This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Please note - bathroom refurbishment completed March 2026. The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but it no longer has a separate shower.

A sumptuous 3 bedroomed house nestled down a very quiet country lane. With amazing views of unspoilt countryside. In spring 2021 we are adding a flagged outside seating area with pergola and barbecue. The master bedroom has an egg bath overlooking the view and a terrace overlooking the countryside. We are 10 minutes drive from Chatsworth, 20 minutes from Bakewell. We are on the edge of the Peak District and rich in choice of walking routes. 4 pubs and 3 restaurants. Sorry, no children under 8.

On the hillside below Riber Castle the property is surrounded by horse pastures and farmland. There are stunning views from every window. The house has been completely renovated with the input of an interior architect to an extremely high standard. Many of the original Victorian features have been retained and stylishly combined with a super modern kitchen and bathrooms.
