From the moment that we (myself and my two sons 10y & 9y) had walked through the door we were welcomed with open arms! They assured our timely arrival to the airport by being our wake-up call, AND it was an early departure! They made a homemade lemon cake treat for my boys breakfast with hot chocolate...every boys breakfast wish! The accommodations were lovely and so comfy...off to dreamy land in mere minutes! Sean was quick to carry in our luggage and upon departing he carried them out again. We had lovely conversations in between getting ready in the morning. Thank you for sharing your house with us! When we need a place to stay in Calgary it'll surely be at your house!! Thank you both! You are very lovely souls and so very thoughtful in all aspects of welcoming us in!
The stay was wonderful. Hosts are the nicest people I've met through airbnb and they even prepared me a light breakfast. Definitely recommend if you're looking for an inexpensive stay.

Sean's place is very cute, cozy and everything is good enough. Also Sean is so nice and I got a very warm welcoming. She prepared everything also the chocolate and nuts. As I was leaving in the early morning. She prepared a piece of cake for me specially. I feel I was still living at home. Thank you so much. If I will come to Calgary next time i will choose Sean 's place again.

A great central location. The apartment has everything you need and the host was very responsive to any questions we had.
We had a great stay and highly recommend this rental! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and the building entry and elevator was secured by a key fob. The balcony had a great view and was bigger than expected. The kitchen was very well equipped and organized; all the drawers and cabinets were labeled so we had no problem making ourselves at home in the kitchen. The location is perfect; it was only a short walk from many great restaurants and shopping, and found a very nice cheese shop on Kensington only a 10 minute walk away. In the apartment, the host provided a great welcome guide with some tips for things to do and sights to see around the city. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Calgary!

Danielle and Ben have a lovely maintained apartment. Everything feels brand new and certainly taken care of. They did a great job of checking in by text to make sure my stay was going well. The building is in a great area close to all major necessities. If you like hot showers you will love this place as the water is hot! Very quiet, perfect for business travellers.
This was an excellent place to stay. Very clean, and well taken care of. Excellent location as well. Great hosts. Highly recommended. (I had an issue at one point, and Danielle got back to me within 10 minutes. She was awesome).
The condo is very nice and clean, exactly as shown in the pictures. It has everything you need and the free underground parking is a big bonus. Even though I didn't get to meet Danielle and Ben, they were very prompt in responding to my email. The check in process was a breeze. I had a very comfortable stay and will definitely book again when I come back to Calgary.

Donna was an outstanding host. The house was clean and as shown in photos. She and her family were extremely kind, accommodating, and thoughtful. She will drive you to/from airport for $25 (cheaper than Uber). Thanks for a great stay
Donna was an amazing host. Very friendly and warm, making a stranger's city felt like home. The house is beautifully decorated, room was very very neat and clean. It is close to Foothill hospital, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) said it's 20 minutes but if you go through the park (behind the keg area) as a shortcut you can reach Foothill hospital within ~10-15 minutes depending your walking speed. It's a very safe location. The pets are cute, friendly and very energetic (the dogs). Close your room door to prevent cute dogs eating your trail mix. I enjoyed my weekend very much staying at Donna's.
Donna, her family and her place was like second home for me. They are nice and willing people. And their 2 cats are awesome.

My experience at Donna's was great. The location and price were exceptional. The room was quite nice and had everything I needed. And of course if you love animals, her 2 dogs and 2 cats are super friendly and adorable.

Had such a great & comfortable stay at Hugh's beautiful home! Clean, spacious, and very home-y. It is also a few minutes walk away from the train station that brings you right to downtown Calgary. We had an amazing stay at Hugh's. Him and his wife were very accommodating and friendly. They made us feel very welcomed and at home. They offered us various places to visit in Banff. Their home was beautiful, modern and clean. We would definitely come again the next time we visit Calgary and highly recommend for others to come here and stay. I had a good time in Hugh's Home, also when I only met his wife Sue. Most of the time I was out and about and Sue gave me useful sugesstions what I could do. The room was beautiful and everything was as described. The house has a british, elegant and colourful style which I really liked.
Hugh and his wife were wonderful hosts. We interacted with his wife and she was friendly and informative. Their house was beautifully decorated and the room we stayed at was spotless. The location was convenient and close to public transportation. I would highly recommend others to stay here.

