We spent 10 nights in Oregon to attend the USATF Olympic Trials and truly enjoyed our stay at Sue’s basement apartment. This was our first Airbnb stay and Sue set the bar very high. We were greeted with freshly baked oatmeal raisin cookies and were given a loaf of zucchini bread and jars of blackberry jam on our departure. The apartment was very nice and the washer and dryer were invaluable on a 10 night stay. Sue and her family respect your privacy and are genuinely “good people.”

Sue's place is clean, spacious (for the 2 of us) and located beautifully! We appreciated her hospatality very much. Would go there again!

Sue's home is in a beautiful spot just on the outskirts of Cottage Grove. The basement apartment is very spacious and lets in a lot of natural light. The kitchen is great, and Sue is a wonderful host - offering us freshly baked cookies when we checked in! We would love to have stayed for longer, but had to leave after a couple of nights.

Sue greeted me with a warm smile and a plate of warm, delicious cookies! We communicated via text during my stay, which met my needs. The downstairs apartment has everything a person needs when traveling - including a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. I loved having a private entrance so I could come and go without disturbing my hosts. The home is situated in a beautiful setting in the hills above Cottage Grove. I took advantage of a sunny morning and sat outside in a lovely garden area.

Oh my goodness! This was my very first Airbnb experience and it was wonderful! Although the apartment was much bigger than I needed, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sue is an amazing host....and was sensitive to the specific need I had for solitude. (and of course, as everyone else states, the warm cookies bring a delicious ambience to the entire experience :). The apartment was lovely, well maintained, and the grounds are GORGEOUS! To open the blinds in the evening and see the evening sky, or watch the morning creep over the hills was truly a blessing. Deer freely roaming and an occasional gaggle of turkeys was a delight. The location is off the beaten track, in a well gated community in the hills surrounding Cottage Grove. I will be staying here again, and sharing this experience with anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Jeff and Barb were great hosts! We had a party of 10 that stayed in the tiny house and had some campsites. Jeff did everything in his power to accommodate us. He had some cold beverages waiting for us when we arrived and even stayed up to wait for us when we were late arriving. The tiny house is great - the kitchen had everything we needed with plates, bowels, silverware, mixing bowls, measuring cups, coffeemaker, a skillet, microwave, and hot plate. As it was summer we did not use the heated floors but the air conditioner worked great! Having access to a washer and dryer was extremely helpful because we were there for 10 nights. There is a lot of storage available in the tiny house as well. The tent sites we very nice! We were able to set up wherever we wanted. Jeff put little solar lights by each of our tents so we could find our way in the dark! The community area was wonderful - a nice fire pit, gas grill, and group tent with tables and chairs. We were able to mingle with other guests but also be on our own. There was a nice stash of paper bowels, played, plastic silverware, and plastic cups for everyone to use as well. We enjoyed the solar shower, what a neat thing! It was a little chilly the days it rained but at least we had access to a shower! Jeff and Barb also provided us with towels and wash clothes to use. Jeff set up a slip n slide for us that we were unfortunately not able to use because it got rainy the last few days of our stay. We did get the chance to try out the large swing and that was great fun! We didn't have to park too far away and it was well lit besides the solar lights at night. The wifi worked well enough, it wasn't super fast by any means but it was enough to get the job done. The are a few miles out of town so it wasn't spectacular service but it was service. Being out of town was worth it for not having fast internet - at night you could see so many stars and there was zero road noise! It was a great green view. Jeff and Barb gave us tips on things going on in town, places to go, and scenic routes to take instead of the main highways. Jeff came out and say by the campfire with us a couple times and is great to talk to! They have a few cute fluffy cats who wander around and let you pet them if they feel so inclined. They weren't all over you but nice to see if you are a cat lover. Overall, we had a great time at Jeff and Barbs! All ten of us would highly recommend them and sing their praises but since I have the Air BnB account it...

Quiet place that's very much as described. Jeff and Barb are very nice and good communicators. If you look at the pictures and read the descriptions there should be no surprises, I got exactly what I was expecting. Cell phone reception is limited in the area so plan accordingly. Lots of amazing hiking close by. Beautiful area and would definitely recommend. Great bargin for a private place thats not far from Eugene.

It was nice to have peace and quiet in the country. Jeff and Barb were very helpful when I needed them.

