Our 3 acre organic property is great for unique Hawaii experience. House has 2 Large Bedrooms, 2.5 bath and beautiful outdoor living areas.

Great views of the ocean and the mountain.

Four wheel drive, all wheel drive or higher clearance vehicle is required.

There is a dog, sheep, cats, ducks and small fish pond on the property

Second bedroom is downstairs, separate entrance
Large King Bed, Bathroom with Shower, Small Fridge and work area. Nice Lanai with great views up the mountain, forest and coffee land.

Kitchen is downstairs as well, separate entrance from bedrooms. Fully equipped, Large refrigerator, dishwasher, two sinks, Gas Range, dining counter and small table.

We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights:

I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists
I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines

Serveis i zones comuns
You will have complete access to the entire home and yard. A caretaker lives in a small Ohana in one corner of the property.

Altres coses per tenir en compte
You MUST rent a vehicle with high clearance, All-Wheel Drive or four wheel drive. Our road is private, steep and not completely paved. It is not 'challenging' though. You will find many areas of the Island require high clearance or four wheel to have the ultimate experience. ALSO you MUST DRIVE SLOW, the road is private and maintenance is by us and our neighbors. This is Hawaii not Los Angeles :) Comfortable speed does vary by Vehicle, but you should never be greater than 8-10MPH on the road. Use 1st gear and 4x4H if you have it. Any complaints from neighbors will result in additional fees.

A lot great dining close by, grocery store within a mile, hiking, snorkeling, beaches, swimming and more, all close by!

The State of Hawaii requires us to collect taxes. There isn't a great way to do this on Airbnb site. It is a total tax of 14.75% (4.50% GET(1/20), 10.25% (7/19) Accommodation). We can add this via a 'special offer' when booking or you can PayPal or check upon arrival. Our License number is TA-098-501-4272-01. While not all hosts are doing this, we want to support Hawaii and be a legal business, keep our prices as low as possible and also want you to know where your money is going.

As of 11/10/19 we will be collecting the State of Hawaii taxes Prior to checkin, Mahalo.

Captain Cook is a small, quaint area. We are in a working coffee farm area. Two hours to Volcano National Park, 15 miles to Kona, 20 minutes to the shore line, and other great restaurants, shopping and beaches are all within minutes. We look down onto Kealakekua Bay and Captain Cook monument. Closest beaches are 6 miles, Stores and restaurants are within a couple of miles.
