Swan Cottage is very dog-loving & dog-welcoming home. The yard is not fenced, but we do provide ground stakes & cable ties.

This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.

Welcome to The Loon's Nest. A fully renovated bungalow on a double lot w/50' of lake frontage and expansive views of water, sky & nature. There's also a seasonal bunkhouse in back. Together the 2 dwellings sleep 7 people. During warmer weather months (May-October), guests also have FREE & exclusive use of a pontoon boat, 2 kayaks and private beach w/dock on the property. The Loon's Nest is a very dog-welcoming place. Yards are not fenced, but we provide ground stakes & cable ties.

Enjoy the intimate feel of the cottage with cozy rooms and a fully stocked kitchen for you to enjoy eating in. Downtown Newaygo has many restaurants and shopping if you want to venture out.