Fantastic,perfect and awesome host.
Brilliant and immaculate space! Ellie was prompt and professional in communications. We loved being in a warm cozy basement unit, with the windows faintly lit in colourful adornment from the exterior holiday lights! Brilliant. We could hear the family up and at it in the morning, and it made us feel right at home. Impressed by amount of creature comforts/amenities like super duper soft throws! Foosball table, hilarious. Thanks for providing an easy access (separate entrance etc.) and short stroll away place to rest our heads after a fantastic night at the Telus Spark Adult Night! It was a quick jaunt directly to the airport in the morning, we avoided traffic, it was brilliant. Definitely recommend!
Host is fantastic. Super friendly, flexible, and accomodating. Always responding right away to any inquires. Great small community with a couple fantastic restaurants "Main Dish", market and some cute shops. Close to downtown, and connected on great running and biking trails! Highly recommend!
Communicating with Ellie was a breeze, she answered questions very quickly. The apartment was beautiful, clean and spacious. Perfectly set up for a family to rent. There was even a box of toys for the kids to play with. Location was amazing, easy to get to for first time Calgary drivers and is super close to the zoo and the science centre.
Host was very nice and helpful. Suite was perfect for our needs and suitably private. Location was fantastic as our main goals were the Science Centre and the Zoo- connection to the train system was a short walk through a nice park= super convenient from the airport. Would definitely book there again.
Ellie had some nice extra touches - coffee and tea, including sugar and milk and oatmeal. The bed was super soft. And the kitchen was well-equipped. The location is excellent - especially if you want to explore downtown. It is a very easy walk to the zoo. Also there are trails to hike on practically outside Ellie's door.
The suite was lovely! Everything was immaculate and very cozy. Ellie was lovely and was very reassuring that we didn't need to fret over my 14 week old son making noise. Very convenient location, only a short drive to the airport and to down town!
Ellie was a very responsive host, and very friendly too. Instructions to enter the house was clear and house was clean and cozy. The table soccer table was a plus. Do note you will need a car to get to the place though. It's a pity that we didn't have the chance to interact much, but thanks for everything! We appreciated it a lot. :)

Torie's apartment looks brand new and in the heart of the 17th ave neighborhood. With a great bed and a pullout couch, you can stay very comfortably here. This is an absolutely perfect location for visiting Calgary. Quick trips to almost anywhere in the city, access to public transit, great restaurants, cafe's and shops. It's the sort of place I'd love to live if I moved to Calgary. The view's a huge draw as well.
Absolutely wonderful place, clean, bright, and close to all the amenities. Tories' place is in a very hip area of town, yet is very quiet and peaceful. Torie was a very patient, friendly and accommodating.
Perfect place ! Clean, tidy, and as pretty as on the pictures. A big plus.... downstairs there's a fantastic coffee shop opened from from 6.30 am to nearly 11 pm I believe.... Overall it's a five star.

Could have not asked for a better place, it is close to everything so you won't even need a car! The bed is extremely comfortable and I had everything I needed. Torie was very helpful and always there when I needed her. I highly recommend everyone to stay at Torie's place if you go to Calgary, great deal, amazing location, beautiful view.. You won't find any place like this one.
Torie's condo is true to the photos, well decorated, and located within 3 minutes of cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. Checking in was easy since she was able to buzz the front door open from her cell while she was away. Since the bedroom only has enough space to walk around the bed, we left our luggage in the living room. The balcony off the living room was a nice place to relax. I loved that I never heard any noises from neighbors through the walls. The apartment can get stuffy since there's no air conditioning, so we left the balcony door open often. In summary, this was a nice place for two to stay and ideal for being off 17th Ave shopping.

