Dove Cottage’s front door opens into the living room. The open plan downstairs contains the following rooms: Living room: Full of character, this room contains exposed beams and a stone fireplace with a wood burning stove. There is a two seater sofa, two armchairs, and a Smart TV with a Blu-ray/DVD/CD player; Kitchen/dining room: Accessed directly from the living room, this well presented room contains a double electric oven, four ring ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, small freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is also a stylish glass dining table, which comfortably seats four. Stairs lead up from the living room to the small first floor landing, off which are the following rooms: Bedroom 1: A lovely room with attractive rural views, which contains a double bed; Family bathroom: Contains a bath with handheld shower attachment, heated towel rail, wash basin and toilet. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom; A door on the first floor landing leads to a second, steep stairway to the second floor bedroom: Bedroom 2: A lovely eaves room, which can be set up as either two single beds or a king size bed.     Oyster Barn sits in the grounds of the owner’s property. The main entrance to the cottage is via a stable door into the kitchen, with the well laid out ground floor containing the following rooms: Living room: A stylish and bright room, with a wealth of character features, including an exposed Cotswold stone alcove leading to the kitchen, oak beams, a traditional wooden settle, and a feature stone fireplace with wood burning stove. Two sofas provide plenty of comfortable seating, and there is a large Smart TV plus a DVD player, plus a selection of books, toys and games. Wooden French doors lead directly out to the patio area in front of the cottage; Kitchen/dining area: Accessed from the living room via the Cotswold stone alcove, the country style kitchen is beautifully presented, with maps illustrating walks and other local areas of interest, and is equipped with a double electric oven, four ring ceramic hob, fridge, slimline dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetiere. There is a dining table with seating for six, and a stable door opens onto the patio area outside. Stairs lead up from the living room to the first floor landing, off which are the following rooms: Bedroom 1: A beautiful, well proportioned eaves room, with exposed beams, which contains a king size bed and a wall mounted Freeview TV and DVD player. There is an ensuite bathroom, which contains a free standing bath with handheld shower attachment, walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin; Bedroom 2: Another lovely eaves room, with exposed beams, which contains either a king size bed or two 75cm wide single beds. There is also a mounted Freeview TV and DVD player, and a built in wardrobe; Wet room: Conveniently located adjacent to bedroom 2, this bathroom contains a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin. A freezer is provided in the garage which is exclusive for guests to use. The open patio area outside the cottage faces the owner's property, and has a table with seating for four. The Oyster Barn garden is separate from the property and is located just past the log store. Beautiful wooden steps lead up to the attractive main garden comprising of a fenced patio area with a garden table and chairs plus a barbecue, in addition there is a small grassed orchard area with a nice wooden seat and a drinks rest. The garden has lovely views of the owners’ garden and surrounding countryside and is the perfect place to relax. Two off street parking spaces are available, with one space in an open garage attached to the property and a further allocated space on the driveway - the owners have access to the garage, where tools and gardening equipment for the property are stored.

This room has two sofas, a coffee table, a Freeview TV and DVD player. There is also a dining table and two chairs; Kitchen: The galley kitchen contains an electric oven with four-ring hob, a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetière, as well as a washing machine/tumble dryer; Bedroom: Two steps lead down from the hallway into this characterful room with sloped ceilings, a king size bed and built-in cupboards for storage; Bathroom: Contains a bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin. Walks and cycle routes around the estate and local area Pet Farm animals live in the paddocks opposite the pods - goats, donkeys, alpaca and a pig - they love you to visit them during your stay.
