Our light and airy guest annexe is a welcome retreat. Bordering the Ashdown Forest, 15 minutes from the nearest main line station, an hourly bus service connects with the station and local towns. The Bluebell railway has a station a short distance from the village. We are surrounded by many beautiful walks. Places of interest include a number of National Trust properties / gardens such as Sheffield Park and Standen, Kew's Wakehurst Place and the South of England Showground in Ardingly.
The accommodation built in 2015 has it's own entrance, it is adjoined to the main house by the kitchen spaces which have a locked door between when guests are staying to provide privacy. The main living area is very spacious, providing lots of room for a double bed, eating area and chairs for relaxing / watching TV. We can accommodate a small child on request with a single folding bed available. The ensuite has a rainfall shower with alternative power shower head if preferred. French doors open out on to the garden. We have five lovely Pekin chickens and two guineapigs in the garden.

The entrance to the annexe leads into the kitchen area. A few breakfast essentials are provided to get you started with a small fridge for you to store items that need to be chilled e.g. drinks, ready meals. Whilst there is no hob or oven, there is a microwave for your use, kettle, kitchen sink and cupboard with crockery and cutlery for your use. Whilst the garden is a shared space with the main house there is a private seating area for guests to the rear of the annexe.