Maria was wonderful!..Very welcoming and such a sweet lady. House is in a very new neighborhood. She went above and beyond for us. Only spent half a day in Calgary and she wanted us to enjoy it as much as possible, so offered to drop us off downtown. House was clean, room was spotless and just perfect. It is just too bad our flight back to the US was so early the next morning. She still had breakfast ready for us, so we had something to eat before leaving. Maria's friend was also very friendly and helpful. This will definitely be where we stay again, when we come to Calgary. Thanks MARIA!!
Maria's room was a great place to stay before the airport and came with a bunch of things that you would normally need; shampoo, conditioner, etc. Check-in was a breeze and breakfast was awesome!
The check-in process is seamless with Maria's instruction. The house is in a brand new neighborhood so it is hard to find in the first place, room is spacious, clean and comfortable, and all the furniture are brand new. All the house rule are detailed and specific and it is easy to follow. I appreciate the fact that all the tenants follow it and show respect for others who stay in the house. The house location is a little bit far from downtown and there are few facilities nearby, but it is very close to the YYC airport. I would recommend this place to anyone who has a car or needs a place close to the airport. I never met Maria but she makes the experience absolutely amazing.
Amazing, hotel-like atmosphere. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Not to mention, it had great style. We loved the kitchen and the living room as well. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Calgary. Great value. 10/10
we arrived later than expected. The neighborhood was very new and street signs were not up yet but map and description provided clear and accurate. Although the house was dark, we found our way to our room. Everything was immaculate and inviting. There were even chocolates and a personal note on the bed. The bed was comfortable and bathroom and shower refreshing with lovely personal touches. breakfast was as described with added home-made yogart. Great deal

Super friendly welcome from the property manager at Maria's place. Lovely accommodation, spacious room and very comfy bed. The breakfast pancakes were delicious. We would definitely stay here again if we were coming back to Calgary.

Welcome to Inglewood - voted Canada's #1 neighbourhood in 2014. Situated across from the Bow river and right along Calgary's bike path, our renovated home is a block from trendy 9th Avenue, a quick walk to the Zoo, Stampede, Downtown or even the Science Centre. This brand new space has the short and long term traveller in mind. Great for a professional, a family or some friends travelling together. We offer two well-appointed bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other a double. Each bedroom has a wardrobe and all the necessary linens, including comfy duvets and awesome pillows! The space would suit a couple or small family for a longer stay (week +), but groups of 5 or 6 would likely only be suited for 1-7 days. The large bathroom has a custom tiled, glass shower with a rain shower head. The vanity has tons of storage and topped with a stunning marble counter. And the heated towel rack brings an extra touch of comfort to the space! In the living area you will find a double sleeper-sofa and chair. We have recently added a double memory foam mattress that will replace the sleeper sofa to add to the comfort level for our guests (everyone knows that pull out sofabeds are not comfy so we are going the route of a double mattress instead). A 55" flat panel TV and PS3 are available for the nights you "just wantta stay in". We offer Telus TV and high speed wireless internet. The kitchenette offers a full sized fridge, bar seating for four and a microwave/toaster oven. There is no oven in this kitchenette. The kitchenette is stocked with all the necessary fixtures for this type of kitchen including basic spices and staples of the kitchen (toaster, kettle, blender, etc.) The lower level is self-contained (albeit no stove). You will have access via a private side entrance. For longer term stays, you may have access to our upstairs stove if needed. Laundry is shared, but we endeavour to respect you privacy. For longer term stays (week+) our laundry days will be Wednesdays. Most stays we will be here to meet, greet and interact with our guests as much (or as little) as you would like. We are a young family with two kiddos (we do our best to maintain their noise levels and respect our guests, but we do want our guests to be aware of their presence before you book). That said, we are out and about most of the time enjoying Inglewood. We do share laundry downstairs. We will not go down unless the stay is "long term" at which point our laundry day will be Wednesdays. The odd time we may be out travelling ourselves, in which case we will have a trusted neighborhood friend watch over the place and give you the in's and outs of the space and the 'hood. We love our hood. Inglewood truly is the best neighbourhood in Canada. Our home is located along the Bow River and Calgary's bike path. We are half a block to a great dog park and a quick walk to Harvie Passage kayak park. Located only block to trendy 9th Avenue you will be able to find great restaurants, coffee shops and great shopping. If you walk a little further down 9th Ave you will quickly be at Fort Calgary and East Village. Hop the bridge over the Bow and you will be at the Zoo. The location simply does not get better than this. Inglewood! You are a 20 minute walk to downtown or Stampede. Our house is located two blocks to a major bus stop (#1, 302, 75, etc.). We are located in the centre of Calgary's Car2Go zone. If we are around, you are welcome to utilize our bikes as well. Please feel free to enjoy the 6 burner natural gas BBQ located by your entrance, the back yard and even the fire pit. Your place will be outfitted with the required BBQ accessories. If we are here, you are welcome to utilize our bikes to cruise around the neighbourhood.més informació
We came to calgary for the comic expo not knowing what to expect as this was our first time using airbnb, but we couldnt have asked for more!! Amazing place to stay in a wonderful neighbourbood with even more wonderful hosts! Thank you so much for everything and we hope to see you again!
James and Michelle are wonderful, thoughtful hosts. They are very friendly and we enjoyed getting to know them a bit. Their space is very well appointed, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. We were arriving late and they set up the hide a bed in the living room (which has an amazing memory foam mattress so it's like a great double bed) so that we wouldn't have to hassle with it. The beds were perfect for a great night's sleep -- we enjoyed our stay very much.
We met the family early in the day when we dropped off a lawn mower...very hospitable. We attended a wedding at the (URL HIDDEN) was a great location for walking...also walking paths were great along the river. Had a great stay with our family...there is no stove but they do have electric frying pans as well as a microwave...
This airbnb was everything we hoped for. We love to interact with people and this family was very approachable. The accommodations were comfortable, easily accessible and close to everything we needed. We would certainly use it again when visiting in the area.

