Cait's family was a pleasure to meet, and on our first night we shared tea and stories with her and her sons. The location is stunning, with rocky landscapes and a beautiful view of the sea. It was a little ways far from Galway, but not a deal breaker at all. Unfortunately we did not have any internet during our stay, which was a little problematic. We aren't sure if we misunderstood anything in that regard, but in any case, internet may not be guaranteed. The bathroom and bedroom were very spacious and clean. The location is perfect for anyone wishing to visit Aran Island; only 30 minutes to the ferry.
Cait was a great host. The location of the property was great, just a short drive from the hall in Leitir Meallain. Towels were changed daily which was excellent, Cait even rang us to make sure it was ok to go into the room to change the towels, lovely gesture! Property very clean. Breakfast was great to start the day and consisted of cereal, juices and toast. Cait was very accommodating with arrival and check out.
A beautiful apartment with beautiful views. The apartment had everything we needed and more. Cait's mother-in-law was there to meet us with a smile and was extremely pleasant and helpful. I can really recommend this accommodation and perfect place, sunset there was breathtaking. Thank you again for amazing time spent there!
Nice family hosts, offering a clean modern home in a somewhat remote location with good views of the Aran islands from Lettermullen. Be aware that Cait and Paul are smokers, if you have allergies or concerns in that department. Make certain to confirm directions prior to arrival, as mobile service and GPS get a bit spotty on the approach by land. "Ard" means hill (there are plenty), and there is a town nearby by the same name which is definitely not right. We made several errors navigating to Cait's home, arriving many hours later than we had intended. She was kind and patient, waiting up very late for us to arrive. We only stayed one night but enjoyed a short visit with her before departing the next day.
