Quiet residential area with beautiful forest and hiking trails, and fantastic views over Mjøsa lake. The cabin has electricity & kitchen tap water. Fireplace on both floors to keep you warm & cozy. Free firewood available. Both shower and toilet are outside. Parking space enough for 2 cars or caravan. NB: bed linen and towels not included in the price, but can be rented extra.

Steinhyttene på Kastad gård ligger usjenert til i fantastiske naturomgivelser. Hytta i skogen har som de andre hyttene fantastisk utsikt over Mjøsa og Kastadtjernet. Her kan du koble av og våkne til en deilig frokostkurv med nystekte croissanter. Passer for 2 personer. Skogen er en av 3 steinhytter på gården. De andre to er Røysa og Åkeren. Hytta har privat terasse, 1 bad og 1 soverom + sovesofa i stue med tilsammen 4 sengeplasser. Det gamle sommerfjøset til Hovelsrud Gård ligger idyllisk til mellom Mjøsa og en bølgende kornåker – et enkelt og unikt sted for den som vil komme tett på naturen og nyte roen på Helgøya. Huset passer best for et par eller en liten familie med inntil to barn. Inne er det et soverom og en åpen stue. Ute er det en kjøkkenbenk, med et gassbluss og grill, en liten strand med bademulighet og utedo. Det er ikke strøm.
