My family of four stayed in "Big Nick" during an unusually warm October fall break. This treehouse is 1 of 3 available treehouses on the same property. We had a great time 'glamping' here, building fires in the fire pit, cooking outside, lounging in the hammock, playing games, etc. "Big Nick" came with nearly everything we needed, including towels, a bunch of cooking utensils for the fire pit, plus a ton of freshly chopped wood. The beds weren't anything fancy, but were comfortable enough.
We enjoyed staying here, but I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed by the design of "Big Nick". The photos you see here (at the time of this writing) only show the interior of the larger treehouse. The second treehouse - we discovered upon arrival - was much smaller and didn't include an air conditioning unit. Because the nights were so unusually hot for October, we all ended up staying together in the main treehouse. It was fine, but my kids were looking forward to staying in their own treehouse (as were we), so it wasn't quite what we expected. Outside of that, we enjoyed our time at "Big Nick" and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, fun getaway.
