There are quite often sheep in the field in front of the hut as well as our horse Flamingo. We also have a small friendly dog and a cat. They may want to come and say hello to you. We run a small shellfish business on the farm. The access to Bea's Hut is down a single track country lane with some passing places. There are two other small holiday cottages at the same address. However Bea's Hut is set furthest away and has plenty of privacy. We aim to give all our guests a peaceful relaxing experience.
Anglesey is surrounded by water and therefore also some beautiful beaches. Bea's hut is only a few minutes walk from Sandy Beach. A fabulous beach to walk, sunbathe or swim from. Over a mile long with a caravan site at the far end which has a small shop and a bar. That end usually gets quite busy but this end is normally quiet. Trefadog Beach is a small cove and doesn't get busy and is great for rock pooling and finding interesting creatures.

Aberffraw - Welcome to the true capital of Wales! On the surface Aberffraw is a small, quiet village on the west coast of Anglesey at the mouth of the gently flowing River Ffraw renowned for its spectacular sand dunes and immense stretch of sandy beach. The village of today, however, sits on the site of a medieval ‘llys’ or princely court, born out of the Royal House of Aberffraw from which Llywelyn Fawr or Llywelyn the Great, descended. Llywelyn was the de facto ruler of all Wales, dominating Wales for 40 years. There is no denying the historical importance of the House of Aberffraw with many local places and names still bearing reference to this. Today Aberffraw is a peaceful and immensely scenic get-away-from-it-all village. Set right on the Coastal path, it is a walkers paradise with plenty of options for all abilities. Follow the path down the estuary and you will see birdlife of all kinds. Where the river meets the sea, you will enjoy endless views of the sea, mountains, Bardsey island and the Llyn Penninsula beyond. A walk in the other direction and you may see cattle grazing gently in the heathland, as you head over the impressive sand dune range to ‘Traeth Mawr’, literally ‘big’ or ‘great’ beach with its endless sands, this has been called the Sahara of Wales! The village boasts a fantastic pub ‘Y Goron’ or ‘The Crown’, which serves hearty, home-cooked food. The village shop is on hand for all the essentials and the thriving tea-rooms at Llys Llywelyn will make sure you will need to get walking, after you sample their home-cooked food and endless cakes! The Church in the Sea, or St Cwfan’s church is another must-see hidden gem. Built in the 7th century, the church now stands on the islet of Cribinau separated from the mainland by years of coastal erosion. Against the odds this beautiful little church stands proud and bravely on a rock, and is quite a sight to behold. Church services are held regularly in the summer months, with occasional weddings and Christenings, all of course romantically dictated by the tides! The cove in which the church sits, is a gentle walk of about a mile from Aberffraw village. If the village doesn’t offer you enough history, the nearby Neolithic burial chamber of Barclodiad y Gawres is a must see, not just for the history and heritage but the location, surrounding walks and views are stunning. Walkable along the coastal path, it lies about 4 miles from Aberffraw, or a short drive of 2 miles will bring you to a parking spot from where it is a 5-10 minute, fairly level walk by narrow path. Further afield the larger village of Rhosneigr is about 4 miles away by road, 7 miles if you take on the coast path – trust us, you won’t be disappointed. There is also a daily, regular bus service for those who don’t want to walk back! Whatever your plans for your Anglesey holiday, you will not fail to be charmed by the historic, proud and immensely scenic little Welsh gem that is Aberffraw.

One of two delightful shepherds huts set in a 5 acre working smallholding with fabulous views over open countryside towards Snowdonia. This hut, Cae, which means field in Welsh, has a fold-down kingsize bed. The huts, hand-built to our design, are warm and cosy with electric heating, their own en-suite showers and gas cookers. The huts suit adult couples, looking for a quiet break. Each hut has its own firepit and BBQ, outdoor seating and blankets so you can sit and stargaze on a clear night.
The two huts are situated 50 yards apart, making them private spaces, but they are close enough together for someone looking for a holiday with friends. You can park very close to Cae and there is a gravel path up to its steps!
Llanfaethlu is a small village a mile from the beach, and there is a shop, post office and cafe all in walking distance. The North West coast of Anglesey is an area of outstanding natural beauty with amazing coastal walks and opportunities for birdwatching. It's a short drive to the holiday resorts on the South coast for surfing, shopping and eating.

