Situated in the centre of Grantown on Spey within the Cairngorm National Park on the famous salmon and trout River Spey. There is plenty to do on the hills water and by car. Sports facilities include leisure centre, hill walking, fishing, golf, nearby sandy beaches & the start of The Malt Whisky Trail. Grantown is in easy access of the coast and beaches in the north (Nairn), Inverness, the West and Western Isles for day trips.


The apartment is on the first and second floors accessed by a magnificent timber and cast iron carpeted staircase leading to an impressive first floor hallway.

The first floor can accommodate up to 4 guests in two double bedrooms.
On this floor there is a large double-aspected fully equipped modern kitchen (with table and chairs for casual use) separate Utility Room/WC including washer/dryer (but probably quicker to hang out to dry or at local laundry). There is a formal dining room with views over The Square to the side and over The Cromdale Hills and the High Street to the front. Both windows have wooden shutters.
The Master Bedroom is on this floor which contains a fourposter bed, adjoining dressing room both with wooden shutters to improve warmth and cosiness and excludes light for those who which to exclude light for a good night's sleep. Across the Hall is an amazing bathroom boasting double sink and mirrors, a huge copper bath tub and separate walk in electric shower and lavatory.
The Sitting Room is a large light room with flat screen t.v. and wooden shutters.
The second bedroom is a Double Room (with en suite shower, lavatory and a Super king Sleigh Bed).

The second floor can be accessed for larger groups of up to 8 guests and is reached by a continuation of the wonderful naturally lit staircase which leads to a small hallway. On this floor there are two further large double bedrooms (Third and Fourth) and a Bathroom/Shower/WC with adjacent Dressing room area. In addition there is a spacious Sitting Room/Entertainment Room (including dining table and chairs and a flat screen t.v)

Groups up to 4 persons, have access to the first floor of the property.
Groups up to 8 persons, will have access to the first and second floor of the property.

Guests have access to all communal areas in the property except for the small study area on First floor and the loft space on the Second Floor.

One parking space is available to the rear of the property but there is additional free parking in The Square and nearby streets.

Interacció amb els hostes

I will be available to greet guests on arrival to show them around the property and to respond personally to any requests or queries they may have. If I am not available to greet guests, I will make suitable alternative arrangements and notify guests accordingly.

There is a cooker, dishwasher, flat screen t.v., microwave and fridge freezer in the kitchen. There are a number of cafes, restaurants and bars within walking distance. A welcome pack will be provided on arrival to assist with the first morning's breakfast. Please identify any dietary issues before arrival. The apartment is not NUT free.

The entire property can be made available for larger parties at Christmas and or New Year on special request.

T.V's are not provided in bedrooms.

- All rubbish must be removed and placed in appropriate bins located in the car park.

An exceptional house with lots of space even for bigger groups, a great kitchen with all amenities, very clean and organised. Matrin was a very good host, who gave us lots of tipps about Grantown-on-Spey and the wider area. We would come back any time!

Beautiful apartment and central to all needs for being self catered. Clean with plenty toilet and bathing facilities. I'd recommend it for groups of 6 to 8 people.
