Only 1/2 a block from the beach and about one kilometer from the busiest hub of Lakeshore Drive, you can park your car in the driveway, and explore on foot. Stay busy with board and lawn games, books, a fire pit, and a hot tub and enjoying the beautiful garden are just a few things to do without leaving The Getaway. Cabin Retreat-Steps from the Beach

Entire cabin steps from a quiet beach, in the peaceful cabin area of Sylvan Lake. Take the boardwalk to our downtown restaurants, children's parks, and local shops! Use our paddle boards and beach gear to experience the lake. Enjoy our firepit, front and back decks, and private enclosed backyard. Parking provided conveniently out front. From our location you can walk anywhere and save the parking fees. Our cozy cabin is equipped with all the necessities you need for a wonderful stay at the lake!

Relax & unwind in this homey cabin with a hot tub with your favorite beverage or have a good old camp fire 🔥There is a BBQ for grilling. Get away from the hustle and bustle here as there is no traffic noise and no sirens, just the sound of the wind whistling through the trees. Take a stroll on the trails through the trees and enjoy the sunset from the swingset. Its a short drive to the westcountry for hiking/ bike trails. The historic Rosebud Cafe

Natural beauty surrounds this historic getaway. The sunrises from here are unrivalled along with stunning expansive views. The building has evolved from a teacherage to a grain bin to a Cafe & now the tiny guesthouse you see. Rustic in nature with separate outdoor composting toilet (see pics for throne room interior!) & outdoor shower (summer only). Numerous walking trails on the 160acres double for XC skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Property is shared with a cabin, campsites and a treehouse.

The views of the calm lake in the morning are spectacular, and there are some fantastic restaurants and breweries in the neighbourhood.
