The “spa-like” bathroom boasts an overhead rain shower head & removable wand combo, a teak bench, shower essentials & fresh towels.

Thoughtfully remodeled while keeping the character of the original home, the space is simple, comfortable, and designed for rest.

You'll have your own entrance which gives you your privacy. You can enjoy walking along the beautiful Olympic Valley meadow to the Village (0.8 miles) or walk through the quiet neighborhood...or be right there driving. Hiking Granite Peak or Shirley Canyon, biking along the meadow and the Truckee River to Tahoe City, Downhill skiing, snowshoeing.

Because it's forested and in a cement house, the wifi is not great. There's A/C in the summer and a propane 'wood' stove for winter. Nearby walking trails. The apartment is located in the bottom of our house and has a separate entrance, kitchen, queen bed + bathroom. The property has a pond & patio. It's forested, secluded, and quiet.

We worked hard to keep the charm of the turn of the century character while making sure we updated the space to offer modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Homewood Hideaway's 2 Bedroom Flat

Sandy and I have opened up the option to choose the Homewood Hideaway 2 bedroom flat as well...The description is the same as the 1 bedroom flat.. We except 1 small-medium size dog 50lbs and under, by interview only.. You will be charged $35 a day for the dog.. The dog will not be left unattended in the unit without being confined to a kennel.. Please don't let your dog on our furniture or beds...If you bring a dog without our knowledge you may be asked to leave.