This was a fantastic stay for us in Calgary. The apartment is just lovely. The decor is beautiful. I loved the wine and chocolate the best. Oh, no maybe it was the towel warmer! The neighborhood is fantastic and we were able to walk everywhere including right to downtown Calgary from the location.
Clean, comfortable, charming basement apartment in safe and quiet neighborhood within walking distance of interesting shops and restaurants, easy access to public transportation, and just a short walk to beautiful bike paths along the river. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly and we couldn't have asked for a better welcome! We stayed in the appartment for two nights prior to setting off on our travels theough the Rockies. Michelle James and family were all very welcoming and friendly. They even offered for us to join them with some activities, but unfortunaltly our stay was too short. I would recomend this BnB for everyone looking to stay in Calgary. Couldn't imagine a better view in the city. Getting set up in the house was incredibly easy and walking to anywhere in town was easier. I will 100% book this place again if I come back to Calgary. It is so unique and cool and the price is unreal. Balcony and view make it very special.

We had an amazing experience at Mark and Ivy's! The place is centrally located and just a short drive to any location of interest in Calgary. The best part is the spectacular view of the city at night from the almost-penthouse floor.
We absolutely loved everything about this place, from the excellent view, to the streaming services available, as well as the fantastic service from our hosts; they kept us posted on what was happening in the building during our stay and were incredibly accommodating when it came to making sure we felt welcome! Our chic downtown condo is only 2 blocks from Stampede, BMO Center & Saddledome and close to the C-Train, fantastic local bars & trendy restaurants! We've freshly furnished and professionally clean our condo with tourists and business travelers in mind! Come enjoy our spacious, downtown 2 bedroom condo that sleeps 6 guests. There's assigned, secure underground parking, as well as free WiFi. A few hundred meters away from Stampede grounds! Guests have access to the entire condo except for a cleaning closet we keep for the cleaners. Guests can also park in our heated, underground parking spot. The parking garage has a 6'6ft clearance, so cars with rooftop luggage packs or tall trucks may not fit. There is free street parking but there time limits. Victoria Park is a trendy, urban neighbourhood known for its innovative bars, local restaurants and proximity to the Stampede grounds. It has an old building charm, mixed with a hipster modern edge. Its a great neighborhood for the young professional or traveler alike. There are many forms of public transit literally minutes from the condo. The C-Train is 3 blocks away and grants access to core areas of the city from the downtown core to the suburbs. Tina was a fantastic host. She met us to exhange keys as communicated, and she was very easy to get a hold of. The apartment was in a very good location, in a nice quiet residential area in downtown. The apartment was beautifully decorated and looked exactly like in the pictures. I loved that Tina left some lovely details in the apartment. Knowing that we were there to celebrate our anniversary, she placed some flowers and a nice note to greet us. Further, Tina also had a binder with a map and recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the area. Although the weather was very hot, it was nice that there was a fan. Overall, a great experience!

