The Hayloft at Bainton - 2 bedroom cottage.

The Hayloft provides self catering holiday cottage accommodation fitted out to a high standard. The property is located in the pretty little village of Bainton situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds close to many tourist destinations such as Beverley, Hull, York and the east coast. The cottage has a private gravelled garden area with outdoor furniture, set within one acre of private land and includes off road parking. We welcome two well behaved dogs but they must not be left unattended.

This delightful cottage provides very comfortable accommodation for those looking to explore both the East Coast and the rolling hills of the Wolds. Sleeping up to 5 adults in 3 bedrooms this cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, underfloor heating, log burner. Patio looking over the fields and a garden shed for bike storage. Bathroom upstairs and a downstairs loo. There is a pub serving food in the village and a farm shop and cafe at Sledmere house which is a 5 min walk away.

It’s just a short stroll to the local pub, shop, farm shop and the locally renowned butchers. Excellent rail & bus links offer access to the Yorkshire coast and the market towns of Driffield (5 min) & Beverley (<10 min). Byre Cottage is a charming little cattle shed on private land that was restored and converted to a very high standard in 2019. It has it's own private entrance, private parking with EV charging point (Additional charge) and a fully enclosed south facing outside area with garden furniture. It lies in the rural village of Boynton, just 3 miles from the popular Yorkshire coastal resort & fishing town of Bridlington. I (Chris) live in the Old Forge with my husband & usually greet you upon arrival.

Nafferton is only a short walk away, with local shops, including new Spa and Garage and nice pubs serving excellent food. Driffield and Beverley are two lively market towns just a short drive away. Fraisthorpe Beach, Flamborough and Bridlington only a 20-to-25-minute drive away, if relaxing by the east coast is your preference. York and Scarborough are also within a 40-minute drive.

The Pump House is nestled within the Ancient village of Pockthorpe in the beautiful countryside of East Yorkshire. It is a renovated 200 year old farm building which has been lovingly restored to retain its original features including a deep well with glass top (reinforced!) pulleys and metal work. Spacious 3 bedroom cottage available as a whole separate property. Off road parking, small enclosed garden. Ideal for families with main bedroom with super king bed, another room with 2 single beds sharing family bathroom, walk in shower. Downstairs is a double room with adjacent shower room. Situated in the village just off the road overlooking our family farm. Dogs are welcome - just let us know. Opportunity to visit the horses by arrangement including mares & foals in the summer.
