Getaway cottage on a private beach on the majestic Kootenay lake. Gorgeous view of the mountains and the city of Nelson. Right next to famous Pulpit rock hiking trail. From parking to home there are 5 stair cases & 112 steps, it's sadly not for mobility reduced individuals. If available, we ca help with your bags. Nelson is a very special city. It has many restaurants and store that offer organic foods as well as vegan options. Lots of artists and galleries to shop from or simply to visit.

Recently featured in Best AirB&B Canada! This lake front, 4 bed/2 bath, home features stunning views, an exceptionally private sandy beach - all 1 mile from town. The walkout basement offers an equipped mud room to dry out your gear and a rec room with a queen sleeper sofa + TV (can double as a semi private 5th bed). Max 6 ppl (incl infants). A lockable shed for your sport gear is provided. Please note that the home has a strict no pet/party rule. Approved non registered guests only (max 4).

By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

Kokanee Suite at The Landing

Conveniently located right next to the Balfour Ferry Landing, above Balfour’s most vibrant and locally owned restaurant The Landing. Unwind and relax at this peaceful and unique mountain view Kootenay lake retreat. This one-bedroom suite with full kitchen and bathroom includes all of the amenities of home. Enjoy a beachfront fire pit with wood provided. This suite has the perfect location close to hot springs, golf courses, biking, fishing, skiing and enjoy all that Balfour has to offer.

The Rusty Bear - Waterfront home on Kootenay Lake.

The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Blue Heron micro Beach House (A-Frame)

Relax in this charming and newly renovated micro suite with your own private beach. This 400 square-foot A-frame includes your own private beach for peace and tranquility. Location is off the main highway so easy to find and very accessible but does have some highway noise. Some accessibility issues with the stairs to the loft bedroom and the 200 meter walk down to your private beach. The path winds through a small cedar forest and over the creek bridge. A little bit of forest bathing.

Tall Trees Kootenay Lakefront Vacation Suite

Arrive at Tall Trees down a long, winding driveway through thick, natural forest. Stroll down the lawns past epic organic gardens to our new 100’ dock on beautiful Kootenay Lake. Soak in the sun-drenched south facing view from our private bay & beach. Fire up the BBQ on the patio in front of your NEW, bright and spacious 2 bedroom suite. 6 night+ stay required between June 21 and Sept 7. 3 night minimum otherwise. NO SMOKING anywhere on property. Ainsworth Springs Suites - Kutenai Suite

Directly across from the entrance to Ainsworth Hot Springs and situated on Kootenay lake. The suite is spacious and features incredible lake and mountain views, a private deck, a fully equipped kitchen, and private access to a secluded beach. It is the perfect, quiet get-away. NOTE: Please check the hot springs website for further information about access to the hot springs. We are separate from the resort. Pet friendly ($20 pet fee per stay charged separately)

Longbeach Suites 2 Bdr. On the lake.

Longbeach suites, located on the west arm of Kootenay Lake 21 kms north of Nelson BC providing 171 ft. of beach front. We have two separate suites available on the upper level of our home overlooking the beach. The suites are accessed from the parking area by one of two stair cases or an enclosed wheel chair lift to the upper deck. A new saltwater system hot tub has just been installed for your pleasure