Flew into Calgary late and stayed at Tina's perfectly situated downtown condo before making an early start to Banff. Instructions for parking and accessing the condo were perfectly clear and the unit itself was very clean and comfortable. Tina's binder full of recommendations for restaurants and activities in Calgary were some of the best I found in any vacation rental. Highly recommend visiting any of the restaurants that she recommends and kayaking the Bow River!

This is great place to stay for anyone wanting a downtown Calgary experience. Our family group consisted of a four year old child, two parents and two grandparents. We were very comfortable in this apartment. The two full bathrooms are an asset. The large outdoor patio afforded great views of the downtown and Bow river park. We used the fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. An excellent property in an outstanding location. Our host was very helpful, guiding us through the entire experience.

Duncan made our stay one of the easiest by far. Was so very accommodating to some of our last minute requests and was easy to get a hold of if when we had questions. The listing was MORE than what we expected, This place was Incredible!!! open concept, Lots of natural light and not to mention one beautiful rooftop patio. the only down fall was we couldn't ENJOY the patio due to weather, but none the less it was still amazing. The neighborhood was primo location! heart of downtown, close to the eau Claire market, movie theaters and princess island, walking distance to everything. Fantastic place to stay in the heart of Calgary. The condo is clean, well-appointed, provides fantastic views, has cable and the wifi works great even with two people pounding away.
Mason was great! His location was unbelievable, the building was quiet and everything worked out perfectly for us. Even though we checked in later than the original check in time, he was still available, and we were promptly set up and ready to go. Would highly recommend Mason to anyone else, and would definitely stay with him again when we are up for our next trip!
The place has a direct view of the stampede grounds and shows exactly how it does in the pictures. It is very central with most everything only a 15 minute walk away. There is a drop in center not too far away but it is also right by the river so just a great location.
We got no problem to get in and the check in and house instructions are all very clear and easy to follow. Mason had put in so many considerations for the stay including food, drinks, bed dings and towels, etc. The location is pretty convenient for every where you travel. We enjoy the stay very much!

Three of us working at the home show had the pleasure of staying at Mason's unit. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The apartment covered all our needs and some. It was the closest possible place to stay to the Stampede grounds with every possible facility close at hand. The view was spectacular and the unit light and bright. We loved it and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

You will receive quintessential British hospitality! The local mall is 10 mins walk and includes Walmart / Safeway / Starbucks. 17 AVE is one of the best streets for a wide selection of bars and restaurants (10 min bus ride - see map). The room was exactly as described. The bed is comfortable and the room is big. Hugh and his wife were very nice by helping my find something to do in Calgary. Sue even gave me a ride to de Olympic Park and then pick me up. The house is very close to the subway so its easy to move around.
My stay at Hugh, Sue and their son Harry's place was most enjoyable. Their home is beautiful and the room and bed was very comfortable. These folks are very hospitable and I very much enjoyed our evening conversations.

Staying in Hugh's home was a treat. The room was clean and inviting, Hugh and his family were welcoming and the location was perfect. I was 10 minutes away from the University of Calgary for my training and I felt at home every night.
I enjoyed my stay at Hugh's house. It was located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, close to downtown Calgary. The bedroom is descent in size, has a comfy bed and it has pretty much what one would need to have a comfortable stay in YYC, either for business or pleasure. Great location! Cute house on a nice street quite street. Very clean and nice inside. Main room is on the main level with a cute loft with a twin bed upstairs. Would be great place for a small family for the weekend. The lock box is a bit difficult to open and there was no light out side ( phone light help). But I would for sure stay here again and refer it to friends and family.

Andy's place was amazing ! I was only in Calgary for two nights and it was ideal for what I needed. Andy was easy to contact and made sure we had proper instructions to finding the condo including a description of location as well as a photo in his text. The place had everything we needed for our weekend stay and the neighbourhood felt very safe. We were close to great food and drinks and only a short cab ride away from the saddledome. Overall we had a great experience at Andy's house and would for sure recommend it to anyone coming to Calgary !

