Once the stables and outbuildings of the impressive Corffe House, Corffe has been beautifully restored, transforming it into a relaxing holiday cottage complex with a wealth of facilities for all ages. Whatever the weather, Corffe provides the ideal base for family holidays and gatherings, stay on site and enjoy the shared indoor pool, tennis court and play area or head out and within 10 minutes you’ll be at the nearest beach. Year round week stays and short breaks available.
Number Six Corffe Cottages offers spacious reverse level accommodation. On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and two bunk bedrooms, both with adult-sized bunk beds. There are also two bathrooms with bath, overhead shower and WC as well as a separate shower room and WC. On the first floor there is a spacious open-plan kitchen with island, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. The kitchen leads into a separate dining area with a long oak table and then into a sitting room comfortably furnished with sofas plus a flat screen TV with Freeview and integrated DVD.
Easy to find, the Corffe estate nestles on the outskirts of the picture postcard village of Tawstock, handily located a short drive from the bustling market town of Barnstaple and within easy reach of the stunning North Devon coastline with its amazing beaches and endless attractions. Corffe really does provide the peace of the countryside with a wide variety of amenities on your doorstep. North Devon Home to Woolacombe voted the UK’s number one beach, North Devon offers some of the UKs most beautiful coastline. Known for its dramatic cliffs, spirited seas (perfect for surfing) and sandy beaches it is the ideal holiday location for families and those that love the great outdoors. Natural features range from the biodiverse sand dunes at Braunton Burrows to the rocky coves along the South West Coast Path as well as the wild expanse of the Exmoor National Park. Why not spend the day on a local beach building sandcastles and rock pooling, visit one of the many child friendly attractions ranging from theme parks and zoos to sculpture trails and botanical gardens or hire a bike and take on the Tarka Trail at your own pace. Then enjoy one of the many local eateries, take a picnic and soak up the scenery that surrounds you or treat yourself to a traditional Devon cream tea. Tawstock The village of Tawstock is scattered across a tree lined valley to the West of the River Taw. Behind the village hall you can enter the woods and enjoy sheltered walks on the many footpaths or along the old carriage drives to Tawstock Court. With it’s beautiful views St Peter’s Church in Tawstock dates back to the 14th century. Take a look inside and you’ll see the impressive ceiling with its Italian plaster work, medieval glass windows and intricate carved benches. St Peter’s Church is also home to several fine monuments and tombs. Next to the thatched primary school you’ll find ‘Holy Well’ one of the largest Holy Wells in the country. It was first recorded in the 14th Century it is grade 2 listed and was restored in 1938. Barnstaple Once a river port Barnstable is now a thriving town with a market, shopping centre, theatre, cinema and leisure centre. Offering much more than just your high street chains the town prides itself on its independent shops, local produce and colourful history. Voted one of the top 10 food markets in the UK the historic Panier Market is definitely worth a visit. Operating six days a week throughout most of the year it offers a huge range of exciting fresh produce, handmade arts and crafts plus a fantastic range of antiques and collectables. When it comes to eating out you’ll be spoilt for choice as the town is bursting with fantastic independent restaurants. Whether you prefer Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Spanish or simply a good old British classic you’ll find it in Barnstaple. If you like something a bit different then be sure to check out the regular street food markets that take place around the town. On the outskirts of Barnstaple, you will find several retail parks with all the big-name supermarkets, petrol stations and fast food outlets!

'A little slice of heaven at Heavenly Heavitree! A sweet two bedroomed cottage with a sitting room and kitchen that was the original coach house in the garden of a Georgian Wing where I live. Cosy and well decorated with original features and use of the garden. Garden is dog proof if you wish to bring your well behaved, well socialised dog that is happy to share the garden with my family and collie.
It's a quiet, self contained cottage with a sofa, tv, wifi, little kitchen with a Nespresso machine, toaster, microwave, a fridge, cooker and dishwasher. There is plenty of storage for bikes in the garage and space to wash out wetsuits and hang them up to dry. There's a bathroom with a bath with an integrated shower and two bedrooms up stairs, one with a Hypnos mattress that is a king (2 meters long by 1.55 wide) and another bedroom with standard size bunk beds. Both rooms have wardrobes and look out over the garden. There's an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer for you to use. There's a sofa bed in the sitting room.
Pilton is a lovely unspoilt part of Barnstaple with beautiful architecture and some ancient buildings. It has two pubs, an Indian takeaway and a very popular fish and chip shop. It is within easy walking distance of the town which has a fantastic theatre, cinema and lots of lively bars, restaurants and independent shops.