The description was very accurate but you don't really know what you are getting until you are there. It's a very unique place, self-contained with a separate entrance, though attached to the main house (and with access to a washer/dryer which I didn't use). Every inch of the house reflects Jeff's ingenuity and craftsmanship. I particularly liked the shower and kitchen with floor heat for comfort. The location can't be beat for beauty and serenity. I was lucky that the blackberries were ripe and Jeff encouraged me to help myself. Jeff is a remarkable guy and was very helpful dealing with some car issues I had. He bent over backwards to make me enjoy my stay. He and Barb were always accessible by text. We had several long and winding conversations which were an unexpected pleasure. I particularly valued the opportunity to experience "tiny house living" since I am considering building one. I got some great ideas just being in the space and also from Jeff.

Felt very welcoming. Place was the cleanest I've been in. Comfortable and well insulated. Will definitely stay again in the future! Was easy to find as well since hosts had a AIRBNB sign on the front mailbox. Do stay here!

Jeff and Barb are truly wonderful people who are very kind and welcoming. I have very much enjoyed staying with them. Their place is very clean and kept, peaceful, quiet, and safe. I adored their outdoor cats who were friendly! I got time to talk with both Jeff and Barb, and they were a pleasure to have conversation with. This is a great little spot only a few miles from Cottage Grove. It's out in the country with clean air and peace and solitude. Jeff went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially like the fresh fruit and english muffins. The refrigerator and cabinets are chock full of drinks and goodies. They even had eggs and yogurt for breakfast if needed. There is a great drip coffee maker and they even supplied coffee and filters in case you don't bring any. The bed is very comfortable. The place is on the small side but everything that's needed is there. Washer and dryer are available and easy to use. All the toiletries you need are also supplied. The WiFi works great but don't expect great cell phone service since you are in a rural area. But Jeff is about to solve that problem by installing a cell phone signal repeater. he was working on this during our stay. If you like the country and peace and solitude this place is for you.We will definitely return.

Jeff & Barb were wonderful and attentive hosts. They have a quaint "little house" in a secluded area to enjoy peace and quiet. The house was comfortable and the amenities were well thought out. Would definitely recommend.

Jeanette and her family were wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcome and at home from the start of our visit! The Close-in Country Retreat was recently remodeled and you can tell that the owners have put a lot of thought into making it comfortable for their guests. They were also very accommodating for our family by providing a tent and sleeping bags for some of our kids to enjoy the peaceful outdoor setting. In addition, they were very generous and let us do some laundry in their home. We would recommend staying here without hesitation, and would definitely stay again if we return to Eugene.

The place was great. Modern kitchen, small living room with pull out couch bed which was very comfortable. No springs in your back, big screen TV, large bedroom. Apartment is above a detached garage and is very private, but owners are just a few steps away in the main house if anything is needed. Jeanette is very laid back and a perfect host. The area is beautiful and peaceful, in the forest, but only 15 or so minutes to the university. Very, very clean. Only complaint is I had to attend my twin nephews' graduation so I couldn't relax and enjoy the nature surrounding me (I live in San Francisco so the nature was a real treat for me). I would definitely stay here again. It's the best place I've stayed in Eugene and over 4 years I've been there many times.

When we arrived the hosts were very friendly and cordial, showed us around, and really made us feel at home. The place was absolutely what we were led to expect, a clean, quiet, country retreat in the woods. Nice little kitchenette, comfortable bed. Bathroom, though tiny has a great shower. We'd suggest a shelf added to the wall for guest toiletries. Only other thing, I would put drapes on the windows.

The hosts are very pleasant and cooperative but happy to stay out of your way when you just want to enjoy the solitude the place offers. The loft is a gem but still not completely cut and polished. The first drive out will cause you to wonder if you should be laying a trail of crumbs but after the first trip into the woods the the trip is much shorter and you will quickly discover that just about everything you will need is available within about 5 or 6 blocks after the five mile drive through the forest. As the remaining facets are cut ( including a private deck overlooking a fountain and the woods) this place will be a real treat. For now it is wise to prepare for a few hours a day of construction noises but we did not find this to be a deal breaker.

The hosts contacted me about the reservation as soon as it went through and made me feel welcome and that they would be there to welcome me. Their property is beautiful and peaceful.

I didn't get to meet J.J but the house was clean and it looked at expected. We had a great weekend and will be booking it next time when we want to get away for a great weekend. Thank you!

Easy freeway access, the short drive to Eugene was well worth it. The studio is located off a beautiful country road with quiet and peaceful surroundings. The studio was cozy and comfortable, with a creative use of space. I slept super soundly in the warm soft bed. They provided all the extras, like popcorn, coffee makings, hot chocolate, pens, games, maps of the city, etc. I would love to stay here again.

Our accommodations were wonderful! The studio was comfortable, clean, and provided us with everything we needed after a long couple days of traveling and exploring the mountains. The location is charming, quiet and secluded, yet so accessible and close to town and the highways.

