Located on the hill in Stinson Beach, this studio is just a short, life affirming walk to town and the beach. The studio has a full kitchen and bath, and some pretty stellar views of Mt. Tamalpais, the Pacific Ocean, sunset, and sunrise.
This fantastic studio was built in the 1930's and has been restored using care to keep it simple and beachy. The living area has a comfy couch and side chair. The TV has Apple TV and a DVD player, but no cable TV. There is an AM/FM radio with an AUX input for your iPhone. The studio has a full kitchen with a gas stove, marble countertops, microwave, Chemex or French Press coffer makers, toaster, pots, pans, and baking supplies, along with unique dishes and serving pieces. There is a comfortable Queen size bed, and the bathroom has the original fixtures along with a beautiful blue stone countertop. Everything is fresh and clean, with the old sinks and faucets blending nicely with the new paint, refinished floors, and updated kitchen appliances. There is a full (empty) closet with a chest of drawers, hangers, iron and ironing board. The deck is small but truly has one of the best views in all of Stinson Beach.

You will have a very private stay and may never see me, but if you need me for anything, I live right below you in a house located on the same property. If you need any recommendations for hiking, surfing lessons, or local restaurants, I am happy to provide information.
Altres aspectes destacables
This studio is an adults only property. It is not large, but perfectly appointed for two adult humans. One small (40lb or less) dog is welcome with a nightly fee of $30 (maxing out at $90 per week), but NO CHILDREN.
This is not a party destination, but it is a perfect place for a couple or two friends to enjoy all that Stinson Beach has to offer in a fully functioning studio apartment.
I will supply you with a few breakfast things to get you started (coffee, tea, milk, etc.), along with a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and bath soap.
For the beach, beach towels are provided in the studio. A beach umbrella and beach chairs are available in the garage.
There is a washer dryer in the garage that you are welcome to use. Due to septic restrictions this is use is limited to one time per stay.
I'm hoping that my guests will respect that Stinson Beach is located in a remote, beautiful, and somewhat delicate location. The entire town is on a Septic System, which means you need to monitor what goes down the drain and the toilet. It's not hard, but you'll need to be mindful and I'll give you guidelines.
Water is precious and expensive here. Short showers are appreciated.
The kitchen has Carrera marble countertops. So pretty, but porous and easy to mark up. Please wipe up after cooking being particularly careful with acidic foods like lemons and red wine.
No smoking inside the studio, but smoking on the deck is fine. Please use the provided ashtray.
You will have "Hollywood" parking for one car only in front of my garage. If you have a guest, they will need to find legal street parking.

I have two dogs and absolutely follow all these rules myself.