Good value, good location. There was a weird/hilarious incident in the neighborhood on our first night, but Andy messaged us to make sure everything was cool (it was no big deal at all but nice that he checked in). 2 night stay in October 2015. Gorgeous, modern, little apartment. Very comfortable for the two of us. Loved the location; so close to Memorial Drive, Downtown Core, Safeway, C-train, shopping in Kensington. Great walking trails along the river and several coffee shops and restaurants in area. Didn't use our vehicle at all. Apartment had all the amenities but could have used a couple extra blankets. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants the best location ever at a really affordable price. So much better than a hotel. Thank you Kesh & Lyss for the accommodation and the incredibly comfortable bed. We will definately stay here again.

I vacuum and dust the whole house weekly, clean the floors every 2nd day, never leave dirty dishes, wash the bathrooms daily and provide fresh laundered sheets and towels for every guest. Easy access to get around by walking, biking, bus, train, car, Car to Go or cab. Close to #1 Highway and Memorial Drive. Sunnyside C-train station is 400 meters away. The airport is 20 minutes drive away. Ask about my airport pick up/drop off. The tap water from all the faucets in the house are safe to drink from. Close to SAIT, ACAD, the Jubilee Auditorium are 1 train stop away, North Hill is 2 and the University is 3. Lots of walking and bike paths along the river close by, as well as Eau Claire shopping market and the Plaza Theatre. Handy to the Calgary Zoo and 20 minutes drive to Calgary International Airport. Barb is so lovely. She was very welcoming when we arrived and gave us tips about the local neighbourhood. The bed in our room was huge and really comfortable and the chocolates put out were a very sweet touch. We were provided with dressing gowns, towels and shown around the kitchen. Barbs Sunnyside Heritage home was a great place to stay if you are visiting Calgary. The location was great. Just a short walk to the train and pubs and restaurants. The room we rented was perfect for us. Very clean and the bed was the comfiest bed we have ever slept in!! Barb was a great host too. We arrived quite early and she was available to meet us so we could leave our bags until we were able to move in to our room which made our life so much easier! Couldn't really fault anything about our stay here... THANKS BARB!!!

Barb was terrific. She was very flexible with my arrival time and instantly made me feel right at home. Great downtown location with lots of space. The inner city townhome offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms over three levels. Secure garage parking for one vehilce is also available. All conveniently located between trendy 17th Ave and the core. This townhome is in the heart of Calgary's Beltline. Just 5 blocks north of 17th Ave, 4 blocks from downtown and within steps of the 12,11 & 10th ave shopping and restaurants. The two bedroom, two bathroom home offers spacious, secure and convenient accomodation. Rooms offer queen beds and the entire space offers all of the comforts of home in a very clean and modern space. The Beltline hosts some of Calgary's most unique neighbourhoods. From the shops and restraunts on 1st Street SW, to the 17th Avenue Dining and Entertainment District, this home is in the heart of it all. The suite has over-height ceilings, good natural light and is set up to work for both a quick visit or a longer stay. As for public transport, the suite is 6 blocks from the 7th avenue C-Train corridor, where all four lines intersect and take you to all quadrants of the city. Once inside the exterior door, there are two interiors doors. The Inner City Townhome is the door on the left. All the comforts of home. Christoph's wife met us as he was away on business, but everything we needed to know was clearly explained. The flat (sorry apartment) was very clean, tidy, comfortable and roomy for us. The kitchen was well equipped for two people and used a lot by us as we like to experience local foods, particularly from Markets. We would definitely look to stay there again when we next visit Calgary. The location is quiet for a place so close to the city centre; Only 20-25 minutes walk away. Good, relatively cheap public transport too, but have change ($3.15) as they don't give any. Calgary makes good use of the Bow and Elbow rivers with lineal parks and Lindsay park on the Bow river is only a few minutes walk away. Plenty of evidence of beavers but didn't see any but loads of escaped rabbits! There are quite a few restaurants, coffee bars and shops on nearby 4th Street. Safeway supermarket is there, only 8 minutes walk away. The Co-op near the city centre is much bigger and better. There are 2 farmers' markets short drives away. Calgary Tower well worth a visit as is Heritage Park (closed in the winter). The Glenbow museum in the city centre is a hidden jewel, well worth a visit for local history; Calgary, Alberta and First Peoples. We would recommend Una Pizza, Analog Coffee House and Corbeaux Bakehouse/ restaurant on 17th Avenue and all about 20 minutes walk away. Double Zero is also another excellent pizza/ italian restaurant in the downtown Core Shopping Centre (see the Devonian Gardens there, a tropical oasis). Also recommend Last Best Brewery restaurant and bar, right in the brewery at 5th St SW and 11th Ave. SW, just under 2 km walk. Bank and Baron pub in an old bank on the heritage 8th ave SW near the CORE, also 2 km away, is very atmospheric but avoid when Calgary Flames Hockey team are playing, you'll never get a seat!

