close to the Brisbane convention centre and CBD. For football fans, it's walking distance to Suncorp Stadium There is also a pool :) Please note - the view is not spectacular. It is of the roof top of the building next door and mountains.
The unit is located in the Park Regis building - a prime spot for holiday makers and those travelling on business or for the football

My place is close to the city centre, bus stop and Roma Street Train Station. From the verandah, the views are fabulous in a northerly direction. The place is suitable for individuals or couples​​. You’ll love my place because of the great location, leafy surrounds and wonderful view.
There is a great view from the verandah which is lovely to relax on during the morning or afternoon.

This bright apartment combines floor-to-ceiling windows and sleek touches for a hip, pared-back feel.
    This apartment lets the natural light flow in. It’s painted a delicious, fresh white that allows the rooms to flow easily into each other. It is bigger than most new build one bedrooms (URL HIDDEN) .In fact it has really good bones. The kitchen is high spec. Because we love cooking with local produce when we travel, we made sure that the kitchen has everything that is needed to cook an elaborate meal...if that’s what takes your fancy. Otherwise it’s an easy to use space for a quick breakfast, to fix snacks or to create an evening cocktail to enjoy while sitting on the patio in comfortable acapulco chairs. The King Koil mattress in the bedroom is complemented by luxurious manchester so as to ensure a blissful sleeping experience. We have left as much of the apartment’s original features and character as possible.     There are so many spaces to access in the house. The beautiful spacious front veranda is a great space to have a cup of coffee or a lovely glass (or two ) of red on a balmy evening. Looking out onto the palm trees, watching the bats fly over and possums making their way out for the night. Feel free to join me in the kitchen or go at it yourself, just noting all food brought in is to be plant based. The gardens below are green and cool with a table setting and fire pit. Being on the ridge top you don't have any (famous Paddington) hills to walk up and down and you have great views. This self contained apartment takes up half (the back half) of a classic hundred year old workers cottage in Paddington. The front of the cottage is a daytime only business and shop (Forde's Physiotherapy and Pilates) and we do not live on the premises (but we are only a couple of streets away). The apartment is accessed through the front door at street level. The apartment has a separate bedroom with queen size bed, an open plan kitchen, dinning and living space with a sofa bed for extra guests, a separate bathroom and wheelchair access at the front door. It is a modern renovation with a touch of retro to fit this classic Paddington style home.     This area is perfect for just an overnight or short stay for guests passing through Brisbane or on their way home by air. With normal traffic conditions it's about 25 minutes by taxi/Uber to the airport. Just note that if you are walking from the station or bus stop, there’s a very steep hill to walk up, not good on a hot day!It’s difficult with a big bag because the footpath also runs out. Just let me know if you are arriving this way and I may be able to pick you up.
    The space is small, but very light filled and has a very private porch directly outside with views of the garden. We do not supply breakfast as such, but there’s a Nespresso machine, toaster, microwave, small fridge and kettle. There is also milk, tea , coffee pods and banana bread or a lovely cafe an easy walk away called “Brisbean”. The garden itself is accessible and pleasant to take a walk around with a pond, chicken house and possibly two little friendly, curious Pomeranians to keep you company ! We also welcome your dog if he/she is small and well behaved. They are allowed inside the room as small dogs are usually used to being inside and there is a grass area just outside for them to do their business. We would appreciate it if you picked up the doo doos because others including ourselves also use that area ! The area is fenced so there is no problem with escapees. We keep our dogs separate if you do bring yours, it is just quieter and safer for all .
    Our neighbourhood is quiet, leafy, family and dog friendly, perfect for taking a walk around if you don't mind hills ! There are great views of the city to be had and breezes in the evenings.
