This cottage is located in Wanchese, a quiet fishing village in the Outer Banks. The 3 bed 3.5 bath home is a mere 200 yards away from a public boat ramp & offers 61’ boat parking, an outdoor fish cleaning table, grill & picnic table. It’s a 15 min drive to the beach. Have a cup of coffee on the porch while watching fishing boats head out for their daily catch and enjoy views of Bodie Island Lighthouse. Summer is winding down, ocean temperatures are mild, and the best season on the Outer Banks is fast approaching. Enjoy marsh views with an ocean backdrop from the covered porch of our little modern beach house. Designed and built by us, the Surf Bug has handcrafted details and everything you might need to feel at home while away from home. The beach is just a three minute walk without crossing any streets. I am a meticulous cleaner, and the white 100% cotton bedding is made in Portugal.

This brand new tiny house (Mini Mahalo) completed in 2023 has amazing ocean views from the semi-oceanfront lot. Just steps to the beach with a great outdoor shower and hot tub. The bedroom is upstairs with a king bed and great ocean views. The kitchenette has a microwave, breville countertop oven, dishwasher, blender, small drip coffee maker and a kitchen sink. There is an outdoor propane grill underneath the house.
