This is a great apartment to escape to. The neighbourhood is incredibly quiet and beautiful, but close to necessities - groceries, coffee, and the Gallery Walk. The apartment has all the necessities, with a beautiful outlook. It's a great place for a quiet retreat - a perfect place to watch the mist roll through the mountain.

This is a fantastic place. John was great, good communication and met us there then left us to it. The cottage is to the rear of the house and is lovely and quiet. It is very modern yet feels like you are living in the middle of the rainforest, highly recommend it.

Do not hesitate to book Olde Eagle Heights. John was very thorough in explaining the lay out of the unit and gave us some helpful suggestions as to what to see and do. This AirBnB is ideally located at Mount Tamborine. It was an easy walk into the townsite and the area was very scenic. Having morning coffee on the patio to listen to the birds and have total privacy left us feeling we didn't want to leave. The unit was very well equipped with lots of dishes, towels etc. And it was very clean. We consider John to be our "new" friend. Pictures matched the real thing and quality of restoration was excellent.

The Shingles is a great place to go to get away from it all. The property was beautifully presented, clean and everything I could want was provided for. The location was quite central making it easy to get around. John is a wonderful host, taking the time to help his guests feel welcomed and settled and making himself available if anything else is required during your stay. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a little piece of paradise to escape to.

We had a great stay in Brian and Eliza's Yurt. Everything was as described - convenient position, quiet, spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. Eliza was very friendly and very accommodating. Brian and Eliza's communication was excellent, from the booking process through to the time we left. Many thanks Eliza and Brian.

Our hosts greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Showed us around the Yurt and filled us in on all the information we needed. It rained a lot so we unfortunately missed the stunning gold coast views but it was lovely being up in the clouds. Thank you - Chris & Leigh

Brian and Eliza's home was excellent! Eliza was very welcoming and the house was clean, tidy and had a wonderful view from the bedroom. We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who would appreciate a welcoming accommodation in a lovely, quiet setting.

Brian & Eliza's place was quite comfortable and perfect for my stay in the area. They were warm and welcoming hosts and made sure I was well looked after. The house is well equipped and would provide a good base for either a short or long stay.

Catherine was extremely helpful especially considering we were running late. There was a care package on the front veranda with keys and chocolate. I'd happily stay there again next time I'm in the area.

You will need a car if you intend to stay here. Privacy is ok but you can here the owners upstairs moving around. The room was clean and useful to us as we were only there overnight.

We had an unbelievable time staying at Sheila's! Not only was the apartment comfy and cozy but Sheila was friendly and incredibly accommodating, truly above and beyond expectations! The views are absolutely beautiful and walking through the little orchard on the properly, picking fresh fruit for breakfast made it really special! It's a fantastic location near vineyards, supermarket, pub, restaurants and antique shops. We love Mount Tamborine and I have no doubt that, if they'll have us, we will be visiting this property again in the near future!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! :)

We loved our stay at Sheila's. It is in a beautiful location which is quiet & secluded yet it is an easy walk to lovely cafes and North Tamborine Village. The views & gardens at Sheilas are amazing. A beautiful property with large garden and fantastic views. Well situated with plenty of restaurants, walks and attractions just down the road. Max and Sheila are very friendly and very good hosts. Clean, spacious and comfortable. We only spent a weekend but it felt like we had gone far away and had a relaxing getaway. No sink in the kitchenette, noise can be heard from the main house.

Host Canessa ensured that our every need was catered for during our stay. The morning food basket ms were a pleasant surprise as was the fresh corn. The tour of the farm was also a nice touch and very informative. Our disappointment was that we had to leave! Thoroughly recommended.

Vanessa's airbnb is in a cute little granny flat off the main house. It has all the amenities you need plus she gives you a wonderful breakfast basket each morning. The house is within walking distance of most walks around Mount Tamborine and is close by to local restaurants and shops. Overall, the experience exceeded all expectations. The granny flat is lovely, very well equipped with all that you need, as well as there being a welcoming basket of food that means you can eat breakfast without going out. The surroundings are lovely and the place is very quiet while conveniently placed for visiting places on Mt Tambourine. And of course Vanessa is a wonderful host - warm, welcoming, helpful and very very hospitable. We are planning a return visit - and that is all you need to know!

Great place with all its needs and a pool to cool off in on those hot summer days! Private entrance and all. The best thing is that it's walking distance to coffee shops and dinner places. Don't need to worry about driving after a few drinks at dinner! The host was very lovely. Definitely recommend.

We had a very relaxing stay, waking up to incredible views of the mountains. The apartment felt very private, with its own front alfresco/patio area. Everything was very clean, tidy and new. Sigi made us feel extremely welcome and helped to share information about visiting rainforests in the area. She truly made us feel at home. The DVD collection, iced chai, fresh fruit and cold water on arrival was a nice touch. We highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet, safe and relaxing stay in the mountains. Jose and Sigi have a wonderful home - the room (like a mini-apartment) was very private, and had incredible views. The hosts themselves were very warm and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.

Sigi was lovely to deal with, very responsive and informative. Good information left in the room about the surrounding area for those like myself who aren't familiar. Facilities appear to have only been recently renovated, everything is very new and clean. Outstanding views to wake up to each morning or sit out on the private balcony of an evening and enjoy with a glass of wine. Would have no hesitation in returning or recommending to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxed spot to get away.

Jose and Sigi's place was a perfect get away. It was so nice to be amongst the trees relaxing on the balcony with locally bought wine and cheese watching the sunset. Sigi was very welcoming and her place was extremely clean and tidy.