A small gem of a property Rock cottage is a two hundred year old cottage on the edge of Arlington court, a huge, beautiful National Trust estate. The setting is peaceful, the hamlet has no street lamps and a river flows opposite the property.
This 4-bedroom cottage has two bathrooms and functions perfectly for two friendly families or groups. Each side of the cottage has two bedrooms and bathroom accessed at either end of the property so there is a feeling of a separate sleeping/living space, although it is one house. There are two lounges, with log burners, a dining room and modern well-equipped galley kitchen. There is one DVD player, TV and WIFI. The cottage has quirky, shabby chic décor making it a peaceful, relaxing space in which to unwind. The one-acre stunning garden has a flat lawn area, patio and outside barbeque/fire and a steeper woodland area for fun and adventure. The terraces are built by using traditional dry stone, which gives it an ancient magical feel. No smoking household. Dogs, cats and children are welcome. SUMMER & EASTER BOOKINGS Please note we only rent during Easter holidays and summer between 18th of July to 5th of September for 1 week rentals - Saturday to Saturday. Linens and towels are provided XMAS BOOKINGS We are only renting during the school holidays for 1 week rentals.

Ben equipat amb tot el que necessita: una ubicació realment tranquil·la però convenient, un jardí preciós i grans habitacions confortables. Fàcil passeig de 10 minuts fins a un pub molt agradable a la carretera de camp, amb un bon xef, reserveu-ho. Tanya va facilitar el procés de reserva i va respondre ràpidament a algunes preguntes.   • Aquesta casa rural i el seu jardí va ser una autèntica troballa! Perfecte per a una família de cinc, avis i un gos. Els nens i els gossos van gaudir plenament d’explorar amb seguretat el jardí completament tancat. Ens havia entès que el jardí es trobava a l'altra banda de la casa rural, però en realitat era molt segur per a nens i per a gossos. Molt ampli per dins amb tot el que necessitaves. La base perfecta per explorar la zona: tot el que volíem veure es trobava a 30 minuts. Ens ha encantat absolutament Woolacombe i també hem beneït amb el bon temps. Aquesta casa de camp és imprescindible !!!

    A rural, cosy, detached barn conversion 20 minutes from Barnstaple, next to our 16th century home and gardens. The barn benefits from it's own central heating, double/ twin bedroom and bathroom, living room, private patio area and use of the grounds. 1-2 well behaved dogs also welcome.
    Rosehill Barn - is set in the grounds of a medieval hall house surrounded by lovely gardens and an orchard and has a timeless, peaceful atmosphere; there is very little to disturb you other than birdsong and the mooing of cows in the surrounding fields. The open plan living room has oak flooring and is furnished with a comfortable sofa and chair, TV and DVD player, a pretty dining table and some simple kitchen equipment with microwave, table top hob, small fridge, toaster and kettle. The double bedroom has a large built in wardrobe, and the door opens out into the garden which contains many roses which give the barn its’ name. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath with shower over, towels and a limited selection of toiletries will be provided upon arrival. The barn benefits from its’ own central heating and hot water system. We encourage guests to recycle, compost and use energy wisely. Guests will notice we have a solar array in the orchard which contributes to our electricity demands.

