This petite but perfectly formed coastal cottage is tucked away from the crowds in idyllic, rural Wales, just 500m walk from the stunning Welsh Coast Path and just a mile from the nearest of a wide choice of clean, unspoiled sandy beaches. The property, sitting amongst trees in it's own private space, is essentially a fully insulated timber frame house - but petite, so hence described as a cottage (not a cabin!), cosy in winter and cooler in summer - offering a perfectly relaxing getaway!

Feel relaxed as soon as you enter the light filled old post office, fully renovated with open plan lounge with dinning area and wood burning stove, separate bedroom, fully furnished kitchen, power shower and separate loo. There is access to your own private garden from the lounge which is fully fenced for dog safety your own private parking to the side of the cottage.

Open plan living area and kitchen are situated upstairs, to take advantage of the glorious views. The living area leads out to a decked balcony which overlooks the Afon Hawen Valley.

Yr atodiad is a short walk from the Wales Coastal Path, making it a perfect base for walkers to discover secluded coves, dramatic cliffs and clean beaches where seals and dolphins can often be viewed. This beautiful, lesser-known part of West Wales is the envy of many and a key reason people return time after time.

Capel Cwtch

The Cwtch is a private guest suite in the garden of our home: a 1870 chapel. It is situated between New Quay and Cardigan conveniently off the A487. Guests will enjoy the light and airy room with a lovely outlook. People staying will have sole use of the hot tub and garden spaces. There is also an outside bar/kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, table top oven, air fryer, George Foreman grill and kettle. There is off street parking.

The Old Dairy

The Old Dairy, our beautifully restored stone barn, sleeps 2 people in a double bedroom. The open plan living room and kitchen has exposed beams and wood and slate floors. It is fully accessible. Easy access to local beaches and walking. If the Old Dairy is booked for the dates that you want, check with us on the availability of the Hayloft, our two bedroom cottage - we may be able to offer that cottage to you for the same price.

Y Cartws is a romantic welsh cottage on a 16 acre smallholding just a mile from the stunning West Coast of Wales. In an idyllic sheltered valley surrounded by pretty woodland and countryside, ponds and widlife it is the perfect spot to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
