Charming cabin-inspired efficiency apartment on a quiet side street in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor. Just a stone's throw (literally) from Main St and a minute walk down the street to the ocean and Bar Harbor's famous Shore Path.
High speed wifi, SmartTV with Netflix provided (HBO, Hulu, Amazon, etc. are available to use with your own account), communal washer/dryer just outside your door, large closet, hair dryer, assorted supplies, Bose bluetooth player, and snacks.
Snug, intimate space that's perfect for couples looking for something well-situated and well-appointed. Decorated with antique maps of Mount Desert Island, Maine, and many books about the history of this area. The pristine bathroom has luxurious towels, heated marble floor, and a spa-quality shower big enough for two. The communal yard has a fire pit and a lighted bocce court for you to enjoy. Just outside your door is a large deck with a gas bbq grill. There is no kitchen here, but you are provided with a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave.

Self check-in. Door will be unlocked with the key inside. I've tried to supply everything I think I would want in a place like this, but if I've forgotten anything you might need, I'm sure I can get it to you quickly... I live on the property.
Altres aspectes destacables
Although the interior here is brand spanking new, the exterior of the house is under renovation... it's not too pretty at the moment. Don't worry though, I won't be doing any work while there are guests staying here!
- Quiet hours, especially outdoors, after 10pm.
- There's a lot of white in there, no shoes would be appreciated.
- Check-out by 11am.
Hey there. I was born in Maine and have lived in Bar Harbor for 17 years. I am a carpenter who has spent the past few months trying to create an intimate place for people who enjoy the convenience of being in town with some perks that you wouldn't expect so close to the Village Green. I'm happy to share some local knowledge with you or simply leave you alone if that's your thing. Did I mention the fire pit and bocce court... downtown?