    The Hide is a tranquil getaway, tucked into the corner of Lemons Farm, our 15th Century thatched farmhouse. Originally a piggery, the cob and stone building has been converted into a little cottage with a living area, kitchenette, bathroom and mezzanine sleeping area. Fall asleep under the stars and wake to the sound of birdsong. Lemons Farm is located in Atherington, a lovely village with a church, shop and great playground. Some great pubs are nearby as are the gorgeous North Devon beaches.
    Guests are able to explore our large gardens, with two lawns, kitchen garden, stream with waterfall and decking. We have a trampoline, mud kitchen, swings and slide for children to enjoy. Guests also have their own patio seating area with a BBQ (bring your own charcoal) and chiminea (logs and kindling are provided).
    We are just 25 minutes from North Devon's spectacular Atlantic coastline. Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde Bay are our closest beaches and we try to get there as soon as the sun comes out. We also love walking and cycling on the Tarka Trail which goes along the river estuary. We are 15 minutes' drive from the market town of South Molton, well worth a visit for its pannier market and a Devonshire cream tea. From nearby Bideford or Ilfracombe you can take the ferry to Lundy Island's spectacular nature reserve. Family attractions include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the lovely seaside towns of Clovelly and Lynmouth, which are all under an hour's drive. If you love walking, we are not far from Exmoor, but there are some very picturesque spots to explore even closer to home, like Northam Burrows and the Taw River. The South West coast path is also on our doorstep.

    Approximately 25 minutes drive from the spectacular north coast beaches such as Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe and a short journey to stunning Exmoor! Swimbridge is a lovely, peaceful and friendly village with an abundance of countryside walks, a fantastic pub (the Jack Russell - 10 min walk) and St James church, which has a wealth of interesting historical items. It's a great location for surfing, kayakking, mountain biking, fishing, shooting, explooring and children's activities!
    Dog friendly. £20 fee. Sleeping/bedroom(s): The property has one double bedroom and also a large double sofa bed in the sitting room (bedding provided). The bedroom has a wardrobe and storage draws in the base of the bed and two bedside tables with lamps. Doors lead out from the bedroom into the garden. Infants: A travel cot / crib is available. Mattress size is 38 inches X 26 inches and fits in the main bedroom (bedding not provided). Kitchen: Full cooking facilities: built in fridge, oven, hob, microwave oven. There is an extractor fan and a sink. All usual items such as a kettle/toaster/crockery/glasses/cutlery/utensils/mugs/tea/coffee/milk Washing machine and drying facilities are available (not in the property itself but hosts can assist) Bathroom: Powerful shower, basin/vanity unit with storage, WC and cabinet with mirror. All towels provided. Living area: Large sofa (also acts as the second bed), quick fibre optic broadband (reaches the bedroom too but weaker in there), LCD digital TV, Digital Radio, Bluetooth speaker. The lodge has three electronic Velux windows/blinds which can be operated via remote control. One in the bedroom, two in the living area. The heating is underfloor and can be adjusted for the bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. Note that the water supply is from a well and treated with a UV system, it's good!. Safety: Smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector installed in the living area. Fire blanket stored in the kitchen. Your own table and chairs are available for outside the lodge and also a coal BBQ. Feel free to borrow surf boards/body boards if they're not already being used. Two parking spaces are available at all times and more can be arranged two minutes walk away if required. The garden is mature and quite large! But please be aware this is a shared aspect if we're occupying the main Cottage when you stay.

    The house gardens and surroundings will not be accessible there is a stoned driveway to the front and large locked double gates.
    The main town is a pleasant one mile walk where there are lovely coffee shops, tea rooms restaurants and bars. There are bike hire facilities for the tarka trails all car free. Out on the main road from the house is an award winning chip shop. Down the bottom of the hill is tesco extra ,Asda and the main town centre which has 2 Wetherspoons. There are several gym complexes, spas, swimming centre, McDonald’s, Burger King, kfc ,Costa, and Sainsbury’s all within walking distance including access to the tarka trail which spans for miles upon miles along the river with several cafes on route.