We will provide you with maps and guides of the city; it is really easy to navigate. Eau Claire is a quiet privileged community in the heart of the city. We are almost in front of Prince's Island Park and the Peace Bridge, and you can see the park from our balcony which always has people exercising or wondering around. One blocks from home, you can enter to the +15, an indoor pedestrian system that connects the downtown buildings and the major hotels and convention centers like; the Westin, Sheraton Suites, Sandman, Metropolitan Conference Centre, Telus Convention Centre. You also can find, restaurants, convenience store, Eau Clair Market, coffee shops, everything on walking distant. If you are coming to celebrate the Stampede, you can go easily and fast to the parade, the Saddledome, and all the party places. If you walk 4 blocks, you will find the c-train station, in the portion that is known as the free fare zone, so you can travel for free inside downtown. In the back part of the building, there are 2 parking spots of car 2 go, a great way to travel around the city. We have an extra bike that you can borrow. It was a wonderfull experience. Danied and Guilherme helps me in all that I need inclusive with my deslocation ate 05:50 am when I lost my taxi because I was late. They also helps me to receive my puschases in their address. They understood my change in the reservation because I have to leave before the end date of my prior reservation. It was perfect. Nice apartment, nice place to stay, nice bed, pilows, bedroom, washroons and so on. I recomended they. The best one in my experience with Airbnb.

We arrived at the apartment to find nice a note from Christoph with all the details of the apartment and a bottle of wine. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos, and in a great location. I’m from Calgary, and this is definitely in the top end of the spectrum as far as downtown accommodation goes. My husband and I had a warm welcome, thanks to Oswaldo who took the time to tour the apartment with us- it is a lovely place, nicely decorated and very well appointed (super kitchen - livingroom; confortable bathroom and Netflix was a big plus for entertainement). A very useful booklet was provided helped us to master all appliances in the apartment, thanks to Ilona's care. The indoor parking space was a great bonus. Quiet neighborhood with interesting places to eat very close by (we loved Hamid's counter, and the Japanese/Italian bistro Carino). A brisk 20min walk brings you downtown. We would love to stay there again.

I have stayed in many short term rentals and this was probably the best. The hosts went above and beyond any other place I have stayed. Not to mention its an adorable apartment, spotless, and in a great location. Ilona and her husband put in much thought towards the comfort of their guests. There are small touches they provide and they are extremely professional. If you are lucky to get the available dates, I highly recommend this apartment. There is good reason it is in demand. There is a little gym directly across the hall which is also a bonus and the bed is very comfortable. Also there is 2 heated parking stalls. The kitchen is fully equipped for someone who cooks and not to mention just beautiful. The pictures dont do this apartment justice. There are is usually a Smart car near by too if you dont have a rental. Happy Travels!

Your bedroom in the basement does not get much daylight, but still has an exterior window, and offers total privacy and comfort. You will have full access to all the common spaces in the house, including the kitchen, bathroom, living room and front yard (with a big picnic table). You will also have access to appliances, including the fridge, stove, Nespresso coffee machine (with complimentary coffee!), washing machine, dryer and the living room Hi-Fi and TV. We will likely be present in the house during your stay. We will interact with you as much as you want to (i.e., we enjoy conversations, but respect privacy as a priority). Kids are welcome (and those under 10 stay free). We have a 2 year daughter who loves making new friends and does not mind sharing her toys. We have lots of guidebooks, maps and information about the Rocky Mountains, and can certainly offer travel advise. Sunnyside is arguably the best neighborhood in Calgary. It is very close to downtown (city's business center) but also recreation areas such as the Bow River pathways or Prince's Island park. Sunnyside is a quiet place, yet only 4 blocks (5 minutes walking) from one of the most lively areas in town (Kensington), with lots of restaurants, pubs, and all purpose stores. One of the best places for coffee in Calgary (the Vendome cafe) is only 2 blocks from our place. One block further there is a grocery store, a bakery and organic market and a C-train station. Wonderful stay, great place to base yourself for trips into the mountains, Eduard was very helpful in pointing out his favourite places and they were kind enough to lend me their park pass which was very generous.
We had a great experience and had no major issues. there was a slight clog in the shower but was fixed the next day. everything was neat and clean. sharing the washroom and dining area wasn't a problem because we ate outside most of the time.
Gemma & Eduard's home was perfect for our vacation. It was walking distance to downtown and public transportation. It was also located perfect for a day trip to the mountains and lakes. They were amazing and helped with places to visit with our little one. We would definitely stay again if we return to Calgary.
Great place for our family of four to stay in Calgary! We only arrived in the afternoon and left the next day, so didn't see too much of the neighborhood. But it is a very central location (short walk to tram, 3-4 stops from downtown) with quite a few nice restaurants around. The room was really big, would also suit four adults. Gemma and Eduard were super friendly and gave us great information for the next part of our trip. Definitely recommend their place!

