Ideal for couples or a family looking for a long or short stay, a spacious three-bedroom former net loft and fisherman's cottage that is pet-friendly with an enclosed courtyard and garden in the beautiful Cornish fishing village of Porthleven. We have Wi-Fi, a large kitchen/diner, and two sitting rooms, one with a wood burner and both with smart TVs. We are a short stroll to the beach and harbour with its award-winning restaurants and a great selection of cafes, pubs, shops, gym and market.

Anchor Cottage is a quintessential fisherman's cottage tucked away in a quiet and secluded part of Old Porthleven, but still just a stone’s throw away from the beautiful beach, harbour, cafes and award winning restaurants. This traditional cottage retains many original features and oozes character and charm whilst also updated to ensure it's comfortable, cozy and warm with a great wood burning stove for winter. There is a south facing garden with a patio area for outside dining in the sun.

It is a 'foodies heaven' with a range of eateries to cater for all tastes and budgets. There are 4 pubs in the village all within a 5 minute walk. Lovely art galleries. Accommodation for two in quiet village, thirty nine steps above the beach, with direct access onto coast path. Fantastic views, clean air and rural surroundings in a well equipped annexe. Please note we are fairly isolated with no shop but the pub has recently sold and will reopen November2025. Up date….hurrah the village pub, the Five Pilchards, a 3 minute walk away, is now open with a great menu as well!.
