We modernized some of the material of a Gassho-zukuri but kept other traditional Japanese building techniques. We use as interior wall cladding a typical burned wood approach aka Shou Sugi Ban and mix that with modern materials and Asian accents. We have three dogs and a cat who are part of the family. We also share our spaces with much wildlife.

Balay Asiano is located in Brgy. Binduyan, 76 kilometers from Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. The entire property is exclusively yours, whether you’re a solo traveler or a group of six. Food & Essentials: Binduyan has no large stores, so we recommend bringing your own ingredients. If you’d like, we can cook for you at a rate of ₱1,000 per day (2–3 meals). Purified drinking water is provided.