The spare room is bright and comfortable with lots of storage. The bed is a double, has a lovely memory foam topper and feather pillows. We have off road parking. The house itself comprises of a large living room, spacious kitchen dinner, huge hallway (more like a room), 4 bedrooms, a bathroom and separate toilet. There are 2 of us that live here, me and my friend Dan. Were all easy going and are happy to help with any quires you have, offer advice on local 'must do's' or just have a natter with you. We do air b and b another room in the house as a b and b and therefor there are different people staying at different times. Other Things to Note We have 2 dogs called Lucy and Alfie, Lucy is a small lab with 3 legs and Alfie is a jackapoo both small and completely harmless but due to this our home wouldent be suitable for anyone with an allergy to dogs. We live up an un- adopted road (basically a rickety lane) if you drive a low car you are welcome to park at the bottom of it (its less than a minute to walk up it) also if you enter it from the top as apposed to the bottom it is much better (though still not perfect), just message us for directions when booking as your sat nav will most likely take you the bottom way. Im a home baker, I make puddings and cakes in the home kitchen and then go to local farmers markets and events to sell them. This means a few things; I always have a good knowledge of events on in the local area, the house often smells of baking, you will sometimes find me in the kitchen in the middle of baking things. I try to work this around guests as much as possible but if you are planning to cook yourself lunch or want the kitchen at a specific time to cook tea just let me know. Also occasionally check in times may be later than you might want (occasionally 7pm). This is very rare and I try my best to work around guests but please message me before booking if you have a specific time you would like to arrive. We have a large garage under the property, it is secure and you are very welcome to store bikes, surf gear or other sporting equipment in here.
Gwalchmai is a small village with a local shop, pub and hairdresser about a 5 minute walk from our home. The pub does not serve food however we are only a 10 minute drive from either Rhosniger or Llangefni where lots of great eating establishment can be found (you are obviously more than welcome to cook your own meals in the kitchen either but if you could let me know about what time youd like to use the kitchen this would be a great help as at busy times of the year a lot of baking hours are done in it). We are located in the center of Anglesey half way between Holyhead and Menai Bridge. We are about a 1 0 minute drive from some of the best beaches on the island be it Rhosniger, Cabel Bay or Aberfraw. There are plenty of fantastic walks around these areas too aswell as ones from just outside our door.

An ideal retreat for those looking to escape the crowds and have some quite contemplative time. This cabin is designed to be modern and comfortable whilst being off grid in a truly unique location. Features include a mini kitchen with fresh cold water and a single ring gas camping hob provided for light cooking and hot drink making, modern bathroom including warm shower, toilet and sink, a log burning fire, a king size bed and a sofa.Outside is seating and space for a camp fire.
We think of this space as a retreat - it’s a world away from busy city life. Your nearest neighbour is more than a field away so you are absolutely private with an acre of land and lake to yourself. We have no other guests on site so this is the perfect place to escape the crowds and rest in the blissful isolation of nature 🌿💫🐇💕 This space is truly peaceful and secluded on our private lake close to the popular fishing village of Rhosneigr on Anglesey. At the lake is a huge variety of birds including swans, herons, gulls, cormorants, ducks, geese, moorhens, shags and many smaller birds too. Dragonflies and damsels flies and a very common sight, as are the abundance of fish in the water. Feel free to bring your fishing equipment as we permit fishing for guests. The clear skies at night provide spectacular star gazing opportunities - lying back outside your cabin looking up with the background wildlife orchestra is quite special. The cabin is completely off grid - it is not connected to electricity, water or drains! Electricity is solar and battery power, water is from our borehole and all water and toilets work as normal - therefore the cabin feels remarkably comfortably considering it’s off grid and located on the side of a lake and off the beaten track. It’s also very modern inside with everything needed to live comfortably. We don’t have WiFi or mains electric (so no TV and hairdryers...) but the modest solar setup provides enough electricity for the shower and we provide a battery pack phone charger. You have a big comfy bed, log fire, impressive bathroom and mini kitchen with cold water supply and single ring camping hob, as well as seating outside. There are mowed grassy areas around the lake for picnicking too. Perfect for; Romantic couples break Friends retreat (2 beds - 1 king+ 1 sofa bed) Working holiday (writer, musician etc) Nature enthusiasts Base to explore Anglesey Beyond the lake and it’s grounds is a vast marshland and also a working horse stud (which we’re more than happy to show guests around if we are home).
We are very close to Rhosneigr (30 minute walk, 5 minute drive) which is famous for its beaches and water sports. Trearddur Bay is about 15 minutes away by car and has plenty of very good places to eat and drink.

Don’t just take our word for it, read this review from a past guest. “I took my teenage son and dog for a mid-week stay. He loves plane spotting and so the apartment was perfect. A great view of the runway at RAF Valley and sometimes the planes flew over as they came into land. He also loved the trains passing at the side of the house. The sound insulation was good, so we weren't disturbed by the noise of the planes or the trains. The apartment is beautifully decorated and feels very spacious. We will definitely be going back with the rest of the family.”
