Camping on a private island in the Kawarthas

Campout on your very own private island in the Kawarthas. Great for swimming, fishing, and enjoying nature. 14 foot aluminum boat provided, no motor...but it's only about 150 ft from our dock on shore to our dock on the island. Boat traffic on the Trent can be a little busier on weekends, so there could be the odd wave which could make it difficult for swimming with or even fun for children. Always wear proper PFD Weekend noise from the trailer park can sometimes go into the night past midnight.

Relax at our all-season, family- and pet-friendly Kawartha Lakehouse on an eastern-exposure waterfront with stunning views of Buckhorn Lake. Enjoy air conditioning during your stay. The screened-in dining room and dock provide a perfect space to unwind, rain/shine. The lakehouse features a fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, with fresh linens on all beds. A canoe and two kayaks are incl. While there's a clean, shallow sandy beach for wading, swimming is not possible off the dock due to weeds.

The kids can entertain themselves for hours on our spacious retreat with a Ninja course, trampoline, outdoor games (seasonal) and amazing fishing at the dock!

The Lakeland Loft/A quiet getaway/near Bobcaygeon

The Lakeland Loft is situated on a peaceful one acre property with over 200 feet of shore line and surrounded by forest and walking trails. This property is minutes from the Bobcaygeon Lock by road or boat. The loft is located on the second story of a self contained building and has a private entrance. The Loft has been totally renovated for use by guests and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. There is a dock for guest use. A public boat launch is about 5 minutes away.

Swimming, fishing, biking, hiking, 8 golf courses, fire pit with amazing sunsets, available for Christmas, New Year's & summer holidays. July- Aug there is a 7 night min stay, Fri to Fri.

Country Cabin -One- by the Trent River

My place is on a dead end street, close to family-friendly activities, small towns, fishing, horseback riding and swimming . It is rural and quiet. The cabin is spacious, fully equipped, clean and comfortable. It is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Bedroom 1: queen with a single on top. Bedroom 2: double with a single on top. Living-room has a sofa bed in. *Please note our "NO PETS" policy. There are two cabins on the property.

Pretty Stoney Lake Cabin Suite

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.

Escape for Two with Hot Tub and BONUS Fireplace

Cute and quiet cottage on Rice Lake/Otonabee River with a wood burning fire place for 2 people! Just 10 mins to Peterborough and an hour from GTA. In the winter months we have a skating rink and an Outdoor Hot Tub (hot tub is Oct 3-June 2)! In the Spring Summer and Fall we have free use of kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, peddle boats and beach. Boat and seadoo rentals are available on site. In the winter we keep three cottages open (each has their own hot tub).

Big Bear Cabin - Modern Creekside A-frame

Come visit our A-frame cabin in the woods on Eels Creek! I built this place myself over the past 18 months with some generous help from my friends and supervision from wife (in the form of naps). The area is known for its snowshoe and cross-country ski trails. At night we welcome you to cozy up by the outdoor firepit and enjoy the stars. Lots of firewood is provided with your rental. In the warmer months there is lots of hiking and paddling to do.
