I provide a special accommodation in a secluded area of a private property with a small beach, a sheltered seating areas and a hot tub. The hot tub is a 2000 litre whisky barrel, heated by a wood burning stove. Please let me know in advance and for an extra £ 30, I will have it ready for you. You are welcome to share my cottage including the use of the kitchen and bathroom. If you are a slightly bigger group, please don't hesitate to ask and I do my best to make it possible.
If your dream is to spent some time in a Tipi, you have found a very quiet and peaceful place. . My place is a mile away from the main road and is located on a dead end. Almost no noise or light pollution. I only have one neighbour, a very friendly couple with a lovely dog. I`m living 5 miles from the Findhorn Foundation and 6 miles from the towns of Forres and Elgin. A bus leaves from the top of the road. If you want to be completely looked after i'm also a tour guide. http://www.experience-Scotland-differently.com If you like to be in total control of how you want to spend your day and change it to your needs and wants you can relax and enjoy my service (-: I`m also living in the best climate zone of Scotland and a very ancient place, packed with history. Morayshire is also home for the biggest whisky trail and many famous whiskies, not to mention some of the best golf courses. I`m close to mountains, rivers, the sea, caves, castles.......... So the area is perfect for many outdoor activities, wildlife ( the most northern Dolphins....) and beautiful countryside and the home of the first People in Scotland- the Pict's. The list is long and in the end you have to make up your own mind and check it out. I`m looking forward to looking after you and if you are cool I would love to introduce you to many great friends in the country including the only hobbit in the Highlands and the longest Loch Ness Monster Hunter. cheers Torsten
My property is in a very quiet location and I'm still creating a magic place of beauty and tranquility. I have one neighbour directly beside my place. A family with one boy and a very lovely dog. Otherwise nobody else can pass by because the road ends on my car park. It is very safe and surrounded by fields. Right now I'm building a hot tub and an outdoor kitchen. I also have a pergola with a cosy hideaway on top of the roof ( look at the picture ) The kitchen is small. Otherwise you are sharing my place and not everything is perfect. I'm a single guy (((-:

Spacious 2 bedroom Caravan, bright, modern and located in a beautiful Moray coastal village.
Entire space
Lovely peaceful, friendly, safe location, with lots to see & do.

The Rabbit's Nest is close to restaurants and dining, the beach, family-friendly activities, and public transport. You’ll love it because of the cosiness, the view of the beach, the location, and the lovely people of Burghead. This beautiful flat is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families with kids.

Un lloc molt acollidor i meravellós on allotjar-se.

Definitivament tornaria.

Torf is the ultimate retreat; no TV, wifi, phone, central heating, dishwasher or power shower... but a glorious open fire in the main bedroom, wood burning stove in the living room and an Everhot range in the kitchen. We’re 80 paces from the sea, about the same from the Co-op. Two bedrooms downstairs, boxed stairs to the attic, with beds at either end and two campbeds in the middle. Torf is not ‘sparkling clean’, it is clean, functional and comfortable – maybe even ‘shabby chic’...
We have just installed a back boiler to heat the water off the stove, but as a back up there is an immersion heater that heats water for a large bath with an electric shower over it. There are electric blankets on the three single beds and the double, as well as four hot water bottles. There is an electric heater for emergencies. The kitchen has most things; fridge (with mini freezer compartment), microwave, fantastic Everhot cooker, washing machine, loads of saucepans etc... The living room has two armchairs and a sofa, all of which are dog-friendly. Torf has hosted many dogs and cats, so if you have allergies, we’re probably not the place for you. It is by the sea, and we know that that means sand, but sand never hurt anyone and there is an outdoor tap and a vacuum cleaner. There is a south-facing garden big enough to sit in, with a profusion of hops, herbs and roses and a fire-pit/bbq. Firewood and kindling are provided within reason; the beach and the woods are great for collecting kindling...
Burghead is unique: it is on a promontory, reaching out into the famous Moray Firth. The birds are amazing all year round (see list). There are regular dolphin sightings, the occasional whale, a working harbour and regular sightings of the Northern Lights. The Moray Coast offers extensive biking and walking routes, fishing, kayaking, golf, skiing (Aviemore and the Lecht are about 50 miles away), countless whisky distilleries, moorland, forest, caves, rock pools and miles and miles of sandy beaches. There are even daily flypasts from the Typhoon at RAF Lossiemouth. The village has a Co-op, a Post Office, a doctor's surgery, a chemist, two pubs and a renowned coffee shop (The Bothy). Board games, cards, books, and watching the fire are all acceptable activities after a day of harbour-jumping, toasting marshmallows over beach bonfires, visiting battlefields, ruined cathedrals, and historic sites.

