We have lived and loved life in the Cotswolds for more than forty years. We enjoy gardening, bridge, Scottish Country Dancing, and all country pursuits. One particular favourite is bird watching. We have a vast array of bird feeders and assorted bird food within close proximity to both the kitchen and dining room windows. We have two well behaved dogs, Doris and Kibble, who keep us fit, although I think there are so many beautiful places locally to visit and walk around, we don't really need the dogs as an excuse!! Westonbirt Arboretum is a firm favourite, as is the beautiful Roman town of Cirencester. Tetbury, home to Highgrove and the famous Highgrove Shop are within a 15 minute drive, and the Georgian City of Bath a mere 40 mins. Regency Cheltenham, and the magnificent Gloucester Cathedral a stone's throw away. Unusually for a small town, Wotton under Edge is served by a local cinema, and in addition to the latest releases, they also put on an excellent programme of foreign and classic films, which we really make the most of. Sally is an excellent cook and John cooks the breakfast.
