Take a stroll down to the most amazing swimming hole ever. Venture further afield to the lovely Innott Hot Springs or the superb Millstream Falls (both 10 minutes drive). Birdwing Hut in the Rainforest

This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

The nearest bus stop is a 15 minute walk from the property. The bus takes you all over the island bays.

Join Jess for Friday and Saturday morning yoga and coffee if you wish on the other side of the rainforest garden.

The property has Petersen creek and the Curtain Fig National Park as its western boundary. An abundance of birdlife prevails. The property is ideal for relaxing, pottering around exploring the property, relaxing down at the creek, lighting the fire in the evening or exploring Yungaburra and surrounds.