    Notgrove Estate is one of the few remaining privately owned Cotswold estates offering 1500 acres of private rolling farmland. We have mapped out walks, around the estate and local area and can recommend longer walks if required. Our working farm has sheep and cattle as well as our pet goats, donkeys and alpaca who live just across the track from the pods . You can hire bikes from the local company via our website. We are ideally located to visit the local attractions of Bourton on the Water (3 miles) Stow on the Wold (5 miles) or Burford, Stratford Upon Avon, Cheltenham. Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park is a 15 minute drive away and The Cotswold Wildlife Park is a 25 drive away. Bourton on the Water is 3 miles down the road and has many Cotswold wonders such as Birdland, The Model Railway and the Miniature Village - as well as lovely cafes and shops. The local pub is The Plough at Cold Aston, this is a 1.5 miles walk from us across the fields or down a quiet lane - with lovely food and beers. Or The Black Horse at Naunton is also a lovely village pub with great pub food and a cosy atmosphere.
    The Notgrove Estate is a 1500 acre family run working farm owned by Harry and Diana Acland. Set high up in the Cotswold Hills it has 400 acres of grassland in deep valleys and 100 acres of woodland and rolling arable fields. The farm has a mix of sheep, cattle and arable and has diversified with two horse livery yards and a holiday cottage business. In the last few years Harry and Diana have put in new foot and bridle paths and entered into a wildlife conservation scheme planting 200 acres of special plots planted with wild bird mixes, corn bunting mixes, pollen and nectar mixes for bees and beetle banks that promotes the preservation of our natural wild birds. The scenery changes with each season as does the pattern of farming; we have an abundance of lambs and calves in spring, harvest in summer, colourful autumn leaves and dramatic winters, often with snow.

    The main door of the building opens into a communal lobby and The Sanctuary’s front door opens into a hallway, off which are the following rooms, all with underfloor heating: Living/dining room/kitchen: This smart open plan living space has been finished to a high standard with wooden floors and a high west-facing window which floods the living area with natural light. There is a sofa bed, a Smart TV with access to Netflix and a DVD player. An extendable wooden table with seating for four divides the living area and kitchen, and the latter has Shaker-style units and is equipped with an electric oven, four-ring induction hob, fridge, toaster, kettle, cafetière, water filter and dishwasher; Cloakroom: Contains a toilet and wash basin. Stairs lead up from the hallway into the master bedroom. The following rooms are on the first floor, both with underfloor heating: Master bedroom: This unique room has a stunning church window and a glass balcony overlooking the living area below. This room contains either two single beds or a king size bed, an elegant chest of drawers, a mirror, a writing desk with a comfy chair and radio; Family bathroom: This stunning space is dominated by the original floor-to-ceiling stone arched window, complemented by smart flooring and stylish tiles. It contains a walk-in rain shower with handheld shower attachment, toilet and wash basin. There is free on-street parking a short walk from the property, and there are pay and display options close by if needed.
    Located in the north Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold is one of the principal market towns in the region. The main feature of the town is the historic market square which used to play host to the annual sheep fairs where, at the height of the Cotswold wool industry, up to 20,000 sheep were sold at one time. The market square is steeped in history and has two features which date back to the medieval period. At one end of the square there is the medieval cross which was erected to urge traders to carry out fair business under the eyes of God, and at the far end stand the town stocks which are found in the shadows of the old elm tree. Originally known as Edwardstow or Stow St Edward after the town's patron saint Edward, the town's church is also named after him. The church is just 100 yards from the town square and is a lovely place for locals and tourists alike to get some peace from the bustling market square. The north door is guarded by two yew trees and is a focal point of the town. Stow has traditional narrow alleyways, or "tures" as they were once known, which wind their way through the centre of the town. It is these same alleyways that were once used to channel the sheep to the fair. Another point of interest in the town is the well in Well Lane which is now a Grade II Listed Building. As a result of the rather unique geology of the area, water held in the higher layers of the limestone bursts out of various fissures on the slopes and two do still work as wells now. Food & Drink Stow has numerous places to eat and drink, with a range of cuisines and prices to suit all tastes and budgets. Here locals mix with tourists who are unsurprisingly attracted into this lovely old pub. There is a wood-fired oven in the restaurant, where you can watch your freshly made pizza cook; The Talbot: Laid back drinking, eating and coffees in a traditional meeting place for the town slap bang in the Square. Sofas, original paintings, rickety old tables and chairs, with staff who are under the threat of death if they are not friendly! White Hart (www.thewhitehartstow.com): A 'boutique' style Inn, which has recently been beautifully refurbished throughout. The Inn boasts two cosy bars, lots of open fires and an atmospheric dining room. Hearty food is served during the day, with finer dining in the evening. All food is sourced locally and prepared on the premises; The Bell (www.thebellatstow.com): The