Our small studio/House has been built to latest standards ensuring warmth and comfort during your stay. We have kept the pod as simple as possible making it ideal for couples and young families. The place has been fitted out with all the comforts of home with brands we all know and trust. The hot tub is here for you to enjoy as you wish, bathrobes and luxury White Company towels will keep you warm afterwards. 40 ins Tv with DVD and Roberts music system will help entertain on those cold dark winter nights when the views have been covered for the day. The shower room is stocked with everything you will need during your stay with a Mira shower to reinvigorate while your towel is warmed on the electric towel rail. The kitchen is compact but fully functioning with oven,fridge freezer and 2 ring hob top. The oven can also be used as a microwave. If coffee is your indulgence the Nespresso machine is there and fully stocked for you to sample the different flavours on offer. For the energetic guests we have 2 adult bikes located at the pod, please bring your own helmets! With our changeable weather you can decide to eat inside or out with the tables and chairs we have provided. The Weber BBQ is also in situation on the deck when required. Wireless charging is available along with a docking port for the iPhone with USB plugs available at the bedsides.
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, this is the place to relax and unwind. There are miles of beautiful country walks that change with the seasons. Also of particular note is a proper local pub only a five minute walk away.

A rustic stargazer where you can fall asleep watching the stars and wake up to the sound of birdsong! A rural spot, far from street lighting, the sky lights up on clear nights. Simple, basic, but unusual accommodation. This is a wooden A-frame structure with enough room for two to sleep in with a mainly glass roof.
Where else can you stay in a stargazer?! Our large Devon stone house in a quiet valley on the edge of the pretty village of Holcombe Rogus, surrounded by countryside. The house is half a mile from the village, which has a small shop, a garage and a pub. The Prince of Wales pub does pub food as does the Staple Cross Inn which is about 3 miles away. (food not available every day) Both Dartmoor and Exmoor, and the north and south Devon coasts, are about an hour away, and there are plenty of pretty walks close by, including the Great Western Canal. The cathedral city of Exeter is 40 minutes away, and the market town of Taunton 30 minutes. Nearby Wellington and Tiverton have a range of shops and supermarkets. There is quick and easy access to the M5 at both junctions 26 and 27, and is a 15 minute drive from Tiverton Parkway Train station. We also have available a single room. Please see separate listing.

The space-GC Flat is a self contained two storey flat on the north wing of the house with its own access and self catering accommodation. Suitable for couples and small groups alike due to the romantic nature of the quintessential English gardens and setting of the hot tub. As you enter through your own access you have a downstairs cloakroom with ample of hanging space for your coats. You continue upstairs to the rest of the accommodation which includes the master bedroom with king size bed, which has wonderful views over the walled garden, formal lawns, ponds and hot tub and boasts a charming round window and large sash, a truly beautiful room. A second double bedroom either with two large single beds or one superking bed made up to guests requirements. The good sized sitting room has sofa seating for 6 with a comfortable double sofa bed and a three seater sofa. Plenty of storage and a desk with a reading lamp with room for laptop etc. A pretty fireplace with log effect fire gives the room a cosy focal point, leading off the living room is a large bathroom with freestanding bath and big shower. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, crockery, children's crockery, intergrated washing machine and dishwasher. Fridge freezer, microwave, gas Hob and oven. It has a large kitchen table ideal for family meals and evening board games. A small mini bar with honesty box is available to guests. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The flat has its own hot water and heating system and wifi super fast broadband is available. The hot tub is located overlooking the formal lawns and ponds, it is a short walk around the house down a well lit path, guests have exclusive use during their stay until 10pm. Guests have free range to explore our 12 acres of gardens, paddocks, woodlands and use of tennis court and rackets. We also have an old Victorian grass tennis court that is now a children’s play area and has a lovely natural viewing area for parents to sit and supervise with a cup of tea or glass of wine! A designated bbq and outdoor seating is available for guests to use during stay within the beautiful walled garden. Our tennis court is available for use any time and we have balls and racquets for guests to use. Secure parking for bikes can be arranged. We may be willing to take small, well behaved dogs at discretion of owner at a charge of £10 per dog per stay. Please discuss before booking. We have livestock on the premises in he form of sheep, goats, chickens and horses, please do not enter their paddocks and respect any electric fencing as it will be on! Do not feed any of the animals. Being a former rectory we are nestled against the historic church of st. Augustines, the church is opened daily and is well worth a look. Location- west monkton is a quiet, rural village without any direct public transport links, the closest bus stop is approx a mile walk away so advisable to bring a car or get a taxi from Taunton to the accommodation. Taco from Taunton town centre are approx £15. We are situated on the edge of the Quantock's just three miles from the county town of Taunton, with its great variety of shops and restaurants. The Brewhouse theatre puts on a wide variety of performances throughout the year. Vivary park is within the town centre with high ropes course and 18 hole golf course. Taunton has a regular farmers market on a Thursday. There are three friendly local pubs within easy walking distance, the Monkton Inn is just 300 yards from the end of the drive, the Merry Monk and the Maypole inn are situated about a mile away and easily walkable. We are situated at the foot of the Quantock hills and is the perfect location for keen dog walkers, walkers, bikers or horse riders to take advantage of the area. Samuel Taylor Coleridge's cottage in Nether Stowey is only a stones throw away over the hill. The West Somerset coast is not to be missed hosting the legendary west Somerset steam railway, a 22 mile heritage railway line from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead, the medieval village of Dunster with its castle, yarn market and quirky shops and tea rooms. A wonderful day out for all young and old. The beauty of Exmoor with it rugged coastline are not to be missed and most accessible. We are close to the famous Somerset levels renowned for its rich wildlife and has the largest lowland population of breeding wading birds, great for any ornithologist or amateurs alike with many walkways and hides. Autumn and winter is a particularly wonderful time to visit with the famous starling murmurations easily accessible and many guided tours taking place. Glastonbury is a thirty minute drive.
West Monkton is an extremely friendly village. There is the local pub ‘the monkton inn’ only 2 minutes walk from the accommodation. Another two pubs close by both within 1.5 miles.

