Welcome to Sunnyside, the home of delicious food from around the world without the craziness and expensiveness of Manhattan. It is surprising to some that this neighborhood that is only 15 minutes away from Times Square can have so much to offer.

There are several taste-bud heaven Thai restaurants in the area like Thai Diva and Blu Orchid locating 5 minutes from the 46th st subway station. The Thai food here are the real deal if you want to go for some definition of “spiciness”. Make sure to order the medium spice-level drunken noodles with flank steak and a Thai-iced tea on the side. The Pad See Ew at these places are the bomb dot com!

There are several Chinese and Mexican markets for those who are into DIY cuisines. Fresh and Save is a go-to spot for many locals here. The neighborhood is perfect if you want to take a stroll around and enjoy fresh air, which are impossible in Midtown Manhattan. Feeling stuffy from all the dishes? Numerous gyms like Phyzique or Crossfit welcome you with open arms!
