Our guest reviews always mention their stay was quiet, peaceful, private and that the bed and shower were more comfortable then their own! We want you to feel like you can retreat and relax and have gone the extra mile. Enjoy a really comfortable bed, the choice of two shower heads (one with massage jets) in a large two person shower, handcrafted Moroccan textiles, tiles, brass lantern, wall sconces and a gold ensuite sink with gold taps to make your stay that little bit more luxurious.
Relax outside on the deck in your own private space surrounded by native bush and established trees. Fire up the bbq, read a book whilst lounging on the outdoor furntiture, surf the net whilst relaxing in the sun, or undertake business calls in complete privacy. Our business travellers love to base themselves here to do business across the Wellington region. We are far enough away to offer a quiet night's sleep and close enough to make getting on the Expressway easy. And if you're after a romantic getaway or wanting to feel pampered the Moroccan lighting offers a cosy night in!
The room has lots of amenities: fridge, freeview tv/dvd, toaster, kettle, heater, fan, microwave, cutlery, plates, glasses, continental breakfast supplies, table and chairs, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, clothes rack, heated towel rail, and access to an adjacent laundry if needed. There may also be some seasonal fruit in the room from our trees or some home baking!
Our location is handy to everything you need. We are within 2kms of the beach, the main Paraparaumu shops and supermarkets, and 700m from a family pub that has lovely restaurant meals. We're also 2kms from Southwards Car Museum, the Waikanae River and Otaihanga and walking and mountainbike tracks.
Lastly, we care about the environment. We collect rainwater and it is used for toilet flushing as well as irrigation. We recycle our food scraps for our worm farm and for composting. The worms generate a fertiliser that is great for our organic vegetable garden. We make soil from our leaves and add it to our compost and we add compost to the garden, which grows hearty vegetables which we share with our guests for breakfast!
It is our pleasure to host you!