A uniquely appointed wood cabin sited under mature oak trees in our lovely garden. The Shack has one lovely room with kitchen area inc microwave, fridge and toaster, no cooker but a single electric ring. Items for breakfast will be left for your first night and you are welcome to request more. These include homemade bread and jam, milk, tea and coffee and cereal. Well insulated so warm in winter and cool in summer. 3 miles to the coast. A short drive to Exmoor or the Quantock hills. Meet our chickens and dogs, chill on the veranda listening to birds and the river, or stroll to the very local pub.
The Shack comprises a good size room with double bed. There's a kitchenette and your own bathroom with toilet, sink and our special galvanised metal shower! As we are keen to re-use and upcycle as much as possible you will find many examples of this in the shack. There's the pallet wood wall and floor which was taken up from an old pub skittle alley. Lights and other features hand made by ourselves in reclaimed wood.
The Shack is situated in the hamlet of Torre (pronounced tor) just a few yards from the river Washford. The White Horse pub is just a few metres away, has a beer garden next to the river and otters can occasionally be seen. We are pretty quiet yet not isolated and only 10 minutes from the coast at Blue Anchor. Washford has a lovely quirky small zoo which has great indoor and outdoor play areas and is enjoyed by adults and children alike. The Steam railway (which is the longest in the country) stops in the village and the train is often heard from our property. The neighbourhood is very friendly and welcoming. Our property is set in a small valley and there are many trees around. The sound of birds ( Inc owls) around the shack is lovely and we regularly get nuthatches, tree creepers, long tailed tits and goldfinches to our feeders. Sit on your terrace and listen to the river and relax...

The town centre and train station are easily accessible and for those who like to walk and explore, our house is a 5 minute wonder away from the canal. Your room gets plenty of sun, and you will have your own TV, work desk and plenty of storage space. You will also have your own private bathroom.
This cosy house is located within a peaceful cul-de-sac in Taunton's commuting zone. The house is simple,warm and comfortable, it also has all the essentials such as wifi, a TV in your room and heating. It's important that you feel comfortable during your stay. Your room is south facing so receives plenty of natural light, and overlooks our beautiful green garden. If you like a good sunrise or sunset then the view of the sky from your window, on a clear day, can be quite beautiful. Your own bathroom is right around the corner from your bedroom, and has a bath for relaxing in, and an over-the-bath shower when you're in a bit more of a hurry. Breakfast is a simple but nutritious selection of cereals, toast, fruit, tea/coffee/juice, all of which are included in the nightly rate.

