In response to Francis's review, there was a mixup with the unit (our fault, we apologised) when we realize it, we offered guest a full refund and also the option of a deep discount if that would make them very comfortable, they immediately accepted the huge discount we offered, in less than a minute.
Our building is historic, unique and very clean. This is the first time this occurred There had been times when a listing is not avail and we recommend another unit, but that is the guest's choice to accept before they are pre approved.
The unit that Francis group stayed in was a great space (see the other reviews) it was an upgrade, the kitchen was a tad smaller, however, it was a complete suite with all the amenities and more, the bed was upgraded from queen to a king, had a living room, cable package was upgraded, had a larger dining room.
The rates for the unit they stayed goes for approx. $74,per night, They paid $52 and we further discounted it to $36. per night. This is over a 50% discount for this unit.
With the deep discount these guests quickly accepted, and the upgraded space, we felt we have compensated them well.