    Our beautiful Tin Can Cottage is a 1959 Tradewind Airstream caravan that has been meticulously restored and redecorated. Outside the aluminium is sleek and minimal. Inside you will find everything you need to make your stay a special one including all self catering needs.  It is suitable for a couple or a couple with a small child.  Well behaved dogs are welcome but not permitted on furniture and guests must clean-up after their dogs and vacuum all dog hair. Check-in 4pm-8pm. No late check-ins.
    The beautiful kitchen is equipped with everything you need for proper cooking; a 4-burner gas hob, Smeg fridge, oven, Smeg Toaster, Le Creuset kettle, scales, sharp knives, cafetière, stove top espresso maker, cookery books…. if you need it and it’s not there already we will lend it to you.  There are even fresh herbs growing just outside the front door. The bedroom has a double bed snugly fitted in to the curved end of the caravan. The bed is slightly longer and slightly narrower than a standard double bed (125cm x 195cm).  But as there is no chance of you falling out of the bed (see photo of bed below), you are able to enjoy the full width! Bedding is pure French linen and Hungarian Goose down. There is even a wall mounted TV for snuggling up to watch a movie. Access is only from one side of the bed so a certain amount of agility is required – not for those with restricted mobility. Wifi is provided however rural broadband speeds apply. You can browse and send and receive emails however there is not sufficient band width to enable streaming. The bathroom has a proper flushing toilet, heater and an electric power shower. Hammam towels and cotton bath robes are provided.  Finally, there is an eating and seating area which can convert in to another single bed. Suitable for an adult or child. To keep you nice and warm there is a wood burner (you can even make your toast on it!) and a heater. There is plenty of storage space and another TV and dvd player in the living area. 
    We have a public footpath that runs through our property and we are only a 15 minute stroll through fields and woodland (wellies recommended, we have many sizes available to borrow!) to the village of Goodleigh where you can find a lovely meal and a drink at our local pub, The New Inn at Goodleigh, where Jules and Justin will welcome you. There are many walks from the farm through surrounding fields and woodland. This is also a great place for cycling; towards Exmoor if you like it hilly, or on the Tarka trail towards Braunton or Bideford for a flat, off-road, tar-sealed ride (the longest one in the UK). We are a short drive from some of the best surfing in the UK at Croyde, Putsborough or Saunton Sands. We have lockable storage available for any equipment you bring. As keen walkers, cyclists and beach-goers we are happy to provide advice, routes and maps for our guests.

    The room is light and a good size with a wardrobe, bedside table and lamp. The bathroom and common rooms are spacious. Me and my sister live in the house, we are very welcoming and happy to answer any questions.
    My house is a spacious 3 bed semi detached house. Free Superfast broadband, soap, toast, cereal, tea and coffee.
    My house is in the centre of town but is tucked away so nice and quiet at night. There are plenty of car parks near by and a 5 minute walk to free parking which I can show you. There is street parking outside my house which is free from 6pm-8am.

Our wonderful small flock of animals greatly accompany our two very friendly goats (Eric & Clyde).

    We are 2 miles from 2 pubs, 10 minutes gets you to the centre of Barnstaple by car, and the nearest beach is about a 20 minute drive. Exmoor just 30 minutes too.

With a lovely community Orchard and short walking nature reserve next door to enjoy and get some time away from the town. The house is only a 5 minute drive into barnstaple centre where you have a selection of restaurants and places to have a drink. Barnstaple is the centre of North Devon and with quick links to both Bideford, Braunton, Ilfracombe and more.
    The room has a single bed with some draw space avaible. Excellent pit stop. A lovely new shared bath room and free use of the living room.

    Modern and newly refurbished in 2019/20 the annex is attached to our bungalow which is situated in a small, quiet cul de sac. It comprises: an open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge and either a super-king sized double or twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room. In the lounge there is a sofa bed suitable for an occasional guest or a child. French doors open to the garden and there are pleasant views from the living room over allotments, residential areas of Barnstaple and fields beyond.
    This is a self catering flat and cereals, bread, butter, milk, marmalade, tea & coffee will be provided for breakfast. The kitchen is complete with all cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils for guests to cook meals if they wish. There is a washing machine, iron and ironing board. We welcome well behaved dogs for an additional fee and have a secure garden they can play in. Dog minding and/or walking is also offered for a small fee
    Barnstaple is the regional centre of North Devon and within easy reach of stunning beaches, coastal paths, countryside and moors. There is a large public park within a short walk of Firscott which is overlooked by a beautiful 4 star hotel open to non-residents for snacks, light meals and dinner. From here it is less than a five minute walk to the town square. Firscott is on the edge of the town but only a 15/20 min walk from the centre where a wide range of amenities can be found.