Ideally placed near many Somerset attractions, including the West Somerset Railway at Bishops Lydeard. Great for a cosy weekend get away, close to Taunton but still tranquil and rural. The Shed is our guest annex, detached from the main house. We are located in Halse, approx 6miles from Taunton and approx 6miles from Wellington. We are near to the Quantock Hills and Exmoor. The village has a pub, and there are pubs serving good food within a short drive. Now has Electric Vehicle charging point!
The shed has its own parking and entrance with views of our garden. The Shed provides comfortable accommodation for up to two people, and the beds can be set up as two Twin beds or as a Superking ( let us know when you book). We provide bedding, towels . There are basic toiletries in the shower for you use, incl shampoo,conditioner and shower gel. Tea,Coffee and welcome pack(incl milk) will also be provided for guest use. A small fridge and microwave are provided. You can leave your dirty crockery outside in the box provided the property and we will wash them and return them by the time you return from your day out. There is a walk in wardrobe space with hanging rail. We provide a small fold up table and two chairs if you need them they are in the wardrobe. We are happy for infants to be included in the party, but you would need to bring your own travel cot. No extra charge for infants. Please note maximum occupancy is 2 adults and an infant. We are rural, and therefore mobile phone coverage is patchy, often non-existent. Our broadband is fibre optic but due to our location speeds will never match those available in towns or city’s, but is often 6-10mbps download speed. There is access to an Electric Vehicle charging point on site, access subject to availability( guest can use as long as the host vehicle doesn't need to use it!)
Halse is a village that includes a conservation area at its centre, and is peaceful. We are on a no through road so the only traffic that passes are people who live along the lane.

A double room in a town house, the room is bright and newly decorated. There are two single beds, a hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, storage, TV and wifi. A continental breakfast is available upon request. I will issue you with a key to the room upon your arrival so your privacy and security are ensured. A washing machine and dryer are available for stays of over 28 days. I have two cats, Casper and Peanut who have the freedom of the house but do not go in the guest room.
Free on street parking is available. There is an hourly bus service to Taunton. The house has the usual amenities ie hot /cold water, central heating and wifi. The bathroom has a bath with a good over the bath shower. There is space in the garage for bicycles.
Cotford St Luke is a quiet, modern village nestling at the foot of the beautiful, gently rolling Quantock Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is a shop in the village and a very popular pub, The Chapel, a Grade 11 listed building and converted chapel, serving delicious Thai food, wood fired pizzas and the best of British cuisine.

Set in an almost secret valley on the edge of Exmoor but only 8 miles from Taunton the Hoccombe valley is the place to unwind. At night the only noises are the hoot of owls the sound of running water from the mill stream and snuffling of nocturnal wildlife. On clear nights as there is no light pollution, the skies are inky black and dotted with a million stars. The cottage itself has the feel of country living whilst retaining the comfort of a modern home - light and airy in the summer -warm and cosy in the winter. The modern paintings on the walls and the careful design of each room have been put together with an eye for style and comfort. The sitting room has French windows leading out to a terrace and the garden. The Mill house adjacent is the home of the owners who are on site if needed. Parents of young children should be aware that there is both a river and a pond close to the cottage. Hoccombe Cottage is a small detached barn which was converted at the end of the 80’s. It has been refurbished more recently to make a stylish and comfortable base for two couples or a family wishing to explore the delights of Somerset. Our space is a quirky, comfortable, light and airy single storey cottage set in a Somerset village on the outskirts of Taunton. Parking is free and on street. The village shop and post office is next door; village pub nearby; the town centre is a 5 minute drive. We do not offer breakfast, but the village shop is right next door if you want to grab a pie!
The bedroom is small, comfortable and warm - a lovely 3 foot single John Lewis orthopaedic mattress will ensure a good night's sleep. We have good, reliable, WiFi, and the room has a chest of drawers and hanging space for your use as well as a small desk. The bathroom is opposite the bedroom; during your stay you will have first call on this. There is also a separate , additional toilet next to the bathroom. You also have use of a small pantry containing a fridge and a microwave. We welcome walkers and cyclists. There is secure parking on the premises for your bike. We do have a cat, so please keep your bedroom door closed if you do not want her to socialise! The village shop is next door and includes a post office. There is also an independent butcher selling some food and drink to go. Village stores and PO opening times are Mon - Sat 7.30am - 6pm, Sun 8am - 12 noon. There is a small Co-op 12 mins walk away, open 7 days a week, 7am - 11pm.

The annexe is light, private and quiet. It is completely self-contained with its own entrance and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It sleeps up to four people (in a double bed and a futon) and is ideal for a family, or a couple. Set in a beautiful garden, with private parking outside the front gate available at all times for our guests, you can unwind and enjoy the slow comforts of Somerset! We are a short walk to town and all amenities. There is also a Tescos only five minutes walk away.
We overlook French Weir park and the river Tone. There are extensive fields across the river, giving the location a peaceful, rural feel even though we are only eight minutes walk from the town centre, which has all the facilities of a County town.