Bell at Stow is the perfect country pub. Behind the ivy-clad façade lies a charming, stylish interior with the warmest of welcomes. A favourite with the locals, The Bell is open all day every day offering everything from a pint of well-kept cask ale through to a delicious three-course supper. Court Hayes was originally two cottages, which have been lovingly restored, to create a large and interesting two bedroomed property. The Cotswold stone cottage sits in the picturesque and peaceful village of Wyck Rissington, across the road from the 800 year old St Laurence's church, where the famous composer, Gustav Holst, was the resident organist between 1892 and 1893. Court Hayes is perfectly placed for exploring the Cotswolds, whether by car or on foot, and is close to the beautiful market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. The river is fed from many springs, with the source approximately ten miles from the village and, after flowing under the bridges of Bourton, it passes other villages before eventually joining the Thames. There are various attractions in the village, including the famous Birdland, which is home to a variety of birds from around the world. Here visitors can see parrots, pelicans, flamingos and penguins to name just a few, with experienced keepers feeding the birds and leading demonstrations. The Model Village is well worth a visit, as Bourton is the only village in the Cotswolds to have a one-ninth scale replica of itself. It is carefully maintained and has all of the characterful buildings including the Old Water Mill and the Old New Inn. Those lucky enough to witness snow in the winter months will notice photographers at the model village trying to get the perfect picture of the snowy scene.     The Chapel is located in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold. A blue door at the bottom of the clock tower opens into a lobby area which is shared with neighbouring apartments. The Chapel’s front door opens into a stunning entrance hall, off which are the following rooms: Living/dining room: This bright and stylish open plan living area has an extensive collection of wall art and a beautiful glass lantern roof over the dining area. There is a sofa and two armchairs positioned around a beautiful trunk serving as the coffee table, as well as a console table with Freeview TV, a Blu-ray DVD player, digital radio and Bluetooth connector. The lovely wooden dining table comfortably seats four guests; Kitchen: This well-equipped space is perfect for home cooking and features an electric oven with four-ring electric hob, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, kettle and toaster. A small round breakfast bar with two stools is located in the corner of the kitchen; Cloakroom: Contains a toilet and wash basin. Stairs lead up from the entrance hall to the first floor landing, which has a closet for additional storage space.     Located in the north Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold is one of the principal market towns in the region. The main feature of the town is the historic market square which used to play host to the annual sheep fairs where, at the height of the Cotswold wool industry, up to 20,000 sheep were sold at one time. The market square is steeped in history and has two features which date back to the medieval period. At one end of the square there is the medieval cross which was erected to urge traders to carry out fair business under the eyes of God, and at the far end stand the town stocks which are found in the shadows of the old elm tree. Originally known as Edwardstow or Stow St Edward after the town's patron saint Edward, the town's church is also named after him. The church is just 100 yards from the town square and is a lovely place for locals and tourists alike to get some peace from the bustling market square. The north door is guarded by two yew trees and is a focal point of the town. Stow has traditional narrow alleyways, or "tures" as they were once known, which wind their way through the centre of the town. It is these same alleyways that were once used to channel the sheep to the fair. Another point of interest in the town is the well in Well Lane which is now a Grade II Listed Building. As a result of the rather unique geology of the area, water held in the higher layers of the limestone bursts out of various fissures on the slopes and two do still work as wells now. Food & Drink Stow has numerous places to eat and drink, with a range of cuisines and prices to suit all tastes and budgets.     Middle Gable The Old Hall is accessed via its garden, which leads to the beautiful wooden front door. Inside the house, a small entrance hall leads into: Living room: A grand room, which has been newly refurbished in a traditional style, enhancing the abundance of period features, including stone mullion windows, a large fireplace with wood-burning stove, wooden beams and a centuries old alcove. The refurbishment includes a limestone flagged floor, with underfloor heating, and the provision of a flat screen satellite TV and Blu-ray home theatre system with an iPod docking station. The living room then leads into the Inner Hall, which in turn leads to: Shower room: Contains a shower, basin and toilet; Kitchen/dining room: The kitchen is well equipped, including a cooker with hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washer dryer. There is a good sized dining table, with five chairs, and the layout of the room ensures that all guests can socialise whilst cooking is in progress. The apartment is close to the Cotswold Farm Park, located in the grounds of a 48 acre livery business, the apartment has fantastic views across the lawns, to the horses in the paddocks and beyond. This apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and is decorated to give it a Cotswold farmhouse feel, it has it's own entrance, with off street parking & is dog friendly.
