This place is just wonderful!

The Cozy Garage Apartment was a lifesaver for my family of three. We moved out of our house in Papillion in anticipation of relocating to North Bend. Unfortunately, the closing on our house was delayed so we were in a tight spot when our son was scheduled to start school in North Bend. I chatted with Nancy about our predicament and she was very accommodating! We stayed for 10 days and would have loved to stay longer but Nancy's little apartment in Fremont is a hot commodity! The space has 2 separate bedrooms along with two living areas, which was perfect considering I was able to watch scary movies downstairs while my son played his PlayStation upstairs. The Internet was also fast enough to keep up with streaming live Cubs games (I watch all of them), playing movies on Amazon, Netflix, or Hulu, and PlayStation Plus on the TVs, and Wifi for multiple devices, i.e., iPads, iPhones, etc. The snacks and drinks were a nice touch too! Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and deserves a highly recommended rating in my book. The House Rules list displayed in the kitchen is hilarious so make sure you take the time to read it!

Mike and Donna are great hosts with a ton of local knowledge to share. My husband enjoyed a field trip with Mike to the mobile co-op and was introduced to some of the guys that run the local mill. Everyone is very friendly and my husband and I can't wait to finally move here! It was relaxing to sit on the porch and enjoy a conversation for a change! Hoping to turn this connection into a lasting friendship

Very relaxing and well equipped house on a small lake. We couldn't have asked for anything better for our visit with our daughter who lives a few miles away. Host communicated very well and left us lots of staple items to make our stay quite pleasant. The screened in porch was the perfect place to relax with our dogs.

The house was great! In a small little town, but the gated community was gorgeous. They kept the house very clean and well organized. Kitchen utensils were very easy to find! Bedrooms were made up well, and we had plenty of space for 4 couple to each have their own room. The basement is unfinished, but they did a great job of making the bedroom area down there as nice as possible. We would LOVE to come back next year, and make out college reunion a yearly thing!

Fran and Barney were the perfect hostess and host. They welcomed us into their beautiful home, willing to make us comfortable, anticipating any possible need during our stay. Although it was a brief layover, we thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and their kindness.

From the moment we arrived at Fran & Barney's wonderful Lake House, we we felt right at home. They were spectacular people. We had more amenities then we could ask for. The house was super clean and has the most gorgeous lake view. They had breakfast for us each morning which was unexpected, but greatly appreciated. We even shared a wonderful Sunday Father's Day brunch with them on the deck overlooking the lake. Their home was a short drive to the College World Series. We didn't experience any traffic, and staying with them made our time in Omaha so much more enjoyable. The shower was pretty awesome and the beds were extremely comfy. You had a gorgeous vacation view from anywhere in the house. We had full access to the refrigerator, laundry room, fishing pools, pool table, etc. Fran & Barney were extremely accommodating to all our needs. We brought our 12 years old son with us who even got his own room. That was pretty awesome. Overall it was one of the best places we have stayed at. Thanks for the hospitality. Fran and her husband were amazing, accommodating, and generous hosts! They have a beautiful, spacious home that they obviously put a lot of love, thought, and time into just a little outside Omaha in a very peaceful community. They got me out of a real bind when my RV was damaged by hail and subsequent water damage leaving me with no place to stay at the last minute. They welcomed me into their home, allowed me to wash my soaked items from the RV, and offered unprecedented hospitality! I even awoke to them having switched loads and folded my laundry and having gone out of their way to provide a breakfast that met my food allergy needs despite my assurances that they didn't need to go out of their way. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay!

Fran and Barney listened to what we wanted out of our stay and did everything in their power to make it happen. Always suggesting restaurants and things to do in the area.

Fran and her husband were the most gracious hosts I could have imagined. They made a stranger feel at home, gave of their time and experience in the area, even provided snacks, for my jaunts to the city and coffee in the morning (and I am an early riser). The home is very new and fresh and overlooks a small lake. It has a very large deck where I sat and enjoyed a morning coffee and an evening view. Highly recommended.

Wow! My husband and I have stayed at a dozen Airbnb's and this was a stand-out experience. What a lovely space and even lovelier people. We loved having a quiet space to relax after exploring Omaha, and we also enjoyed running around the lake. We felt very comfortable and at home. We also appreciated the breakfast options in the morning. Thank you Fran! We hope to return during a warmer time of year!

Beautiful home overlooking the lake. Awesome stay with this couple! Fran was great with communicating with us while we were on the road coming into town. The house is a small drive outside of Omaha but totally worth it! When bad weather came into town, Fran text us making sure we were somewhere safe. We enjoyed our last night with a few drinks on the deck with this great couple! We go to Omaha annually for a dance competition and will definitely look to stay with Fran and Barney instead of a hotel in the future. It was a very family feel! We loved it!

