Sitting in the Rock River Valley, Oregon, Illinois is a charming town with much to offer visitors. Three state parks full of hiking trails are nearby. Rent canoes or kayaks to float down the scenic Rock River. Walking distance from our home is Park West with a trail, tennis courts, play area, splash pad and a sledding hill. Downtown Oregon's restaurants, bars and stores are a short drive or a pleasant walk. For business travelers, the Byron plant, Woods, Etnyre and KSB Hospital are short drives.

Nestled along the banks of the Rock River under tall oaks, ye ol cabin was built by early settlers in 1907. Legit rustic charm. Secluded yet only 10 mins from town. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after the first 2 ppl, incl. visitors. 3 night minimum w/ Fri or Sat. 2 night min. for Sun-Thurs. Whispering Pine is home to the original home that was built here in the 1940’s. The remodeled inside has two bedrooms. Our cabins have full kitchens, stocked with china, silverware, pots & pans. The backyard sits high on a bluff overlooking Pine Creek. There is private lawn furniture, a fire ring & grill outside. If you find yourself inside you can cuddle near the gas fireplace or watch tv. The cabin is also equipped with wifi. You are sure to leave Pine Creek feeling relaxed & refreshed.

The Corner Cabin

The cabin has a view of the peaceful Rock River. Very relaxing & cozy. Minutes from Castle Rock State Park. Enjoy canoeing, fishing, & hiking trails. Reconnect with nature, play a board game, barbecue, watch the birds & engage in outdoor activities. Enjoy exploring the quaint small towns, antiquing, & local restaurants. Go from city life to country life, just “90” minutes from Chicago. This is a great place to relax & unwind. Due to location & your carrier you must be patient with our WiFi.

The Loft is an upstairs apartment just a few blocks from downtown Byron, IL and near many local attractions and recreational places/activities. Completely renovated and updated. Clean, bright, and well appointed. This unit has two bedrooms - 1 with a king bed and 1 with a queen bed. There is 1 bathroom with a shower only. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Please note this unit is on the second floor - with an inside and outside staircase. This property has central heat and air.

Enjoy a cozy and clean relaxing visit at, "Ann's Place!" Fully refreshed this year with new amenities, linens, bedding inside and outside. The outside has great off street parking along with a sitting area. Enjoy the quiet neighborhood or a stroll down to the river. The Rock River is located two blocks from Ann's Place along with a playground for littles to run. Hairy Cow Brewing is located along the Rock River and just a 5 minute walk from Ann's Place. No pets allowed.
