Hacienda Lucero: Your Tropical Lakefront Escape

Amazing views from our two bedroom lake house in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico. The house is on a hill overlooking Lake La Plata and surrounded by 12 acres of private rain forest. It is a quiet place perfect for nature lovers, bird watchers and photographers. There are about two miles of hiking trails as well as lookout points where you can enjoy sunsets and sunrises. If you use a 4x4 vehicle you can drive down to the floating dock to drop in your kayak or use ours. Please enjoy the trails and hikes.

Recomendamos rentar un vehículo SUV o 4x4 para su tranquilidad, si no está acostumbrado a transitar en la Montaña. Una vez comienzas a subir a la montaña, es por calles con curvas y algunas pendientes empinadas, pero completamente transitables.

Located in Dorado, only at 25-35 mins from the airport and San Juan. It is a safe and fantastic neighborhood with a mix of locals and tourists. By car, you are 25 min from Old San Juan, 10 min from the Bacardi Distillery and less than 2 minutes walk from the beach. Dorado it's a vibrant city with much to offer, including museums, historic homes, golf courses and pristine beaches. For those looking for relaxation, bars, cafes and great restaurants this is your best choice.

Beautiful and cozy apartment located a few steps from the beach. Cozy Blue Apartment is close to a mini market and 5 minutes from the nearest shopping center. Restaurants, local bars and cinema are just 5-10 minutes away. The city of Dorado is a 35-minute drive from Old San Juan, Condado and the airport. We recommend our off-island visitors to rent a car so they can enjoy themselves better at this peaceful and centrally-located place.