    There are beautiful countryside views with horses in the paddocks. I have several dogs which live in the main house with me and at the stables are horses, ducks, turkeys and chickens.
    Direct access to walking tracks and bridle ways Approx 3 miles from Stow-on-the-wold, Bourton-on-the-water and The Slaughters. 15miles from Cheltenham. Very close to the Cotswold Farm Park.     Whitsun Cottage’s front door opens into the dining room. The ground floor rooms are: Living room: A stylish room, with wooden floors, an exposed stone fireplace with wood burning stove, leather sofa and armchairs. Including a comfy foot stool, the living room can seat six people. There is also a Freesat flat screen TV and DVD player. French doors lead out from the living room to the courtyard garden; Dining room: Contains an abundance of character features, including wooden floors and beams, an exposed stone fireplace with wood burning stove, window seat and wall alcoves. This beautiful room has a large oak dining table, with seating for six. There is also a digital radio, with iPod dock; Kitchen: A well equipped kitchen, containing a dishwasher, four ring electric hob, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine and tumble dryer. A stable door leads out from the kitchen into the courtyard garden. A staircase, with a beautiful oak stair-rail, leads up from the dining room to the first floor landing, off which are the following rooms: Bedroom 1: Contains a double bed and plentiful wardrobe space; Bedroom 2: Contains two 75cm wide single beds; Bathroom 1: Contains a bath with shower attachment, toilet and basin; Bathroom 2: Contains a shower, toilet and basin. The large landing space contains a day bed and a trundle bed, both of which can be set up, if required, to enable the cottage to sleep up to six guests. To the rear of the cottage is a small, fully enclosed courtyard garden, with an outdoor table and chairs, and a barbecue during the warmer months. Sheltered from the wind, this is a very pleasant space to sit outside and relax in.

The main feature of the town is the historic market square which used to play host to the annual sheep fairs where, at the height of the Cotswold wool industry, up to 20,000 sheep were sold at one time. The market square is steeped in history and has two features which date back to the medieval period. At one end of the square there is the medieval cross which was erected to urge traders to carry out fair business under the eyes of God, and at the far end stand the town stocks which are found in the shadows of the old elm tree. Originally known as Edwardstow or Stow St Edward after the town's patron saint Edward, the town's church is also named after him. The church is just 100 yards from the town square and is a lovely place for locals and tourists alike to get some peace from the bustling market square.   • Encantadora caseta bonica en una ubicació ideal a poca distància a peu de tots els pubs i botigues a peu a l’aigua. La casa rural està molt ben decorada i les habitacions són de bona mida. El 1 bany és una mica ajustat, però va estar bé, ja que només hi vam estar 3 nits. Els amfitrions van respondre ràpidament a qualsevol pregunta que jo tingués. Stow és molt menys turístic que altres pobles que vam visitar, però encara té una bona selecció de pubs i restaurants. Sens dubte em quedaria aquí de nou.

