Bird's Nest is a private sunny family house surrounded by a secluded peaceful garden with lots of trees and birds. A perfect place to relax and rest with your family while exploring the Abel Tasman Nationalpark, the Great Taste Cycle Trail or the Richmond Hills. The Richmond Hills have lots of walking and mountain bike trails with fantastic views over the Tasman Bay. Rabbit Island with its wonderful beach and spectacular scenery is also a great place to enjoy the day and just 15 min away by car.

"Seas The Moment" - The Commodore Suite

Situated under ten minutes drive to City, Beach, Golf Course, Airport. Overlooks the sea, mountains, beach. The Commodore Suite, situated on the entrance level of our house, is sunny, very warm, light and airy. One bedroom, bathroom, living area & kitchenette with 2 hobs, microwave, slow cooker, air fryer and bench top grill. BBQ available on the upper deck as is use of that deck. Washer and dryer available in our living area which guests always welcome to use. Not suitable for children.

This property is truly magical and unique - suited for people who not only want something different but also want peace, quiet and tranquility. An eco cabin and covered deck, a comfortable queen sized bed , quality linen, basic cooking, a compost loo and a wonderful outdoor hot shower. Five minutes drive to both Tahuna beach and town and yet away from it all. Dogs are very welcome but if more than one dog please contact me . No kids though due to steep hillside. There is a railing.

The Tin Cans- A funky tiny house.

"The Tin Cans" are a unique tiny home, purpose-built for two people. Two shipping containers have been beautifully finished and re-purposed into a beautiful studio. Cladded in totara and surrounded in native bush, vege gardens and native birds. The covered deck has all day sun and huge views down the valley which adds to a sense of privacy. It has light meal making facilities including a fridge and hob stove to cook a meal. Not quite off the grid, but a compost toilet and a quirky charm.

The 'Retreat': is a family run designer studio flat with access to a cottage garden, inviting you to sit out and relax in...seasonal honey from our own beehive. Tucked away and private at the foot the Grampians it's just 10 minute walk to the heart of Nelson city. Great spot for mountain bikers, trampers and workshop attenders. Ask if you have any questions- entry time, one night,extra bed. Currently no pets allowed, garden is unsuitable presently.

Down in the Valley

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. You will have the use of 2 pods connected with a deck in our back garden with views over the valley. The small pod has a day-bed, that can be made up for sleeping if requested. The modern and comfortable pods are designed by “Podlife”. Enjoy the rural setting, yet only a 10 minute drive from Nelson and even closer to the iconic Boulderbank. If you plan to bring your dog, check with us first.

Vanguard Studio

Cosy studio nestled snuggly behind our 1900s villa home. A 20 minute walk to the city centre. There is a park directly across the road. The studio contains a comfy queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. Essentials are provided. Our studio offers a comfortable base from where you can explore all Nelson Tasman has to offer. A 10 minute drive to the airport and beach and 5 minute walk to Nelson Hospital. We are in a suburban area.