Situated in the heart of an eco village. It is surrounded by the stunning Scottish landscape of Beach, bay and mountains. This makes it a very interesting place to visit. One of two private bedrooms in this quirky ‘spirit of the 60’s’ bungalow. This cedarwood bungalow is one of the famous 7 cedarwoods. Eileen Caddy one of the founders envisioned these bungalows and Peter had them built. Manda has a relaxed ‘hands off’ approach .So if you are happy to do your own thing Treetops would suit you.
Treetops is the most central place. It’s close to Coffee shop, hot tub, Universal Hall, Community Centre, shop selling organic food, beach (15 mins walk)
I have lived in The Park for 15 years. I like it as it suits my Aquarian nature of change. The place has a stimulating atmosphere with plenty of interesting activities. The surrounding area of Findhorn Bay with the beautiful coastline and the quality of the light is very special.

Manda va ser molt amable i servicial, sobretot perquè vaig haver d’arribar molt tard. Gràcies!!

Lovely apartment situated in the popular coastal village of Hopeman near Elgin, Morayshire. It consists of a bed/sitting room, kitchen/dining room and a shower/wc. 5 minutes walk from beautiful sandy beaches. It is 2 nights minimum stay. Sleeps 2 (+2 in sofa bed in same room)
Our welcoming home was the original school in Hopeman, dating around early 1800's. The apartment was the first classroom and is one of the oldest buildings in Hopeman. The village was started by fisherman who travelled along the coast from Ardersier, near Inverness. The apartment is a tastefully decorated in simple Swedish style. It has a fully equipped kitchen/dining room over looking our colourful garden. The bed/sitting room, with wet room we off offers an extremely comfortable (so our guests say!) double bed but also a small sofa bed which could easily accommodate 2 children at £10 extra per person. We can also provide a travel cot for babies/infants. There is a little 'starter food/breakfast' but there are a few shops nearby for your needs. It has a separate entrance from our accommodate so guests are free to come and go at their leisure.
Hopeman is a small friendly village on the Moray Coast Trail situated 6 miles from the Cathedral City of Elgin. 1 hour from Inverness and just under 2 hours from Aberdeen. With its beautiful sandy beaches and hidden coves within walking distance, it really is quite a gem! There are cycle/walking paths to the neighbouring villages of Duffus with it's castle ruins and Burghead - the latter being of particular interest to historians as it was built upon a Pictish Fort. The former is also home to GORDONSTOUN SCHOOL - therefore our apartment offers a handy bolt hole for leave out weekends, prospective pupils weekends or even for the interview candidate. Burghead has a working harbour where there are still number of fishing boats is a photographers' delight. Burghead has a visitors centre on the headland which has a fascinating look into the Picts, the annual, world famous 'burning of the Claivie and of course the history of the fishing industry in bygone days. Cycling/walking woods and forests are only 5 minutes drive/20 minutes cycle. Lossiemouth to the East has a water sports activity centre and is a surfing paradise for the active tourist. We are surrounded in golf courses -Hopeman, the Championship course of Moray (in Lossiemouth) and Nairn are all within 40minutes drive. The coastal trial is a joy to behold and a stroll to catch the evening sunset could even provide DOLPHINS. The Moray Firth is home to the fun loving bottle nose dolphins and these can often be seen near the shore on a calm day. Along the coastal path towards Lossiemouth offers the incredible site of little coves and bays with their many natural stacks. These are home to the Elegant Fulmer - a joy to see in its glided flight. Those interested in a 'dram' will not be disappointed! There are numerous distilleries to choose from in Moray and its neighbours. This is big whisky country! Hopeman holds a large annual gala in July which is one of the longest in Scotland - held over one week and offers activities for 0-90 year olds and holiday makers and villagers alike plan their annual leave around the dates. We look forward to giving you a warm, friendly, welcome! Jo and Malcolm