A perfect base to explore the whole of North Devon; whether you're into surfing or just scenery-spotting, coastal-hiking or horse-riding. Enjoy this peaceful rural setting that's only 5 minutes drive from the historic market town of Barnstaple, which has a wide range of amenities and tourist attractions. Great Lilly Cottage forms part of Great Lilly Farm where the owners, Kate & Ali live with their family and assorted menagerie including Pygmy Goats, Pigs and Chickens. The cottage is a 3 storey renovated barn with its own private parking and extensive & enclosed gardens - and being animal lovers, we happily accept well-behaved pets. Please note, although on 3 levels, the cottage is open plan with both bedrooms opening onto the central staircase.

    I have a stylish Victorian Terrace in a quiet dead-end street close to the town centre. The room is next to a bathroom that is for your sole use (I have another bathroom on the ground floor through the kitchen). You are welcome to use the sitting room and kitchen. I enjoy interacting with guests but will also respect privacy when required. There is a good library with novels and children's books, plus a box of toys in the sitting room for those with children.
    The street is resident's only parking. That means if you have a car you will need to drop your belonging off and then find parking elsewhere. There are options available (paid and free) within 5-10 minutes walk of the house. I provide all the things needed for a basic continental style breakfast and tea/coffee is availabel all the time.
    Barnstaple is a lovely market town close to the coast where there are wonderful beaches that are particularly popular with surfers. The town has a cinema, theatre and main shopping street as well as an out own town retail centre. My favourite place for coffee is the coffe shop inside 'The Bike Shed', opposite the newly renovated museum by the river.

The Town of Barnstaple is only five miles away. The cottage has all the facilities for that perfect weekend getaway,
    It is quiet, you can hear the birds sing and see the stars at night. Perfect.
    The area in which Sunset cottage lies is in a typical country village, with a local pub, pretty church, friendly folk.

There are cycle and footpaths at the end of the road giving off road access to the Tarka Trail.
    Completely self contained; at the top of the stairs you’ll find an open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with a 2-seater sofa bed, Amazon TV, Wi-Fi/Speaker/Alexa and Table with 4 chairs. The Kitchen is fully equipped with oven, grill & hob, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Washing Machine/Tumble Dryer, Fridge Freezer and all the pans, crockery & utensils you’d need for everyday cooking. There is also a Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine. Through a door you’ll fine the Bedroom, with Double Bed, Bed-side tables with lamps, Blackout Blind, Cupboard with shelf & hanging space & Hair Dryer There is an Ensuite Bathroom with Shower, Sink & Vanity Unit, W/C & Heated Towel Rail.

    Friendly location, within easy walking distance to the town centre. ( Free Parking ) Accessible to all Amenities including the Tarka tennis centre, outdoor/indoor courts, leisure centre ,Tarka cycle trail, close to all local beaches Instow, Saunton, Woolacombe ,Mortehoe plus undiscovered alcoves along the coast. Then discover the wildness of Exmoor with Stags deer and lots of wild ponies just roaming. The Bus station is a 5 minuet walk from the Studio the train station is a 15 minuet walk.
    The Studio is a totally self contained /Annexe, set away from the main house, with all it's own amenities including private off street parking.
    It's quite, friendly and a good neighbourhood.

You will receive a warm welcome from myself, my two daughters and our little dog and will endeavour to make your stay as happy, relaxing and as comfortable as possible.
    The top floor of my home is exclusively for Airbnb guests.
    I live on a quiet road of predominately Victorian homes, with the convenience of being 5-10 minutes walk into Barnstaple town.

    Artavia guest house is situated in a convenient location just a 15 minute walk into the town centre. Or on a regular bus route. All within a 2 minute walk are local amenities a convenience shop, Indian & Chinese restaurants launderette and even a hair dressers. A full English breakfast daily is on the menu and gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available on request. (Please state when booking). The room itself all though not en-suite has use of its own bathroom just across the corridor.