Jose and Sigi were awesome hosts! We felt welcome from the moment we arrived at their home and Sigi went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met. The photographs we were able to capture at their beautiful place had our friends in awe! The scenic drive is just the cherry on the top. We stayed at Exhale for a girls long weekend and thought it was the perfect accommodation. The room overlooks the most spectacular view of the Tambourine mountains and Gold Coast. It was a beautifully designed and decorated space, and the amenities and supplies provided were well beyond expectations (the breakfast supplies were greatly appreciated)! Whilst Exhale is a little away from the 'main tourist' areas of the mountain, the peace and serenity upon returning from a big day exploring was perfection, and it was easily accessible with our car (for those without a car though, the local company 'Bauman's Bus' was also a great recommendation by Julia - $30 per couple, per day and Ray, the bus driver, will pick you up and drive you around as much as you need, from all over the mountain). Anyone going to Mount Tambourine should definitely stay at Exhale, we will definitely return!

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à Exhale et nous sommes revenus à la maison sentiment rafraîchi et détendu! Le logement était magnifique avec une vue fantastique et nous avons vraiment apprécié l'intimité que nous avions dans l'unité, pas besoin de fermer les rideaux ici. This is a great location near all the sights in Mount Tamborine. The apartment is private with great access to the pool which we enjoyed each evening. Hosts are very generous, and make you feel at home. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed seven nights here and although we didn't actually meet Sharon Lee, communication was very friendly, easy and prompt via email/phone and Geoff gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable with no traffic noise plus a large garden to stroll around and we took up the invitation to help ourselves from the fruit trees. There was lots of information about local and more distant attractions available as well as some good books to read. The location was spot on for us to explore the area and we would definitely recommend it to others. The Spice of Life cafe makes great coffee. Thank you Sharon Lee and Geoff for being so helpful and generous it was a pleasure to stay with you.

Unfortunately we stayed at Marjorie's place only for one night, we should have stayed longer. The gazebo overlooks a river and on a full moon night it looked beautiful. A nice place to just sit down with friends and get a drink. The place is a well done up /renovated 3 bed apartment with a swimming pool and all the required amenities. Marjorie had kept the place ready for us with barbecue ready to use and a complementary bottle of wine. It was also quite easy to communicate and Marjorie was able to arrange a late check in since she lives next door. We would definitely recommend staying here in Gold Coast especially if you are going to the theme parks.

What a great Airbnb, wish we were able to stay longer. A great location with lovely gardens looking out onto the lake. You can relax and take it all in from the many vantage points such as the Gazebo, from the pontoon on the water relaxing or fishing or sitting around the pool. Marjorie's attention to detail is second to none. Three large, well appointed and modern bedrooms with large comfortable beds. Lots of extra touches from the complimentary drinks in the fridge with a bottle of milk to a bbq with all the tools, an outdoor fridge and a covered outdoor eating area. A great experience and would highly recommend this to anyone.

Marjorie's place was incredible, the rooms were beautifully presented and clean. The gardens & pool area were lovely and the shared gazebo had a great view of the river where you could watch the boats. It's like staying in a mini hotel, I would definitely stay here again.

7 of us toured Tamborine wine tasting and stayed at the Yurt afterwards. Eliza the host was extremely helpful, welcoming and kind. The Yurt was spotless and everything was catered for. Great value too. Would definitely return.

The location was great for our purpose of overnight accommodation following a day on the mountain. Very clean and comfortable with caring hosts. Great views to the Gold Coast!

Eliza and Brain were very hospitable and warm-hearted. We did a lot of interesting chatting with Eliza, she is a very nice and beautiful lady. We were happy to live there and meet the couple! The place is very large with a gorgeous view on the top of the mountain!

Good description of the property. Arrived in the afternoon and was greeted immediately. We had a 45 minute look around the house and a cup of herbal tea before we had to leave to get some shopping A great experience in a large, clean wing of the house. We will be back in the future, already looking forward to it. A great host.

Diana was very friendly and welcome us warmly to her place. She gave us a tour of her house and ensure we had everything we needed and even changed the towels for us on the third day of our stay knowing we will still be around for a few more days.

Awesome apartment with all facilities in good working condition. Hosts were friendly and approachable and always willing to provide advice whenever we need. Really have nothing else to ask for! Location was good too, within 20 mins drive from most popular attractions, and the neighbourhood was safe to stay. Was really a excellent experience staying with Anna and her partner. Thanks for offering such a great place! =)

Fabulous secluded venue with friendly hosts

It was a lovely unit. Comfy bed, big bathroom, plenty of room. Lovely hosts. The only thing was coming through gate we couldn't see the step near gate or steps walking down path but everything else was great!

Welcomed when we arrived and helped us with our luggage. Fresh towels when needed and gave us full respect and privacy. Really enjoyed the location too being so close to theme parks and Westfield shopping plaza. Everything we needed within 5 mins drive.

Fantastic location to Theme Parks and Malls. The accommodation is in a lovely location with a pleasant view. Tastefully finished and themed. Anna's communication was fantastic, and Jason was brilliant at check-in and during the stay. Seem to be a lovely, genuine couple, who are approachable and friendly. My daughter loved the chance to play with the wee dogs, and I imagine spending more time here than the theme parks would have been quite relaxing! A great place to come home to after the hustle and bustle of anywhere else! Highly recommended! Thanks to Anna and Ryan. D

it's very flawless experience whilst my family stay Nola's house. good cost performance and hospitality host.but also a very comfortable bed ,you must have car so you can go to Surfer Paradise in 10-15min.