Clean and comfortable home in quite location Our group of 4 (2 couples) stayed in JJ's super cute cottage during our recent weekend stay in Eugene. The loft has a big comfortable bed and the pull out sofa bed and additional bedding provided worked perfect for the other adults. We were there to enjoy the beautiful nearby Mount Pisgah Arboretum for the spectacular walking trails and many photographing opportunities! And it is just down the road! The house is clean and comfortable and has everything you need yo feel at home. The property is quiet and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! In the mornings we saw squirrels, all types of birds and a turkey on the hill and that is just from the living room window! Very peaceful and private feeling but also very close to the freeway and minutes from everything in town!

We felt so welcome into Adriana's condo. The setting was exactly how she described, in the trees and quite cozy.

She was really accommodating and left a lot of useful info at the condo. Beds are comfy! Easy parking. Close drive to pretty much everything in Eugene.

Had a great stay at Sarah and Charles' studio! Would absolutely stay here again next time we pass through Eugene.

We had a wonderful stay at at Sarah and Charles' place. The place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Sarah was very accommodating in letting us use the washer and dryer. Plus it was fun to see the ducks and hens!

Their accommodations were great, we were all comfortable with lots of space. Having a dog was easy as well. Fresh eggs from their chickens was a huge bonus, we were really excited to cook them up for breakfast.

Sarah and Charles were great hosts, abs their studio is adorable. It had everything we needed. Our son was fascinated with the ducks and chickens in the yard, and they provided us an extra bed and a set of blocks for him. Their dogs are very sweet but they do bark, so if you're anxious around dogs ask them to put them inside.

Perfect for a road trip stop with our pup. It had everything we needed and the homegrown chicken and duck eggs were a lovely touch!

Coppertree house is SUCH an amazing gem of a spot. My husband and I couldn't have been happier with our stay. Everything about this lovely home oozes comfort and warmth, from the high end finishes to the amazing outdoor spaces (several decks/patios to sit and relax and enjoy the gorgeous wooded setting and the numerous water fountains). Even though the guest accommodations are on the bottom floor of the home, there is never an issue with privacy. The separate entrance and layout of the guest house make you feel as if you're in a private apartment. Even the smallest details haven't been missed, like the fresh coffee beans and grinder for morning coffee, and the super comfy memory foam mattress in the bedroom. As good as the pictures are in the listing, they really can't capture the true beauty of the home and surroundings (including the neighborhood, which is equally as beautiful). We can't say enough good things about this wonderful place, and John and Kevin couldn't have been more accommodating with our crazy schedule. We not only highly recommend this property, we're already planning our next trip back!

Kevin and John's ground level apartment is spacious and very clean. It has exceptional amenities and is a great value. Communicating with Kevin and John was easy though airbnb messaging, and when we created a problem of our own by locking ourselves out one afternoon (whoops!), John was simple to reach and quickly helped us resolve things. I would have no hesitation recommending their place.

This hidden gem of a home is a serene, lovely hideaway. It is close enough to Eugene to make driving into town a breeze, but it is far enough away to feel blissfully alone and free. The space is stunning and welcoming, complete with all new features and amenities. It is impeccably styled and stocked, with every feature considered. It is more than a home away from home; it is a luxurious retreat.

Kevin and John were very helpful; clear explanation on the unit. The unit had everything from great entertainment center, well equip kitchen and a Jacuzzi. Good neighborhood and location. Would definitely stay there again.

Truly a home away from home! This place had everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. We spent 4 nights here and it was very comfortable and there was a nice amount of room to move around in! The hot tub was awesome, but we were so busy we didn't get a chance to check out the indoor sauna! The bed was super comfortable and the shower was a DREAM! The place was super clean & well stocked. We really, REALLY enjoyed our stay! It rained the ENTIRE TIME so we weren't able to really enjoy the grounds or the patio much, but we would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Eugene!

Lovely apartment home in an upscale neighborhood just outside of town but a quick drive to all things Eugene. Hosts live upstairs and were quick to respond when needed. The decor is very nice and the bathroom is FANTASTIC! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly. A peaceful getaway with thoughtful amenities made our weekend in Eugene memorable.

This was our first Airbnb experience. Kate has set the bar high. The place was clean and inviting. The kitchen has everything you could need. I loved that she had coffee. It is a small detail but a very important one. The view was amazing. The kids loved running around on the property. I highly recommend staying here.