"Practically perfect in every way" -Mary Poppins! We will definitely be back. Wonderful hosts. Beautiful view from deck of the lake and a nice 1.7 mile gravel path around the lake. Very peaceful quiet place to stay. Queen size bed was very comfortable and just the right sized bathroom for a couple. Everything was beautifully decorated. We enjoyed visiting with the hosts. All kinds of breakfast food & drinks to choose from. A Keurig coffe maker with an assortment of yummy coffee pods to choose from.

We loved staying at Chad's tiny house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We went hiking and watched the goats. Chad was very friendly and fun and helpful It is very nice to just sit outside the tiny house and watch birds and enjoy the trees. The Elkhorn river is a short walk away.

Our first Airbnb stay and it set the bar high! Chad and John were wonderful hosts and we really enjoyed the beauty of the property. So relaxing and peaceful. Feeding the goats was a fun experience and it was entertaining to watch all the animals on the property. The tiny house is adorable; we had everything we needed. The one regret is that we only stayed one night! Can’t wait to come back to this little piece of heaven.

Chad and John were wonderful hosts. Chad was flexible with check in/out times and provided us with so many things during our stay! He stocked the fridge with water and gave us farm fresh eggs, coffee, and chocolates! We felt right at home and were able to contact Chad with any needs. Th tiny house was small but also spacious enough to be able to relax. All the decorative touches made it very homey. If anyone is nervous spending a few nights on a farm with goats, don't be! You can be as close or as far away from the goats as you want! We were also able to spend some time socializing with Chad and John. We couldn't have asked for better hosts! Looking forward to staying in the tiny house again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay in the tiny home. It slept all three of us comfortably and we were amazed at the efficiency of the design! It was a fun and unique experience to be able to stay on a goat farm as well. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable experience in Omaha.

John was wonderful as a host! Perfectly accommodating with flexible check-in/check-out times, and cooks a mean country breakfast to boot! Enjoyed seeing the rare goats and chatting in the morning. The house is super-cute, cozy and comfortable. A totally unique and incredible experience all around. Places like this make me question why anyone would ever stay in a hotel. This was the quintessential Airbnb experience, smooth, positive, and once-in-a-lifetime fun. Stay here!!

Chad & John's tiny house was the perfect overnight stop on my way home from Colorado. Chad was super friendly, we crossed paths and briefly chatted when I arrived, while he was finishing up his farm chores with the goats! The tiny house was so cozy, I knocked out on the loft bed pretty quickly after a long day of driving. I would definitely stay again!

The property is just as described, the tiny house was so much fun! The bed was really comfortable, the place was immaculate and we had everything we needed. Chad and John were on site and checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They even let us help walk their awesome goats, which was an experience of a lifetime for us! Cant wait to return, what an awesome opportunity to escape the city for a weekend...

My husband and I had a great weekend at the Tiny house. It was very clean and comfortable. My husband thanked me for the weekend many times with the statement, "what a great idea this was". He especially loved walking the goats. Chad was a great host.

House was beautiful! Judith has amazing taste. She was flexible with our late arrival and our check out was smooth. I would love to stay there again.

We were in Omaha for the Olympic Trials and staying in hotels for 7 nights. We had booked the Rainforth Retreat for 2 of those nights. When we arrived at the house Judith greeted us and showed us around. The house is absolutely beautiful and the view is amazing. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. I had the opportunity to visit with Judith. She is an incredible person and I found myself wishing we had had more time together. The guys were able to get out on the lake using the kayaks and paddle board that Judith provided. Those two nights were the most relaxing part of our trip! I truly hope that we can visit again.

Judith was a wonderful host, flexible with check in, as we were driving in from out of town. Hospitable, and an all around wonderful person. The pictures do not do justice for her beautifully appointed home. We had a wonderful stay and would love for an opportunity to stay here again.

Judith was a wonderful host! She's very caring and wants to make sure you're comfortable with your stay. She lives just upstairs in case you need her for anything immediate, but she's so quiet you'll hardly know she's there! Her home is in a really great neighborhood. We were able to go for walks without any worries and the small lake and river area is beautiful. Made for a tranquil work trip!

Two of my friends / professional colleagues & I decided to drive from Dallas to Omaha to attend the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting. I was responsible for finding a place to stay. When I saw the labyrinth in the front yard of this listing, I knew this was it! My friends were not familiar w/ Airbnb & seemed somewhat apprehensive. (I am the property mgr for an Airbnb in DFW and knew Judith’s place would be far, far better than any hotel). We arrived, met Judith (the host) and toured the house. Judith was very warm and welcoming - we all felt instantly at ease with her. My friends were thrilled. The house is gorgeous - very peaceful – on the lake - has a steam shower and dry sauna - & of course, the labyrinth…. We had a busy schedule & it rained the entire weekend – so we couldn’t take advantage of everything. None-the-less, we had a wonderful stay – Judith was a fabulous host and Paco, her dog, was adorable. If you're considering staying at the Rainforth Retreat Center, BOOK IT! You will not regret it!