The Lodge is nestled at the gates of Duffus House, on the edge of the small and quiet village of Duffus. It is surrounded by trees and open fields and a host of wildlife. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs and you are welcome to explore the network of paths across the Estate.
The Lodge, or to give it its official name of Duffus House Lodge, is the old traditional gate lodge of Duffus House, the historic family seat of the Dunbar’s of Northfield and which was leased to the famous Gordonstoun school for 82 years. It is a traditional, single storey, stone built property complete with its own garage and fenced back garden. The property has a good sized, south facing double bedroom complete with king sized bed and a smaller single bedroom facing west. The sitting room has beautiful wood burning stove, ideal for cosy evenings in front of the fire. We provide you with complimentary logs from the Estate for use in the stove or in the fire bowl provided in the garden. There is a separate utility and kitchen. The bathroom has been upgraded in January 2019 and is all sparkling and new! There are lots of lovely walks in the area, including around Duffus Estate, right on your doorstep. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by wildlife so you might be lucky and spot some of our local population of red squirrels, roe deer, hare, and owls, to name a few!
The Lodge is situated on the edge of the quiet village of Duffus, home to the famous Gordonstoun boarding school. There is a rough path which allows you to walk into the village - a 5 minute stroll. Although small, Duffus is lucky enough to still have a village shop, post office and pub which between them cover most of life’s essentials! There is also a play park which is ideal for small children. We are blessed to have so many idyllic beaches all within a short drive, for example, Hopeman with its colourful beach huts or Covesea with its iconic lighthouse. If woodland is more your thing. then the woods at Roseisle and Culbin are close by. The area is ideal for those into road and mountain biking with many trails close by, such as the Winding Walks at Fochabers. Water sports are all well catered for - SUP, sailing, kayaking are all on our doorstep. There are Historic Scotland and National Trust properties locally which are well worth exploring, for example, Spynie Palace and Brodie Castle. On top of all of that, there are of course and plethora of Speyside distilleries - definitely worth a visit!

Hopeman Cottage sleeps 4 to 6 people and is the perfect location for a scottish coastal holiday. The cottage is just 600m from the ancient harbour with stunning sheltered sandy beaches and coastal walks to explore on both sides of the village. This is a fantastic holiday home in one of the most popular and scenic fishing villages on the Moray Firth coast. Hopeman Cottage now has free WiFi for guests to use when they stay. This is our holiday home, and while you are there, it is your holiday home. We don't live nearby but if you need anything we know enough people who do! Hopeman is a fantastic village with a harbour, 2 beautiful beaches, a large, safe playing field and childrens play area (with one of the biggest slides you'll ever see!). Next door is the local chemist, up the road is a family butchers and across the road is a convenience store. There are also gift shops, take-aways (chinese and fish and chips) and of course a couple of great pubs. Inverness airport is just 45mins drive away or Elgin is a short bus-ride away with rail connections to anywhere else in the UK. Just a "heads-up" for any taller guests out there... the ceilings are quite low at the cottage - it's an old traditional stone fishermans cottage - so you do have to be careful not to bang your head on the light-fittings, ceilings and doorways!!!

There is also a fire bowl for our guests to use to keep them warm whilst perhaps watching the stars or having a wee nightcap. Duffus Estate has a network of paths, many of which can be accessed directly from the gate at the bottom of Kirktoun's garden. Whilst you are out you might see roe deer, red squirrels or even some of our abundant birdlife. The local woods are also home to a host of wild flowers. Spring time is especially impressive due to the grand displays of snowdrops followed by daffodils, primroses and bluebells. Close by are the glorious beaches of the Moray Firth with its resident dolphin population, golf courses galore, cliff top and forest walks, the Speyside whisky trail and many historic castles such as Brodie Castle and Cawdor Castle - this oft overlooked area of Scotland really has plenty for everyone.