There is direct access to public footpaths across the farm land & common land leading to the Southwest Coastal Path. Lots of characterful original features, log burner, kitchen, large double bed, and Wi-fi. Nearby to many natural beauty spots, including the Quantock hills, Steart Marshes and the Jurassic coastline at Kilve beach (ideal for fossil hunters).
Previously a working farm building dating back to the 1600s, the Dairy at Zine Farm has been lovingly converted into a self-contained 1 bed apartment with its own lounge and fully equipped kitchen and tons of original character thanks to its exposed wooden beams and original stone walls. Also, we're dog friendly, so your furry friends are most welcome to stay with you. Kitchen area includes: Large fridge freezer, Electric oven and grill, microwave, kettle, toaster, plates and cooking utensils Lounge: Sofa Multi-fuel stove with logs included Dining table and chairs TV with Freeview Wi-Fi Bedroom: Large double bed with bedside lights and dresser table. Bathroom: Toilet, basin and shower with shampoo and soap included. Washing Machine and Iron are available upon request from the main farm house. We live in the main farmhouse opposite the property and are very flexible to make your stay hassle free whenever able. The Cart shed, Located on a working hill farm on the Brendon hills on the edge of Exmoor. Rural and remote, if you like the outdoors this is the place for you. A Camping barn that sleeps 4, a couple more on request. Open plan apart from the bathroom. Heated and with hot water, a Log burner also. Bring your own bedding! We are located at the end of a long( steep in places) farm track, bumpy with loose stone. the may be farm animals about also.
A converted stone barn at the bottom of a steep bumpy lane, with fitted kitchen bathroom with bunkbeds you are required to bring your own bedding, sleeping bags recommended. Hot and cold running water, and heating. We do also have a travel cot if required.

Sunnybank is not your normal holiday cottage but a luxury villa-style holiday property accommodating 8 guests in comfort. Situated in the lee of Penncross Hill, just outside of the village of Hemyock, Sunnybank commands stunning views of the Culm Valley and surrounding Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sunnybank is located near enough Hemyock for convenient access to its shops, pubs and amenities but far enough away to make this a secluded rural retreat ideal for a peaceful holiday. Sunnybank has been furnished to a very high standard with all the needs of holiday guests in mind. There is an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen opening out onto one of the two garden patios, ideal for relaxed holiday living. There are 4 spacious bedrooms 2 with en suite shower rooms and 2 share a large family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. This self-catering villa offers light and airy accommodation all on one level (apart from one step into and out of the dining area) and would make an ideal venue for a family get-together or celebration. I have 2 rooms to let, the double room is on a separate listing. There is eventually, a third room (double) which I let occasionally - just ask!) This house is a 1930s semi with an elegant, open plan but cosy feel. The rooms are double glazed, warm and comfortable. I like antique furniture and gardening. My room and private sitting room are downstairs.
The house is on a main road but set well back from the street. Musgrove Park Hospital is a 10-15 minute walk. The town centre is 1 mile away. There is a 07h-23h Co-op supermarket almost opposite and 2 service stations, one selling Costa coffee and Subway snacks. Bishops Hull park and village is around the corner leading to the pleasant country walking area of Netherclay.

Once you have arrived you will have your own set of keys so can come and go as you please. My stairs are quite steep, so please be aware if booking with small children or others who might find that difficult!
This is a really good place to use as a stop off if you are heading down to Devon or Cornwall, being close to the M5 (j26) and between 2 and 3 hours from London and the Midlands. It's also a good base to explore the lovely local Blackdown Hills, and not too far from Dorset and North Devon coasts, and Dartmoor.

The house is within 10 minutes walk of the centre of Wellington, a beautiful town with much to offer in the way of independent shops. Just 3miles from Junction 26 on the M5, 8 miles from and 25 miles from Exeter. Excellent road and rail connections.
Guests can expect a warm welcome, a safe and secluded environment and are free to come and go as they choose. This is a non-smoking household which does house an elderly dog, Bobby, who is a gentle, and somewhat deaf, dog.
Wellington is home to many independent shops, a beautiful park, the nature reserve at Wellington Basins and, obviously, the tallest three sided obelisk in the world! The Wellington Monument, currently being restored by the National Trust. Wellington also has a community hospital and is just 20 minutes drive from Musgrove Hospital in Taunton.

