We hope you have arrived safely and had no trouble finding our home.
We know you must be ready to relax and start your vacation, and we want you to make yourself at home right away.
Here are just a few housekeeping and maintenance tips during your stay:
The internet is under "kimshouse", password is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
Trash pickup is early Friday mornings (unless it is a holiday week, then delayed 1 day). Please place the trash on the curb Thursday evening. The large trash bins are located on the side of the house. After pick up please place the trash bins back along the side of the house.
We love being so close to the beach but the sand can be tough on wood floors. Please make your best effort to rinse off the sand prior to entering the home and shake off those sandy towels in the grass before laundering. We really appreciate your efforts. Beach chairs are located along the side of the house.
Our kitchen has new marble countertops. We love the look but they are very easily etched by any liquids left standing, especially citrus juice. Please wipe the counters down often as needed. We really appreciate your efforts!
The wine and liquor in the house is for the owners personal use only. We have locks on what we can but not the wine cooler in the kitchen. Thank you.
The dishwasher has a built in water softener and requires salt. If you notice the light is on please contact the owner.
*IMPORTANT* do not leave back door or door in guest bedroom open at any time. Coronado is full of critters who like to come in.
Please fill the fountain up in the back yard every 2 days so our little gold fish has clean water. He is pretty shy and not always visible. If you happen to notice the water is getting low please use the nearby hose to fill up so the motor doesn't go bad.
Please feel free to use the AC or heating as necessary but be mindful to keep all doors and windows closed if it is running.
The phone may ring on occasion. It is mostly solicitors so please don't feel the need to answer it. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Please note that checkout time is at 10am on the designated date of checkout.
Before you leave, we just ask a couple of favors to help our housekeeper prepare for our next guests.
Please take all trash, including bathroom trash bags, out to the trash cans on the side yard.
Please load all dishes into the dishwasher and run it on the normal cycle.
Please start a load of laundry if possible.
Please strip all used bed linens and place near the laundry room including towels.
Please turn the heat down to in the winter, and please turn the A-C up to in the summer or turn off.
Please lock all doors and close all windows.
Place the keys back inside the mailbox by the garage.
Your damage deposit will be refunded within a week or so of your stay and will be returned by mail via Wells Fargo or by credit card depending how you paid.

Condition of Property: Should the Guest discover any deficiencies with either the cleanliness of the Property or the condition of any of the furnishings/fixtures, the Owner should be notified upon check-in and every effort will be made to correct any such deficiencies. Further, should any appliance, furnishings, fixtures or structures in the home be damaged or broken during the guest’s stay, the Owner should be notified immediately so that the item may be repaired or replaced as soon as possible. Unless it is an emergency, the Guest should not contact a trades person or repair person without the Owner’s prior permission as this could result in unnecessary charges that may, in turn, impact the security deposit refund.
Check in and Check out Policy: Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Checkout time is 10:00 AM. since there will be times when a new party will be arriving on the same day as Guest’s departure, a fee of $100 per hour will be assessed for check-outs later than 10:00 AM. An early check-in or late check-out may be requested and will be granted at the discretion of the Owners.
House Rules and Regulations: Please NO PETS on the premises unless an additional $500 security deposit has been received and NO SMOKING allowed in the house or on the property. If it is reported that pets were brought into the house, or there was smoking, the Guest’s security deposit will be forfeited and the Guest risks possible eviction. Additional cleaning fees will be charged in the event that the cleaning staff determines that smoking had occurred or pets were brought into the house. Please limit noise outside of the home. Because we are close to the beach we ask that every precaution be made to rinse the SAND off prior to entering the home. There is a hose provided just outside the front door behind the gate.
Parking is located on the street. Parking is provided in the driveway or on the street. Garage access is not provided.
Renters Agreements: Guest hereby agree that Guest shall leave the premises in the same order as Guest found them and that Guest shall not exceed the number of persons allowed in this Agreement without prior consent of Owner. If more than the number of persons is found to occupy the house, or if excessive cleanup is required, additional charges for such persons and additional maid service will be charged and deducted from the Security Deposit. Guest shall nevertheless be fully responsible for any damage to the premises in excess of the Security Deposit, plus reasonable costs of collection, including but not limited to attorney’s fees, if necessary. Damage caused by your guests or invitees shall be your financial responsibility.
Without our prior written permission, Guest shall not host special events or gatherings of more than your stated party. Guest shall not conduct any events or activities that might interfere with the peace and enjoyment of the property’s neighbors, including any traveling noise after 10:00 p.m. at night. If Guest is found to be entertaining more guests than approved by Owners in the rental agreement without Owner’s prior written permission, or are creating traveling noise after 10:00 p.m., you will be asked to vacate the property immediately, and will forfeit the remainder of your rental as well as your Security Deposit.
You hereby agree that Owners, or our designees, may enter and inspect the premises for any reason at any reasonable time during your stay as well as employ our maintenance
personnel as needed. Upon departure, Guest agrees to clean and follow the checkout procedures specified in the Agreement.
You and all of your guests and invitees undertake all use of the property at your own risk. No subleasing or assignment to others is permitted under any circumstances.
Owners Agreements: Owner will take reasonable measures to ensure that the house and amenities are in reasonable working order. Owner shall bare the cost of all utilities, trash removal, local telephone service, the use of all personal property made available to renters, including kitchen equipment, dishes, linens, outdoor furniture, and outdoor grill. Owner will provide cleaning on your departure date. If you require additional maid service, we can make it available upon request for additional charges.
Furnishings and Personal Property: Guests may not remove or re-arrange any furniture, artwork, or decorative elements, such as carpets, vases, lamps, candles, etc., as this may impact the amount of the security deposit refund. Guests are welcome to use beach chairs, towels and bogey/skim boards at their own risk.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless: Guests should exercise caution and proper safety measures while enjoying the property and its amenities. Guests shall indemnify and hold Property Owners free and harmless from any and all liability, claims, loss, damage or expenses arising by reason of any injury, death or property damage sustained by any person including Guest or Invitee or Employee of Guest of any kind or loss (including attorney’s fees and costs) resulting from the use of the Property. The Owners assume no responsibility and all Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Owners for all of the above. All such amenities will be used at the Guest’s own risk.
The Owners are held harmless and will not be held liable or responsible for any disaster, act of God, accident, or unseen event that may affect the Property. There will be no refund for early departure for any reason. The Owners are not responsible for articles lost, stolen or left behind at the Property.
