Our 4 bedroom home is in the heart of the Middle St Conservation Area, 60 metres from the beach, 2 minutes from the bustling high street with a cosy local pub just down the road. We love it here and hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
Perfect for a family escape, friends reunion of a romantic weekend away from the hustle and bustle. The house comfortably sleeps 8. It was built in the 18th century and still has much of the original wood panelled walls and flooring. It is spread over three floors with a kitchen and dining room on the ground floor. On the first floor is a beautiful panelled sitting room with sea views and wood burner; next door is the main bedroom with large en suite shower. On the top floor there are two double bedrooms, with king size beds, one twin with two large singles which can be pushed together, plus the family bathroom and further shower. There is also a lovely courtyard which traps the sun for breakfast and a garden room which gets the sun late into the afternoon.
PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE A 7 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY AND DURING PEAK SEASON (e.g. during school holidays). WE ONLY TAKE SATURDAY TO SATURDAY BOOKINGS EXCEPT OVER EASTER AND CHRISTMAS.

There is so much to see and do here in Deal. From castles (Deal, Walmer and Dover for starters), exploring the warren of narrow streets in the conservation area and vintage shops on the high street, to the farmers' market on a Saturday mornings and other quirky one off shops and then of course there's the beach and pier. It is also a couple of miles away from some of the best golf courses in the country. There are lots of great local walks and bike rides so plenty to do!
The conservation area is a warren of houses all nestling together so sound travels fast. We expect our guests to respect our neighbours at all times. Strictly no smoking. No food and drink upstairs. Small dogs are welcome to stay on prior approval and are limited to the ground floor and garden.
Newly married with our little dog Rosie we decided to embark upon our first project together. We explored the whole of the Kent coast and decided Deal was the place for us as we felt completely at home there despite not knowing very much about the town. We also noticed that Hamilton House was for sale that same afternoon and were overjoyed when it became ours earlier this year. The house had not been touched since the 70's so there was plenty to do. We have loved renovating this characterful house, retaining it's many charming original features. We have also completely fallen for Deal. It's such a fun and beautiful place to hang out. The next item on our shopping list is to install some log burners ready for the winter months but we need to save a few pennies first!