Kate's flat was lovely and exactly as described. Though, we thought it was even a little nicer than the pictures convey. The kitchen was so nice and fully outfitted that we ended up cooking in every night of our stay. We will definitely be back.

Kate did a wonderful job of making the flat feel inviting while also anticipating any possible needs/cravings we may have in the kitchen (teas, coffee, a few packages of snacks for our daughter, popcorn, etc) and in other areas by providing such luxuries as shampoos/conditioner/nice soaps/hair dryer/etc. Extremely comfortable bed, and the twin spare bed was very comfy for our daughter as well. She generously gave us range of the property, and it was wonderful to enjoy the trees and pond and various activities with the family, as our daughter and one of theirs were of age and loved played with each other. Very welcoming family who respected our space. Wonderful first experience w/ AirBnB. If we ever end up in the Eugene area, I'll be looking them up again!

Kate was there to welcome us and made us feel right at home. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we could have wanted or needed. The surrounding area was gorgeous and the chairs around the lily pond were great to relax in after a busy day of wine tasting! We both had a wonderful time - thank you Kate!

Kate's place looks like what my place will look in a few years. Kate is actually my neighbor here in the timbered hills southwest of Eugene. My wife and I live on a relatively undeveloped rural parcel. Visiting Kate's place provided me with a lot of ideas about what our Eugene home will look like - serene, well-maintained, and spacious. One of our daughters stayed two nights at Kate's during the Christmas holiday. She has a stressful job in Portland, but after a couple of nights at Kate's she looked better-rested than I've seen her in years. Kate was a wonderful host. We'll no doubt be reserving with her again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay while up there for an Oregon Duck football game. Good location and quiet neighborhood. Clean and comfortable. Lots of choices for food nearby.

Erin's place was great! Such a unique layout and plenty of space for my party of two. It felt comfortable and cozy and it was very clean. Erin did a really great job of making us feel welcome and all the information we needed to lock the place up, check in, check out, etc... was right there. This property definitely added to an already great trip to Eugene for the Olympic trials at Hayward field! I highly recommend this place and Erin as a host!

The space is great, there is a comfortable bed, a big couch and also they could give you a mattress if you need it. They are very friendly and can help you in whatever that you need. the bathroom is clean, and the kitchen has all what you could need.

Erins place suited our needs well. We got in late at night after dinner at Track town pizza to find the place all setup for us. The main bed was very comfy with great sheets. The airbeds for our daughters were made up very well with lots of padding. They almost felt like real mattresses. The towels were nice too. The room was just what I expected and better(due to the attention given to the air mattresses). There was coffee and sugar for us. Bring your own creamer if you use it. We would stay there again.

Quiet and cozy space, bedroom is pleasantly dark and loved having a heating pad to help melt the day away. Easy short drive or ride from downtown.

My friends and I enjoyed staying here, however I would recommend staying here with a group smaller than 4 (the air mattress wasn't the most comfortable). But very sweet and friendly hosts - would come back again!!

The home is pretty close to the university. Very quiet with trees around. The check in and check our process was very simple and clear. Erin made sure the home is setup perfectly before we came. It was very easy to communicate with Erin during the reservation process. As the home is in the basement the light is low and is a little dark. It was perfect for our stay though as it was quiet and close to the university.

Roxanne was very response and the accommodations were very cozy. The suite was well stocked with coffee and tea and had all the dishes needed to make a simple meal. the neighborhood was quiet, but close to restaurants and stores.

The apartment was just fantastic. Best value for an overnight stay in Eugene in my opinion. Very neatly decorated, comfortable bed, nice shower and laundry facilities too. No TV in the apartment which is fine with me. WIFI worked great. Walking distance to an amazing bakery/cafe and just 10 minute drive from downtown.

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon. The place was so nice! The pictures do not capture how cute this place is. +Roxanne was super accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Roxanne's place was just the perfect spot for us to land temporarily while we waited for our house to close in Eugene. The studio apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is access to laundry, some basic cooking supplies, and we appreciated that it was dog friendly. Roxanne was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We'd recommend to others!

Roxanne's studio has real class. I felt calm and safe there with my kids. Before checking out, I took a moment to enjoy the morning sun streaming in through the bathroom window. It grounded me and helped me prepare for a challenging day of local tourism.

Don's tiny house was delightful and felt very secluded and private. It was a beautiful place to wake up on Christmas morning!

Had a great time at the cozy round house. It was located just a couple minutes walk from the bus that takes you down town, and walking distance to the grocery store. The fridge and kitchen utilities were conveniently located. The yurt was clean and ready for me when I arrived and I found my host to be polite and attentive. I loved Eugene, and plan on staying at this location again when I come back to visit. Thanks!