The hosts were away from home during my stay. However, their nephew was present and made me feel right at home. The entire basement was my abode. The basement featured a very good sized bedroom and a private and full bathroom. I also had access to the kitchen during my stay which is situated at ground level. The location was perfect. It was very close to the river which was ideal for accessing the long winding bicycle paths along the Bow River. A great cafe was located just west a few blocks. Though I had a rental car, a light rail stop is across the street from the cafe. The home is very comfortable and situated in a very quiet neighborhood, but close to restaurants. I highly recommend this listing to future travelers.
Perfect Start of our Trip in canada! If you Plan to go hiking in the national Parks , just ask Edward, he's a Perfect Guide. He "planned" our First two weeks and it was amazing! The House is located in a quite residential area, anyway it is just a few minutes of walking to reach downtown . Rooms were tidy and quiet.
We had a great time at gemma and eduard's house. They are very friendly and the room was very clean, big and comfortable. The shared bathroom was not a problem. The house is very close to downtown. We are a 7 minute drive from Edworthy park (which connects river pathways) and Canada Olympic Park. 15 minute drive to downtown. 2 minute walk to local coffee shop, pub and various restaurants. There is a large mall a 5 minute drive away with additional restaurants as well. The grocery store is a 20 min walk or 3 minute drive. Convenience store across the street. We have easy access to Trans Canada and are only a 45 minute drive to the mountains or 1.5 hours to beautiful Banff. A 2 hour drive takes you all the way to Lake Louise. Our cozy self-catering suite has one bedroom, one bathroom, with a separate living/kitchen area that has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. Linens, shampoo, and towels are all here for you. We also have a large TV with Netflix and WiFi for your convenience. The bedroom has a queen bed. In the summer, you are welcome to use our BBQ, and enjoy our backyard with a wood burning outdoor fireplace with river views. Laundry can be arranged if you would like to use it. We are located on a quiet street in the neighbourhood of Bowness. We are a 35-minute drive from the airport, and on the west end of the city, allowing for easy and quick access to the mountains. We are a quiet family of 5 (and two part-time small and very friendly dogs) who looks forward to sharing our wonderful city with travelers from all over. The suite is even better in person than in the ad. It is located in a very cute neighbourhood and is scenic. Very close to the university and downtown and only an hour drive into Banff. Marie was very helpful the entire time.
Marie's home is even better than described. It's in a quiet neighborhood and there's a river just behind the backyard. We met Marie's Paramus at arrival and they're very nice people. The basement is well equipped and decorated and there's a detailed introduction regarding the home usage and necessary traffic information. The house is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. I enjoy the stay at Marie's home!
Marie's home was just as welcoming as the post. I felt very comfortable settling in. I was really grateful for coffee in the morning! It was quite chilly in Calgary, Marie had placed an extra heater in the room as well.
The basement is very nice and the yard and the river are beautiful. It was a bit cool in the basement but there was a space heater and that worked great. Definitely would stay here again. Marie had a cheat sheet for the neighborhood with great places to eat and drink highlighted. Very thoughtful

Marie is always very prompt with answering your questions or texts! We absolutely loves our stay, we only did a quick stop for the night before we left early morning to Golden, BC. The place was very clean and included a nice living room and kitchen area.
