I have a room available that I would like to share with guests & large open plan kitchen, dining & living space. This comfortable home enjoys stunning views of the village. 2 mins walk from a lovely country pub, further gastro pubs & village café all on the door step. A sweeping Georgian staircase leads to two grand en-suite double bedrooms. Light and sunny with south west facing windows overlooking the large front garden surrounded by mature trees. Relax in the king size French antique bedroom suite and spacious Victorian style bathroom. The interior decorations are lavish and opulent but undeniably quirky! In the drawing room the giant Salvador Dali hands table and chairs mingle with enigmatic shop window manequins wearing Carole Lee vintage ballgowns.

Welcome to our beautiful grade 2 listed Georgian home. This is the birth place of the artist Sir William Nicholson. We are happy to show visitors around our lovely historic house. Your room is a comfortable double with private facilities, you can use the lounge and garden. We have off street parking with room for your car or larger vehicles if you are staying for business. We are very popular with the visiting Antique Traders to the Newark Fairs and shops. There is plenty to explore locally.

Great place to stay & explore one of England's most lovely countryside areas. Farm shop, open for 20 + yrs, sells a wide range of home grown & home butchered meats & local flour, beers, ready meals & pies. Nr. Rutland Water, & Melton Mowbray, of pie fame, Stamford & Leicester. Great pubs abound, as do walks & entertainment of every kind.

There is a TV, WiFi, small table and chairs so breakfast of cereal, croissants and coffee/ tea can be enjoyed in the room or weather permitting in our courtyard. Quaint and quirky in a quiet rural spot on the edge of an ancient monument, only 5 minutes from the A1 and Newark Showground, between Newark and Lincoln. Dogs by request extra £10/dog.