    The front door of Pear Tree Cottage is accessed from a quiet lane and opens into the cottage's dining room. The following rooms are on the ground floor: Living room: This lovely room is full of traditional character, including exposed Cotswold stone walls, oak beams and a cosy wood burning stove. There is comfortable seating for six and a flatscreen TV with a DVD player; Dining room: As well as exposed Cotswold stone walls, oak beams, a lovely window seat and an ornamental inglenook fireplace, the dining room also contains the original well for the cottage, which can be viewed through a secure glass window in the floor. There is a solid wood dining table, with seating for six; Kitchen: Fully refitted in 2015, the galley style kitchen contains a double electric oven, four ring gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine and tumble dryer; Bathroom: Installed in 2015 to provide additional bathroom facilities, this room contains a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin. Stairs lead up from the dining room to the first floor landing, off which are the following rooms: Bedroom 1: With lovely oak beams and a traditional ledge and brace door, this room contains a king size bed and a wash basin; Bedroom 2: Also with oak beams and a lovely wooden door, this bedroom contains two single beds and a wash basin; Family bathroom: Contains a bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin.     Bourton-on-the-Water is arguably one of the most popular villages of the Cotswolds, especially amongst overseas visitors. Having been nicknamed the "Venice of the Cotswolds", its scenery is the main draw for travellers. The River Windrush meanders through beautiful English countryside before passing over rapids next to the Old Mill and arriving at Bourton. The river is fed from many springs, with the source approximately ten miles from the village and, after flowing under the bridges of Bourton, it passes other villages before eventually joining the Thames. There are various attractions in the village, including the famous Birdland, which is home to a variety of birds from around the world. Here visitors can see parrots, pelicans, flamingos and penguins to name just a few, with experienced keepers feeding the birds and leading demonstrations. The Model Village is well worth a visit, as Bourton is the only village in the Cotswolds to have a one-ninth scale replica of itself. It is carefully maintained and has all of the characterful buildings including the Old Water Mill and the Old New Inn. Those lucky enough to witness snow in the winter months will notice photographers at the model village trying to get the perfect picture of the snowy scene.

    The Cotswolds are characterised by attractive small towns and villages, built of the underlying Cotswold stone (a yellow oolitic limestone). In the Middle Ages the wool trade made the Cotswolds prosperous and some of this money was put into the building of churches, leaving the area with a number of large handsome Cotswold stone "wool churches". The area remains affluent, which has encouraged the establishment of many high quality pubs, restaurants and antique shops.

Forge Cottage is a lovely Cotswold stone property, managed by the neighbouring Guiting Guest House. The cottage is in the centre of the beautiful and peaceful village of Guiting Power, which is surrounded by the stunning countryside of the North Cotswolds. Guiting Power remains a traditional Cotswold village, with friendly locals who live and work in the area, creating a lovely sense of community. It benefits from two well-regarded pubs, which are in walking distance of the cottage, as well as a bakery which stocks local provisions and a Post Office with tearoom, serving food throughout the day. For families, there is a lovely park with playing field, swings, sand pit and a zip wire. The well known market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are both approximately six miles away and the cottage is well placed for exploring the entire Cotswolds region.     The front door of Forge Cottage opens into a small hallway, off which are the following rooms: •Living/dining room: A large, characterful room, with wooden beams and floors, and a real fire plus a Freeview TV. There is comfy seating for five and a large wooden dining table, with seating for six; •Kitchen: The good sized kitchen contains an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a Nescafe coffee machine,, plus a small table and a couple of chairs. Stairs lead up from the hallway to the first floor landing. The following rooms are on the first floor: Master bedroom: A large bedroom, containing a super king size bed and a single "Z" bed on a raised platform. There is an en-suite bathroom, with a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin; Bedroom 2: Contains 2 x single beds or a double bed; Family bathroom: Contains a bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin. There is a small, enclosed patio area outside the front door of Forge Cottage with a table and chairs in the warmer months of the year.

