Nestled on the edge of the creek on our 10-acre farm is our quaint little 275sqft A-frame cabin. Watch the moon travel across the window from the queen size pillow top bed in the loft. On the main floor there is a pull-out couch for an added guest, a table for meals/games, a tiny kitchen with cold water only & a composting toilet. Outside is a lovely little patio and firebowl right on the creek bank. Watch the birds, deer and fish. We have cows, geese, bees and chickens you are welcome to meet.

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

Welcome to Applewood Retreat, a warm and cozy studio cottage located in a country setting awaits your relaxing fall/winter getaway. After a day of exploring beautiful Vancouver Island, with its many hiking opportunities or heading back from a ski trip up Mount Washington, unwind with our Nordic Spa experience nestled among the apple trees. A combination of a hot-cold-rest circuit, featuring a wood fired barrel sauna, cold bucket dump and a period of rest by the fire pit.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.

The Innlet Hideaway - 3 Bed with Ocean Views

Nestled amongst the trees, relax and reset in this unique home where the curated interior mirrors the beauty of the nature surrounding it. The large sprawling deck allows you to peacefully soak in the views of the Sechelt Inlet. Or take a moment or three to appreciate the large arbutus tree etched across your sight line. Our place is easy to find, but hard to forget.

Licensed Home in Parksville since 2018

Full home, 6 mins drive to community park beach or 15 mins walk. Fully fenced backyard, BBQ , high speed internet w cable streaming TV, bedrooms have streaming TVs w Netflix, fully equipped kitchen, 10 mins walk to restaurants and grocery, liquor etc. No smoking. Dogs considered, please inquire first before booking w age and breed. Thank you