    The Vestry is on the edge of Exmoor A beautiful self contained property with a private decking area and use of the large garden. We are situated right on the Tarka trail for great walks and the beauty of Exmoor is only mins away. We're 30 min to Saunton Sands Croyde or Woolacombe the north coast is within easy reach. Its a 10 min drive to the market town of Barnstaple or a short drive to Bideford where you can take the ferry to Lundy Island Small dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
    Great for walks and exploring .About 15 miles to Woolacombe 17 miles to Croyde only 10 miles to Westward Ho! And only 5 miles to the market town of Barnstaple.

    A lovely detached hideaway, dating from the 16th century, situated near the pretty churchyard at High Bray, a hamlet that lies above the picturesque village of Brayford in North Devon Set in a beautiful rural community close to the western edge of Exmoor, Old Church House is surrounded by  magnificent countryside. Ideally located for easy access to Exmoor's spectacular moorland and coastline and within easy driving distance of the sandy beaches of  Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe. ​
    Overflowing with original character features including oak beams, stone fireplaces and multi pane windows throughout, Old Church House is a comfortable, traditionally furnished period house. As with many houses of this era there are some uneven floors, low ceilings and beams in parts (the lowest beam is 1.78mx/5ft 10" and the lowest ceiling at 1.96m/6ft 5" – both in the kitchen). The front door leads into the central hallway with a bench seat/shoe rack perfect for muddy shoes, useful downstairs toilet and cloakroom space. Off the hallway is a spacious living room with an attractive beamed fireplace housing a wood burning stove, comfy seating to take advantage of the many books provided and views out onto the front garden or to the churchyard at the rear. The well-equipped dual aspect kitchen features a large kitchen table, oak units, large butler sink, electric cooker and hob and wood burning stove. The kitchen door leads onto to the garden and can also be used for external access. Upstairs the galleried landing and the higher ceilings give a spacious feel. The three bedrooms are traditionally furnished in a mix of styles and are served by a family bathroom. Outside and to the front is a cottage style garden, while a small terraced area to the side is ideal for a relaxing drink. To the rear a small area furnished with a bench seat catches the afternoon sun and overlooks the churchyard. Perfect for walkers and families alike Old Church House offers a relaxing and comfortable base from which to explore this beautiful area.
    Old Church House sits beside the pretty churchyard in High Bray, a tiny village high above Brayford, close to the western edge of Exmoor National Park.

The private garden is located at the side of the property. It has a large patio and dining area.
    Located at the end of a lane in the rolling North Devon countryside 'The Warren' is a must for those seeking a taste of rural tranquillity. Relax in the sunny garden and explore the fantastic local area with an abundance of activities to choose from. Visit amazing Blue Flag sand beaches for walks, fantastic surfing or just relaxing (Saunton, Croyde, Wollacombe), Historic and beautiful coastal towns Lynton & Lynmouth, Exmoor National Park with its array of flaura and fauna, walkers paradise, Exmoor Ponies and cosy country pubs.     Well equipped cottage which sleeps 8 guests in 4 rooms. Up to 3 dogs are welcome. The cottage has an enclosed, beautifully landscaped garden. There is a comfortable conservatory and a long burning fire for those cooler nights. There is parking for up to 4 cars, and it is a gentle stroll to Landkey village with its pub , pretty tea room, village store and post office. The lane outside is very quiet. Towels and bed linen provided. Changeover day is Friday. Friday to Monday breaks also welcome.
    Mill Bridge House is a beautifully appointed cottage offering comfortable accommodation for up to 8 people, so is ideal for large family groups - and the dogs can come too! Beds, sofas, and furnishings and fittings are all top quality and the cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic holiday. After a day walking on the many beaches within easy reach, you can relax in the conservatory or in front of the log burning fire or stroll to the pub for dinner.
    Landkey is a quiet village 2 miles from Barnstaple with a pub, tearoom, post office and village store in easy walking distance. Excellent access to the A39 which means a good link to the M5. Instow, Woolacombe, Saunton and Westward Ho beaches are a half an hour drive away. Nearly all the beaches in North Devon are dog friendly all year round with slight area restrictions during the summer months. There are many local walks and the house is just outside the village over a humped back bridge.