Don made us feel very welcome and provided us with detailed instructions prior to arrival. We met Don upon arrival and he gave us a small tour of the property and some suggestions on how to spend our day in Eugene. It was very clear that Don was passionate about Eugene and wanted to share this with his visitors.

The roundhouse was simply amazing. I'm a local and just needed a quiet getaway for the weekend and this was the perfect spot. The entire property was fantastic, from the wonderful penny covered floor to the frogs singing into the night from the nearby pond. I will be coming back again in the future for a longer stay, so I can truly enjoy this place.

We had the most peaceful night of rest staying in the round house. Comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood, love the penny floor. Don was available if we had questions and respected our privacy as well. Would stay again.

If you watched any episode of Wallace and Gromit, you will have a good sense of what is expecting you in the roundhouse. The house is full of creative surprises and it is clear that Don is investing a great effort in shaping the space where he lives and hosts according to his vision. This is all complimented by the presence of Boston, a very sweet dog who is always there to greet you in the mornings. I spent two lovely and very productive weeks in Eugene, and if you, like me, are looking for a peaceful place to write ,this is a perfect fit.

We had a great time at Don's roundhouse. The place was just what we were looking for while moving from northern California to Washington. We were so happy our cat was allowed to stay with us. We weren't there for too long because we arrived late and had to leave early in the morning, but our time in the roundhouse was pleasant and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The place was perfect. Super cute, comfy, and clean. Jennifer had everything you could ever need. She even made us delicious cookies. I was super impressed overall.

I could have a good time staying in Eugene for 4days because Jennifer's place was so comfortable, good access to everything I needed there. Also Jennifer is always quick to response whatever and whenever I send messages to ask something I need to know and to get. She was so kind to let me use her rice cooker and sewing machine, too! However she always responds me quickly, she never interrupts me and gave a privacy as much as I needed. If I come back to Eugene again, I will try her place again!

The entire apartment was very clean and cozy! It was quiet and Fran was very quick to respond to any questions that we had.

From the first contact with Fran our plans for a stay in Eugene, Oregon was off to a great start. We received information and updates promptly and accurately and when we arrived, WOW, we were so excited at the accommodations! We were very comfortable with all the ammenities (we prefer a firmer bed to be completely honest, but for a short stay it was fine). We will definitely recommend this property to others and are already planning a trip back.

Ibrahim was a great host. The place was very clean and comfortable. He and his wife even left some snacks for us in the kitchen (bread, oatmeal, coffee). The apartment looked out onto a beautiful green belt, and there were even some deer sightings. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable 3 night stay for our daughters graduation. Ibrahim, who is a law professor at UofO, and his wife were very hospitable with large baskets of fruit and bread. Water and drinks, butter were in the fridge. The house is in an upscale area and the apartment has a private entrance. Rooms are reasonable sizes and the mattresses were very comfortable.

Everything about Ibrahim's Place was amazing. They had everything that you would need, a wonderful home, and astonishing kindness for their renters. Pros: -Amazing view -Great location -Super friendly interactions -Comfortable home -etc. Cons: -Nothing, everything was better than we could have hoped for.

Staying at Ibrahim's place was very comfortable and convenient. The apartment is in his home in a beautiful Eugene neighborhood and enjoys a big beautiful patio in back of the house overlooking a lovely wooded valley. The apartment and grounds are beautifully maintained, very clean and very comfortable. This is a lovely place to stay and we would stay again without hesitation. En los últimos cuatro años he hecho muchos viajes a Eugene, visitando a mi hija que ahora tiene un mayor en la U de O, siempre viajando airbnb. He visto cada viaje es una oportunidad para mí para ofrecerle alguna refugio de la vida universitaria. En este viaje Fue mi buena fortuna de estancia en la hermosa apta de Ibrahim. Tranquilo, limpio y cómodo, con todas las comodidades del hogar, además de sus dones de pan, fruta fresca y café ... mucho más de lo que esperaba. Era un refugio con vistas a las colinas cubiertas de árboles. Estaba especialmente tomado por los toques personales que no eran más que una pequeña indicación de la gran generosidad de Ibrahim. Estoy muy agradecido por la hospitalidad que yo y mi hija mostró.

Ib is a very generous host. He makes sure that my companion and I are comfortable in all aspects. He is a very kind person. He made us feel like we are part of his family and goes all his way out just to make sure that we are safe since we are new in this lovely community. His house is perfect in terms of the view, the flora and fauna and also all the ammenities inside it. I coundn't ask for more. This place is one of the best that I've ever been.
