House listed in the Ashland Historic District, Virginia Landmarks Register and National Register of Historic Places. Amenities reflect a more gracious period. The proprietor lives in a separate wing, and is always available for help and information. Cats in confined room.
Ashland is called the Center of the Universe, and this house is located only a stones throw from the most important place in the Center of the Universe: Randolph-Macon College. There is nothing modern about the house, but it is well lived in and exudes the feeling of years ago.