    Honeystones is very peacefully located on a no through road, in the village of Bourton-on-the-Water. There is a small lawned area at the front of the property, with a path leading to the front door, which opens into a spacious hallway. This leads to the following ground floor rooms: Living room: A stylish room in muted tones, with bi-fold doors leading directly onto the garden, there is ample seating with a two and a three-seater sofa, plus an arm chair and SMART TV; Dining & family room: this convivial space has a dining table with seating for eight plus a chaise sofa and arm chair, plus another SMART TV; Kitchen area: This spacious area is open to the dining room and is very well equipped with two electric ovens, a six-ring gas hob, full height double fridge and freezer units, a full-size dishwasher plus washing machine and a tumble dryer.     Bourton-on-the-Water is arguably one of the most popular villages of the Cotswolds, especially amongst overseas visitors. Having been nicknamed the "Venice of the Cotswolds", its scenery is the main draw for travellers. The River Windrush meanders through beautiful English countryside before passing over rapids next to the Old Mill and arriving at Bourton. The river is fed from many springs, with the source approximately ten miles from the village and, after flowing under the bridges of Bourton, it passes other villages before eventually joining the Thames. There are various attractions in the village, including the famous Birdland, which is home to a variety of birds from around the world. Here visitors can see parrots, pelicans, flamingos and penguins to name just a few, with experienced keepers feeding the birds and leading demonstrations. The Model Village is well worth a visit, as Bourton is the only village in the Cotswolds to have a one-ninth scale replica of itself. It is carefully maintained and has all of the characterful buildings including the Old Water Mill and the Old New Inn. Those lucky enough to witness snow in the winter months will notice photographers at the model village trying to get the perfect picture of the snowy scene. Another family favourite is the Dragonfly Maze. This yew maze leads visitors through the labyrinth, gathering clues in order to find the pavilion in the centre which enables them to unlock the final secret! The maze was constructed by Kit Williams, author of the golden hare treasure hunt book, "Masquerade".

A clamber stack and mini football area are also situated to the side of the pods outside the games room. Tennis court and bike hire available. Walks and cycle routes around the estate and local area Pet Farm animals live in the paddocks opposite the pods - goats, donkeys, alpaca and a pig - they love you to visit them during your stay.
    Notgrove Estate is one of the few remaining privately owned Cotswold estates offering 1500 acres of private rolling farmland. We have mapped out walks, around the estate and local area and can recommend longer walks if required. Our working farm has sheep and cattle as well as our pet goats, donkeys and alpaca who live just across the track from the pods . You can hire bikes from the local company via our website. We are ideally located to visit the local attractions of Bourton on the Water (3 miles) Stow on the Wold (5 miles) or Burford, Stratford Upon Avon, Cheltenham. Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park is a 15 minute drive away and The Cotswold Wildlife Park is a 25 drive away. Bourton on the Water is 3 miles down the road and has many Cotswold wonders such as Birdland, The Model Railway and the Miniature Village - as well as lovely cafes and shops. The local pub is The Plough at Cold Aston, this is a 1.5 miles walk from us across the fields or down a quiet lane - with lovely food and beers. Or The Black Horse at Naunton is also a lovely village pub with great pub food and a cosy atmosphere.
    The Notgrove Estate is a 1500 acre family run working farm owned by Harry and Diana Acland. Set high up in the Cotswold Hills it has 400 acres of grassland in deep valleys and 100 acres of woodland and rolling arable fields. The farm has a mix of sheep, cattle and arable and has diversified with two horse livery yards and a holiday cottage business. In the last few years Harry and Diana have put in new foot and bridle paths and entered into a wildlife conservation scheme planting 200 acres of special plots planted with wild bird mixes, corn bunting mixes, pollen and nectar mixes for bees and beetle banks that promotes the preservation of our natural wild birds. The scenery changes with each season as does the pattern of farming; we have an abundance of lambs and calves in spring, harvest in summer, colourful autumn leaves and dramatic winters, often with snow.