A double en suite room with TV and Wifi. It’s a great budget room for one person comfortably, two is cosy as its a 4ft double bed but the price may make it worth it to you! The room is in a self contained annex to the main house with one other air bnb room sharing a dining area and kitchenette. Breakfast is included. The space is popular for those who want to shower, sleep and go - ideal for cyclists, walkers, for those passing through or staying locally on a budget and especially HPC workers.
My space is aimed at people who want to crash for one or two nights or who want a room as a base for longer. There are two rooms - this being the smaller - both are modern, recently built, clean, and each room has an en-suite, TV and Wifi and a wardrobe. There is a fridge and a microwave in the shared kitchenette. The rooms are designed to be aimed at people who need a clean and comfortable bed, a shower but who aren't requiring an 'experience' like four poster beds or bacon breakfasts. There is oodles of parking. The rooms are slightly separated from the main house so you can have privacy or interaction - whichever you prefer - but this makes it easy for you to come and go when you wish. We could be like ships that pass in the night as I work out of the village but I am always on the end of the phone if needs be. The rooms operate very much stand alone so I may not be around when you arrive but this is made easy with a key safe and self entry. I try to make a point of saying hello but with my timings and guests’ itineraries we could possibly miss each other too. Unlimited tea and coffee facilities are in the communal area. There is also a small dining/seating area which is shared with the other room. Breakfast is provided (cereals, yoghurts and toast) but if you prefer there are also cafes both within walking distance or a car drive to beach or hillside cafes. I can advise you of the tried and tested places! I am in the centre of Williton but tucked away - the size and privacy of the house and garden is always a surprise. The garden is a work in progress and is slowly being tamed but you are welcome to sit out in it should you wish, either with breakfast or a glass of wine. Plenty of space for dogs to run around if you are bringing your fluffy friend with you (£5 fee tba). Cyclists and walkers are very welcome and I am increasing the facilities for these guests each year. The space has been popular with walkers, cyclists, people who crash as a stop off on a long journey to Cornwall, wedding visitors, Watchet Festival visitors and people working locally. If you are here for work - particularly Hinkley - I am happy to discuss long stay arrangements. I like to give any long stayers value for money if I can and the rooms are ideal for anyone who needs a clean, tidy place to sleep between busy periods of work or cycling or walking etc. If you need a bank, cafe, fish and chips, groceries, Indian supper, beer, hairdressers, post office, old fashioned iron mongers, country clothing or petrol they are a few minutes walk away. You can take a 15 minute walk to the Quantocks or Exmoor to start your day or take the steam train from the local station to a destination on the line and start there. The Coleridge Way, MacMillan Walk and South West Coast Path, as well as the West Somerset Coast Path are all within nodding distance. The Quantocks are popular with cyclists, there is a Jurassic beach full of fossils within a 5 minute drive and a plethora of places to pique your interest and I am happy to advise on any of these.
If you love the countryside then it is perfect. As well as convenient access to the Quantocks and Exmoor we also have the local beaches. At Doniford, you can not only walk for miles long the beautiful coastline but hunt for fossils. Why not walk to Watchet, enjoy a cafe meal and walk back over the hill? Or swim at Minehead. You can walk or cycle directly onto either the Quantocks or Exmoor from here. There are lots of local interest spots within striking distance, the nearest being Dunster Castle and Coleridge Cottage if you like history. You can explore the coastline or the countryside without being too far away from 'civilisation' or too far a journey away from the M5. Watchet has a marina, popular music venues and pubs. There are several pubs in Williton for food and drink too. The West Somerset Railway has a station in Williton from which you can access the line in both directions.

Ideal for walkers, the recently designated Coleridge Way starts from the National Trust owned Coleridge Cottage in the neighbouring village of Nether Stowey. For cyclists, the Quantocks have miles of cycling trails and here at the Granary we can offer plenty of storage for biking equipment. For birdwatchers and walkers alike, we are within 15 minutes' drive of the stunning new Steart Marshes reserve, run by the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust.
We are in a rural location, with the Quantock Hills within less than a 5 minute drive and a Forestry Commission Forest just down the road. Coleridge Cottage, a National Trust Property, is in the nearby village of Nether Stowey. The stunning new nature reserve at Steart Marshes is less than 15 minutes away, as is North Somerset's Jurassic Coast.

The lodge has the advantage of standing alone as a separate, private building. The interior of the lodge and its rooms are all newly appointed. The lodge has a small private outdoor space accessible via patio doors.