    Annexe flat in a quiet location with good Wi-Fi and easy access to local amenities. Free parking is available within 100 meters of the front door. Though this is listed as a room in a shared house you will essentially have the entire annex to yourself, we will just pop in from time to time to use the gym or grab the odd thing from a store room. Secure indoor storage for bikes and surfboards is available.
    Large double bedroom with workspace. Sole use of kitchen and bathroom facilities.
    Village like community on the edge of a town. Local amenities close by include shops, park and leisure centre. Easy access by foot, public transport or car.

    Quiet village on the edge of Exmoor close to North Devon coast
    Yew Tree cottage is situated near the top of the village & is well situated to explore all that this beautiful area has to offer. The kitchen is suitably equipped for a self-catering stay & the basics of tea, coffee and cooking oils are provided & you are of course welcome to use any fresh herbs available in the garden.There is a washing machine/dryer & washing line up in the top garage- very useful for drying swimming towels (but please bring your own; towels are provided for the bathroom but they are not suitable for the beach). The front room has TV, radio, underfloor heating as well as a wood burning stove - some logs are provided. There is a charcoal BBQ to use in the garden (but please bring your own charcoal). The cottage & garden are yours to enjoy , entry is by a key safe & there is private parking for 2 cars. Only weekly bookings or longer are accepted, but there is some flexibility around checking in & out times.
    There is a village shop an easy walk from the cottage for newspapers, bread , milk etc. Sadly the village pub has closed but there are several pubs within close driving distance.

    A modern barn conversion set in 9 acres of rural north devon. Hidden away down narrow lanes, yet only 10 minutes drive from South Molton. It is a heaven of peace and tranquility away from the stresses and strains of modern day urban living. Offering open plan living and spacious accommodation that sleeps up to 6 people. Travel cot available on request. High chair available on site. Ample parking out front of cottage. Separate games room available adjacent to cottage containing, Pool table, Snooker table, Dart board and table football. All the above are free to use apart from table football which needs 50p. There is also a selction of board games and books available for those grey days! Bed linen and towels supplied. We do ask however that at the end of your stay you kindly strip the beds and leave the linen in a pile in the relevant bedroom floor. All used towels can be left on the floor of the bathrooms. Any unused bathroom towels/mats should be left on the bed.
    We are set in a small hamlet of around 8 houses, which are all spaced out in their own settings. It is a wonderful place to escape and retreat to and explore the delights of north devon, whether its Exmoor, Dartmoor of the stunning north devon beaches you are after, we have access to it all.

    We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. "The Tarka suite”is equipped with a double bed, small yet comfortable sofa/dining area and basic kitchen facilities which includes a toaster, egg boiler, fridge, microwave/combo cooker and kettle. Due to guest request we have now included an induction single hot plate,. You will also have private access to an outside seating area with a pergola and bbq/firepit and a covered garden room.
    For the energetic there is complimentary use of a mini gym equipped with a running machine, cross trainer a punch bag and weights. We also offer complimentary use of a male and female bicycle to make the most of the Tarka Trail. A 2 minute walk takes you into Anchor woods. You have sole use of an en suite toilet/shower cubicle. We provide a welcome pack for your first nights visit which includes milk, bread, spread, preserves, eggs and cereals.
    We are in walking distance to Cedars (a Green King Restaurant/Bar), The Pelican, an award winning fish and chip shop, a chinese take away, and convenience store. Pubs, restaurants and supermarkets are all within easy reach. The Cabin is located in the outskirts ofBarnstaple and therefore ideally centrally situated to access all the beautiful attractions and sites North Devon have to offer. Please Note: Transport is needed to access the beaches etc

The three bedrooms are on the ground floor (master bedroom is en suite) and upstairs is the lounge and kitchen with a large window with views across the village and surrounding countryside. From the lounge there is a separate TV room, great for kids and a cloakroom. There is plenty to do in the local area and several beaches a short drive away.
